I Have One Vote and It Will Go to Jeanne Ives

Tonight Jeanne Ives will join the Irish for Ives crowd at Reilly's Daughter Pub, in Oak Lawn.  Today, I will vote for Jeanne Ives.

I have one vote for Governor in this Illinois Primary Election and it requires that I take a Republican Ballot to cast this vote.   I am early voting today here in the 19th Ward at Mount Greenwood Park    3721 W 111th St, when it opens around 9AM.  First day is always delayed, but our judges and poll watchers do a terrific job.  Alderman Matt O'Shea will be on hand to make sure everything rolls-out smoothly. They usually do, here in a neighborhood Ward that takes voting very seriously.

This is the most important vote that I need to cast in years.  I normally take a Democratic Primary ballot, but not this time. This is a game changing vote.

Illinois is choking to death.

My neighbors, of whom the majority hold public service pensions,  agonize as they watch the IOUs passed to them from Big Jim Thompson to Bruce Rauner, turn into Confederate Money, or Illinois high-speed rail bonds.

Squeezy the Python is doing very well. Image result for Squeezy the python

Hard working people worry about Jeanne Ives and believe the bilge given out by the media and the Rauner Campaign that she wants to take away their IOUs from Republican  and Democrat grifters and oligarchs.

Illinois Public Pensions are the ultimate Ponzi Pyramid.  If you worked for Illinois and have gotten out with your 85%, all is good.

The millions more of you - not so much.Pension_primer_graphics_2-19_clean-01

Pensions were looted to make a very few people rich.

Public school teachers, cops, firemen and later AFSCME workers were treated to the following:
Shorting pension payments to buy immediate budgetary relief. The nonpartisan Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability, the fiscal research arm of the General Assembly, concluded in 2013 that the largest cause of the unfunded pension liabilities was inadequate contributions from the state. Underpayments between 1985 and 2012 totaled $41.2 billion, the agency calculated.
•Enhancing pension benefits. Former GOP Gov. James Thompson agreed in 1989 to establish a compounding, 3 percent cost-of-living increase for retirees. Another round of benefit enhancements followed in the late 1990s. In May, the state Supreme Court ruled that those changes can't ever be revoked for tens of thousands of current and retired government workers.
•Clearing a bloated state payroll by letting workers retire early. A 2002 plan created under Republican Ryan and pushed by Democratic House Speaker Michael Madigan cost the pension systems at least four times more than originally billed and won't be paid off until after 2045, when early-century budgetary ills will be the stuff of history books. David McKinney in Crain's Chicago Business ( emphases my own)

That is Bi-Partisan Suicide, neighbors.  The oligarchs found their solution - Soak the Rich, code for increase income and property taxes via a heavy progressive tax, or plank # 2 from the Communist Manifesto*.

I believe that Jeanne Ives intends to reform pensions.  She has a plan. None of the other's have anything, except legalize weed and increase Illinois progressive taxes, while feeding  empty pensions and killing off what remains of the middle class in this state for good.

Jeanne Ives is the only candidate who stands against the American Holocaust - abortion. America will never be great again, until this horror of slaughtering a babies is euphemized as health care ends.  Jeanne Ives stands against abortion and the Planned Parenthood abortion industry.

I you are fine with abortion, you are OK with anything.

Jeanne Ives does not pander for votes and understands that the word illegal
 means something.

I might be the only DNA in my vast family of hard-working skilled trades people to cast this vote, but I believe it will topple Bruce Rauner's place-holding tenure as governor.

Come the general election, Jeanne Ives can count on my solitary vote again.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Illinois has had a very long and perilous fall.

*Karl Marx and Frederick Engels, in the Communist Manifesto, advocated a heavy progressive tax as a means of despoiling the “bourgeoisie” and softening middleclass society up for the dictatorshp of the proletariat.

My Lunch with Jeanne Ives

Image result for Jeanne and Rich Ives

Yesterday, I took the Rock Island Metra from 103rd to La Salle Street station for an 11:30 luncheon of the Finance Committtee of Ives for Illinois.  I was flattered to be invited, because I do not have two-nickels to rub together.

I helped Chicago Renaissance Man Mike Houlihan form  the Irish for Ives which will host a fundraiser at Reilly's Daughter on Monday, March 5th between 5-7PM.  That will be a great event, where traditional Democrats like me can ask Jeanne Ives about their public service pensions, Bosco Rauner's lie, that Representative Ives shovels Mike Madigan's snow covered sidewalks over on Kedvale & 64th and how she plans to get Illinois back on its feet.I passed out some fliers to my fellow passengers who either accepted them, or politely declined.  Most took them.  One woman chatted me up and said that she will probably go to the event.
5 to Watch: The Final Day of the 2018 Pyeongchang GamesImage result for rauner paul bauer funeral
Jeanne Ives has nowhere near the money to respond to Governor "Bosco" Rauner's calumnies.  This same place-holding creep, tried to hijack the funeral of Commander Paul Bauer and equated drinking chocolate milk to solving race relations.   As such many 19th Ward residents are buying the ads from Governor Bosco, like they were words coming from a burning bush:

                      She's a Madigan crony!
She is hateful, bigoted and wants my pension

All without any examples given other than repetitions of Eric Zorn, or Sun Times talking points.

The worst comes from a shirt-tail cousin of mine with a swell County job, who will be working to re-elect Toni Preckwinkle shortly.
If you see the "Irish for Ives" posters up on the South Side, let the businesses know you won't support them. I saw one on 111th in Mt Greenwood today and they immediately agreed to take it down. There's supposed to be a fundraiser for her at Reilly's Daughter Oak Lawn. Let them know too.
He attached a smear piece from Daily Kos 2013 about Ives the Union Buster though the same Union Buster has been supported by IUEO 150.  Jeanne Ives must be scaring the hell out of people who want to keep things going the way they are.  They know if Ives knocks Rauner out in the primary, JB Pritzker will not have the planned can of tomatoes in the 15 round bout in November.  Nor, do they want Jeanne Ives to face Chris Kennedy, let alone Progressive Boy Toy Biss.   So union leaders who were all-in for Rahm want Rauner to lay down in November for them all.

The rank and file union membership are stuck with the property taxes, the water bills, the lousy schools and are told who not to vote for.

Union voters must declare in a primary polling place and people have big ears, adapted to the slightest volume thanks to street cash and Rauner has plenty.  I takes a very special kind integrity to take an unsanctioned ballot in Chicago.

Tearing down posters and threatening business boycotts?   These same union loyalists shop at WalMart and regularly cross picket lines to snag an Italian beef.   Hey, it's a free country. . .still.

I arrived at the Union League Club and was asked to man the greeter's table for a few minutes, which I did and introduced myself while I handed out name tags.

A gentleman by the name of Mike Schultz was carrying a huge briefcase and asked me, " I suppose Ives is a Democrat, this being Illinois.  I am coming from Wisconsin and satyed here over night."

I explained that Jeanne Ives was running against Gov. Bruce Rauner in the March Primary as a Republican and he asked me about her.  I explained that Ives is the only Pro-Life candidate for the office of Governor by either Party,  was a comon sense fiscal conservative who wants to halt the run-away pension crisis while easing the pain of the victims of former Governor Jim Edgar's IOU briberies, a West Point grad and Army officer, mother of five children two of whom serve in the armed forses and honest, tough and good humored, happy person.

Jeanne Ives came up the stairs and we met for the first time, " Pat Hickey, it's nice to see a Facebook person in person."

I introduced the Guv to Mr. Schultz.

Mr. Schultz is a dreamer, of German, Irish and Japanese blood, who grew up in Bridgeport.  His grandmother lived two doors down from the real Mayor - Richard J. Daley.   Schultz went on to explain that he was selling a product that he helped developed - a pain relieving lotion made from hemp oil.  He is searching States for the expansion of his business and is skipping Illinois as toxic to innovation and industry.

Mike Schultz gave me a bottle of the lotion for my retired carpenter brother who is crippled up with artheritis in his knees, hands, shoulders and ankle.  He is no fan of Trump, Rauner, or Ives.  I am a huge fan of Jeanne Ives.

Mr. Schultz bid farewell and said, " I am very impressed with you, Mrs. Ives.  Best of luck!"

We were called into lunch/

I knew Dan Proft and was astonished to see him  with whiskers.  I was introduced to Jeanne's husband Rich, who is an engineer and a West Point man.  He had been with Kenny Construction, when the great flood washed through the Loop.  Rich is like  . . .every guy I know in this neighborhood, funny, embarassed to be there, serious about his wife and his family.   Rich Ives would be at ease at Kens, Barney Callaghan's or Hinky Dinks.  Alas,Mr. Ives gave up beer and smokes for Lent.

There at my table sat Mike Houlihan with two gentleman donors, as well as Dan Patlak, the only Republican in Cook County government, and Representative Tom Morrison.  We later joined by Mr. Spencer from Christ the King Parish.  Jim Tobin and John Powers sat with the Ives' and Chair of Finance Committee Mr. Vince Kolber, an elegant Polish gent from Seneca, NY who adopted Illinois as his home state, built a mechanical service corporation RESIDCO, funds The Little Sisters of the Poor and The Big Shoulders Fund.   Real robber-baron type.

We began with the Pledge of Allegiance and Mr. Kobler explained his notion of fund-raising which matched that of the great Bob Foster of Leo High School - make everyone an investor.

Most people believe that fundraising is whale-hunting. Everyone seems to believe the notion of nailing down a million dollar give, as the pinnacle of success. No.  Leo High School defied the know-it-alls for decades, including my own two, but counting on committed people.  Leo's Alumni are like 17th Century Jesuit Black Robes - they drag in new converts and turn those converts into missionaries.

Jeanne Ives has the support of this Democrat because she is honest, happy and heroic.  One older gentleman in  Mount Greenwood told me " She's gonna win!  The little girl has alot of hard bark on her." That, she do.
Vince Kolber, running for 5th Congressional District
Vince Kobler is accepting checks for Ives for Illinois and he wrote another huge one yesterday. Vince Kobler had writtne big checks for Governor Bruce "Bosco" Rauner, until he proved himself to be the fraud that he happens to be.  Jeanne Ives was handed a check in the amount of $ 300,000.

Mike Houlihan and I felt the change in our pockets.

Jeanne Ives thanked Mr. Kobler, who himself had run for Congress in the 5th District in 2016, for leading her 'rag-tag band of insurgents'  who depend upon people power to get her message out.

Ives noted that all Rauner has is money, lots and lots and lots and lots of money.   Fund-raising is the art of friend making.

Jeanne Ives praised Mike Houlihan and me for our work on the upcoming Reilly's Daughter event.  In a room full of well-to-do women and men, it was uncommonly nice of Jeanne to recognize two broke boys.

Like I said, fund-raising is friend making and Jeanne Ives was on way to Peoria.  She had just comeback from Decatur, Belleville, and Watseka, Illinois, where union members learned the truth about Ives for Illinois from Jeanne Ives herself.

I wish my shirt-tail cousin and a few of louder partisans were as fair-minded.

I met Jeanne Ives and I don't have two-nickels together.

Wonder if Rauner, or JB Pritzker would give me two hoots in hell?

It's your vote.

Hey leave up the signs.  Don't go to the event.  Even better, don't vote.

Sun Times Also Endorses Governor "I'm Not in Charge!" Jeanne Ives Must be Surging!

Image result for Ives v. Rauner

As we say, had Ives not entered the race, we might have had a tough time endorsing Rauner. With a handful of exceptions, we believe he has been a failure as governor, and he has only himself to blame. He promised what he could not deliver. Sun Times Endorsement of Bruce Rauner

"This is a pivotal, once-in-a-generation election where you can change the trajectory of this state. But trust me, it’s either, we’re going all in for a taxpayer revolution, or you’re going to see the slow going-out-of-business sale here in the state of Illinois.” Jeanne Ives in  Bureau County News

Don't that make your blue eyes brown, Bruce?

Both Chicago papers endorsed the Cook County oligarchy's place-holder Governor Bruce Rauner.
Image result for Ives v. Rauner
Jeanne Ives, according to the Sun Times editorial board geniuses, is not 'compassionate' and her supporters are bully voters. Identity politics is stuck on stupid and the news media will not move the information dial to the facts.

Cadre demographics keeps the ink wet, but does not do much to level the playing field for people who work for a living, or all races, creeds and inclinations.

Both Chicago dailies follow the 2016 Presidential playbook of editorial broad brushing and fear-mongering that helped sweep Donald J. Trump into the White House.

Image result for Ives v. Rauner

It is very clear that Jeanne Ives scares the bejabbers out of the comfortable Cook County oligarchs who continue to chase the middle class and the well-to-do out of Illinois.

With both Chicago rags endorsing Bruce Rauner, Jeanne Ives should have no problem silencing low-information outlets with plain speaking and turning Jeanne Ives converts into missionaries.

I applaud both the Tribune and the Sun Times for their help in ridding Illinois of One -Term Rauner on March 20th and poising Jeanne Ives against JB Pritzker in November.

Meet and Greet Jeanne Ives - The Next Governor of Illinois

Jeanne Ives is on the down-state hustings. There is wonderful video of her talk to the Decatur Club of that fine town linked below at Herald and Review.   This is a pretty good, but skewed, report on the event.
To an outside observer, several factors may be working against Ives.
She had $23,488 on hand in her election fund as of Tuesday, according to the Illinois Sunshine Database. By comparison, Rauner had more than $65 million  in his re-election fund.
Name recognition will be a hurdle as well. A Capital Fax/We Ask America poll conducted Oct. 25 to 29 found that 83 percent of likely Republican voters have not heard of Ives.
In the same poll, 61 percent of 1,064 likely Republican voters had a favorable impression of Rauner. Just 24 percent had an unfavorable opinion.
But speaking at the forum, Ives said Rauner’s record has made him vulnerable to Republican voters who see him as a failed governor who sided with Chicago Democrats over his conservative base on abortion and education.
“He’s going to have to spend a lot of money to convince people he’s something he’s not,” Ives said. “We only have to spend enough money to get our message out and let people know who we are.” Decatur Herald & Review
Actually the Ives Campaign has this, according to Illinois Sunshine Database

Ives For Illinois
Committee Funds Amount
Funds Available on Dec 31, 2016 Quarterly Report $0.00
Funds Raised Nov 9, 2017 to Dec 31, 2017 $438,579.87
Funds Raised Since Dec 31, 2017 $2,642,000.00
Total Funds Raised $3,081,713.52

That is much more than the $23,488 reported by the Herald & Review.

Name recognition problem for Jeanne Ives?  Could be. Depends upon what, or whom you read.

We Ask America has a C rating from 538 Poll Rating service.  That is a Participant Ribbon compared to Rasmussen, St. Norbert University and Marist College pollings A and A+ ratings.

Capitol Fax Blog is a pay-to-play news aggregator skewed to affirm what Cook County Democratic and Progressive Democrats already hold as true.

The polling in question was conducted in October of 2017, three months before Jeanne Ives destroyed Governor Rauner in the Chicago Tribune debate.

Jeanne Ives is not as well-know, or notorious, as Bruce Rauner; nor, is her vice heard coaxing jailed former governor Rod Blagojevich about squeezing into President Obama's abandoned U.S. Senate seat. Rather, the plain speaking West Point graduate and mother of five speaks directly to the people of Illinois.

As she stated at the Decautur Club on January 13th, “Whenever we come into town – and we have been all over the state – we always have an open Meet and Greet so people in town can feel comfortable coming in and talking directly to me and asking their questions directly to me. We don’t do any stages events that way and we don’t do canned questions.”

Watch the video linked with the Herald & Review story.

In the light of a sex scandal, Jeanne Ives called for Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan to resign.

Capitol Fax conducted its own polling save Mike Madigan's job and preserve things as they *are in Illinois!

For those who want change in Illinois :

Meet Jeanne Ives at a fundraising event at Reilly's Daughter Pub  on Monday, March 5th from 5-7 PM.
Reilly’s Daughter is located at 4010 West 111th Street in Oak Lawn with plenty of free parking.

This opinion was artfully conducted and no polling harmed any At&T customers at dinner time.

Chicago Media Blackout on Jeanne Ives in Day Three: Facebook Trolls Seem to add to 19th Ward Neighborhood Rolls

Image result for Ives scares Rauner
Rauner is news how?  Jeanne Ives has a Revolution going on!

I have had objections to my assertion that Jeanne Ives' Campaign for Governor, or the Ives Revolution, that has hair-lipped plutocrats like JB Pritzker, Bruce Rauner and Fred Eychaner, not to mention the PACS that pretend to be labor unions ( SEIU, AFSCME, & CTU), causing a media black-out on the feisty Mom of Five and future Governor of Illinois.

Object away!  There is still no Jeanne Ives reportage in either Chicago daily rag.   There is an increase in troll traffic on neighborhood groups here in the 19th Ward and 3rd Congressional District.

In fact, my Facebook postings in neighborhood groups featured more voices hitherto unheard.
One guy with a thin FB resume seems to live in Ridgeland, Wisconsin, where he is leading a petition to alter Ridge Pioneer Days and put an end to greased pig and chicken tossing* contests.

I wondered if our lusty pioneer forebears conducted such surveys against beaver trapping and opposite sex bundling - probably.
Chicken being tossed from the roof of a building into a crowd of people.
Well it appears that Madison, WI activists are particpating in the Illinois Primary election as well as ending Pioneer Days. Thinks of the chickens!!!!  Think of the hogs!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do and they are delicious!

I blocked the more strident and unqualified assertions by troll-like posters.

Make an intelligent objection to Jeanne Ives as a candidate - don't label a person you don't know, disagree with-  at least, until tapes surface of Jeanne Ives mocking Emil Jones with Blago on the blower, or she takes a nickel from Personal PAC.

Thoughtful and good people can disagree about politics, like these people from my neighborhood groups:
 Re: Ives Candidacy
  • This woman does not represent who I am as a strong, taxpaying, hardworking wife, mother, and teacher.
  •  Kiss those pensions goodbye, city workers.
  • I've seen plenty of news coverage of Ives. Most of it was about her terrible ad.
Well, that was before I posted my prediction of a news black-out on Friday and since then one group has added 100 new members.  The administrator asked,
Quick question and I am not complaining... Did people get blocked in other neighborhood groups? I have added over 100 new members in the last couple weeks ...thanks... over 4100 members in the group."
Could be an active neighborhood group swell, or might it be interested out-of-staters like my chicken- tossing  opponent with a neighborhood listing in Ridgeland, WI.

Well, trolls get blocked and neighbors get to post their opinions.

Today, is Sunday and again neither Chicago daily offers any Ives Campaign news.

Jeanne Ives is out on the downstate hustings!

On political TV shows, hard-working Chicago reporters follow all of the fictional candidates all over Chicago and Illinois, but our real life reporters go only where they are told to go by their masters.

Here is Jeanne Ives Schedule, newshounds!  Let's cover the whole story and not just snow jobs,  cover-ups and re-modeling work.

Preach Not to Choir, Jeanne Ives! Remember, You Want Missionaries, Not Merely Converts

I am all in for Jeanne Ives.  I am a traditional Democrat (non-Marxist, Pro Life variety) and intend to help get this fine woman elected.

However, my support is no where near enough.  Take this, for what it is worth Guv.  This new ad targeting conservatives is nice, but they are already on board. Great ad.

Get to my neighbors - the good people of the 19th Ward and 3rd Congressional District.  There is a goldmine of votes here and voters who take elections seriously.  These are people with families.

Get to Mexican families!

Get to African American Families

We are thick in the 3rd Congressional District.

Most of these voters are blue-collar skilled trades people, many work in public sector jobs and the Progressive Juggernaut of limitless spending has targeted these people with street money to spare and spurious ads that will paint Jeanne Ives and Congressman Dan Lipinski as Siamese-twins of the Trump family.

The Move-On.org and Occupy Democrats low-information zealots are already at work on social media against Ives as a Cruella De Ville and Lipinski as the Baby Doc Duvalier of K-town, in the hope of turning Stan and Stella over to Marie Newman and Lupe and Carlos into JB Pritzker voters.

One person hurled this at a post I put for Ives:  "her horrible, cruel message is because Rauner didn't follow the party line i.e. the t-party line. Her style is more trumpesque."

To which I replied, "I hear she lit a box of kittens on fire in McCook."

People in the 3rd District, like the people of Quincy, Rock Island, Free Port, Galena and Granite City Illinois are people of faith.  People of faith make great partisans and missionaries.

The Jeanne Ives Revolution* needs revolutionaries.  The Revolution needs people of faith, because faith ignites aspiration and aspiration makes one active.  People of faith,  Muslim, Christian and Jews of every race and ethnicity, do not fall for slick verbiage, or nifty deals.

People want to know that an elected official will not allow people to pick their pockets, violate their liberties, or erase their pensions.

The Progressive screamers already scare-mongering voters about their public pensions, while Progressive grifters continue to collect more pensions.   Instead of an ad that reinforces what average people already know about Jeanne Ives, let us see a short ad that addresses public pension concerns of cops, firefighters, and all public employees.

People will gain faith in Jeanne Ives.

People will aspire to help move the Ives' Revolution.

People will actively get out the vote in the March Primary and November General Election.

People will work with Jeanne Ives to get Illinois back on its hind legs.

Jeanne Ives does not need converts. Jeanne Ives needs Missionaries!  Missionaries who know that Jeanne Ives has a revolutionary plan to get Illinois back to sanity.

* I would prefer to term it the Ives Counter Revolution, but that's just me.

Prediction - Watch for Chicago Media News Blackout on Jeanne Ives for Governor

I was struck this early morning, by two things

  1.  The general lack of snow accumulated, thus far, in the 'biggest storm of our times'
  2. The complete absence of news, opinion, screeds and vaping in either daily rag for this hick -burg concerning anything related to Jeanne Ives, Candidate for Illinois Governor.
What do this portend?

One never knows, do one? - to quote the great Fats Waller.

One might opine that Jeanne Ives' ad, which blew every other campaign for governor into the cheap seats, gave the feisty Mom of Five from the School on the Hudson River more name recognition in Cook County, Illinois and the good old USA than a fat man calling up Blago, or a Governor hiding with abortionists. Every one is talking about Jeanne Ives and that must stop, according to the wallets of Illinois.

Nota Bene!

  • Both papers compete for the coveted 5-6 things You Need to Know About Snow scoop. List makers are almost as pathetic as bullet point artistes.
  • The Sun Times tries to make a case for Progressive Boy Toy Dan Biss, now that we learn JB Pritzker insulted black politicians on tape while trolling for Blago's attention and Obama's Senate Seat
  • The Tribune is busy buttressing Pritzker's sorry butt with a howler from the always ridiculous Eric Zorn
  • Medill's Nativist turned Progressive image took another harpoon - this time for screwing women instead of police officers

No news about the news making, won't-back-down candidate for Illinois Governor!

Sneedless to say, the Big Money (SEIU/Eychaner/Personal PAC et al) called both editorial boards and said - " No News is Great News, as far as Jeanne Ives is concerned.

What is this?  A war on the only woman in the race?  Gender selectivity?  Come on gals, get them rolling pins and hair pins out!

I expect that both fish-wrappers will find no room for Jeanne Ives with the exception of the forthright and tough John Kass.  No one tells him what to write and he is keeping the Tribune afloat.

Cancel your subscriptions, until we see all the news that's fit to print - you know, like Jeanne Ive's Policy Revolution

An ArchPundit Said " No "True Conservative" Can Win in Illinois. Yet, Jeanne Ives Will

ArchPundit - Monday, Oct 30, 17 @ 12:12 pm:Let’s say she ( Jeanne Ives) wins the primary. That’s not gonna happen, but let’s just say it does. What possible route does she have in a general election? Candidates who run as True(TM) conservatives don’t win statewide in Illinois. from Capitol Fax
Image result for Mark Fairchild Illinois
Hey, Arch, can you say Mark Fairchild?  He was the right-wing LaRouchie nutbag who managed to grab on to Adlai Stevenson's Gubernatorial coat-tails in 1986.  Adlai was Democratic candidate for Governor against Big Jim Thompson.

Yet, no True Conservative has won a statewide election . . .as a Republican. Nor, can.

Archpundit's  last sentence is a salient point.   Name a True conservative who won any statewide office.

I can't.  You can't No one can name a "True" conservative who won any statewide office.  That label sticks.

Illinois Republicans have long ago given up Honest Abe's ghost and settled in as Democrat Lite officeholders.

The worst of the lot was Governor Jim Edgar who was shielded from scrutiny by the Mikva-minded commissars of Cook County.

George Ryan was a conservative who was used by the Progressives to ban the Death Penalty in the false hope of avoinding jial time for thecrimes and misdemeanors begun and encultuated by Edgar in the Secretary of State's office.   Poor George thought that the Progressives who put him up for Nobel Prize, when he emptied Death Row were on the level.

Judy Baar Topinka danced to anyone's polka.

The Du Page County power wheels invented Rauner's "I'm not a Social Conservative"  years ago.

The Democrats are not only vicious secularist proto-Marxists, but also skilled media manipulators.

Republicans blow off their own toes and then gimp into every public lion cage sporting a pork chop suit.

Rauner, who only won because Pat Quinn was so toxic-ly stupid ( JRW!!!!!), has tried to cast Jeanne Ives as House Speaker Mike Madigan's favorited Republican.    Facts are stubborn things.
Image result for illinois Gop Pat Brady and Bruce Rauner
Madigan's favorite Republican is and has been Pat Brady and Brady is all for Bruce, until the General Election.

Jeanne Ives is no Illinois GOP/Democrat Lite candidate for Governor.

The label masters of the media and the political money that tells them  what to think stamp Jeanne Ives as a Right-Wing Republican.

That works for low-informtion voters and the self-satisified of Illinois.

Jeanne Ives stands for the values of Lincoln.

  • Jeanne Ives Will Return Power to You:  Ives has spent 5 years as a state legislator standing up to Mike Madigan. And she stood up to Gov. Rauner when he has betrayed our conservative values.

  • Jeanne Ives Will Return Your Home to You: Ives will institute a 1% hard cap on property taxes as a percentage of home value. This will return your home value to you that has been stolen by the highest property taxes in the nation.

  • Jeanne Ives Will Return Your Money to You: Ives will rescind the 32% income tax increase passed by Chicago Democrats and surrender Republicans. Ives will repeal the new, open-ended entitlement Rauner created by signing public funding of abortion on demand.

  • Jeanne Ives Will Return The Rule Of Law To You: Ives will repeal Illinois’ sanctuary state status and allow local and state law enforcement to cooperate with federal law enforcement Democrats and traditional Illinois Republicans do not.

Can a True Conservative win state-wide office.

No.  Jeanne Ives can and will do so in November.

Illinois for Ives and Ives for Illinois.

“Rep. Jeanne Ives has associated herself with questionable individuals that really don’t represent the views of the people of Illinois,” - Governor Bruce Rauner in Politico

One of the best reporters in the sorry State of Illinois is Natasha Korecki - late of the Chicago Sun Times and currently the Illinois Playbook editor for Politico.

Unlike too many Politico headline-grabbers, Natasha Korecki never allows politics to guide her words.  Ms. Korecki is the real deal - fair, professional and exacting with regard to the details.

You never, ever, get half a story with Natasha Korecki. She is a blue-collar Chicagoan.

Today, her front page by-line in Politico features the  Ad that is deemed "Repulsive" by the elites of both Party labels. BTW - it was Dan Bliss one of the Democratic stalking horses for plutocrat J. B. Pritzker's Guv Dreams who termed it 'Repulsive.'

The ACLU resorted to NPR scatology calling the ad "Sad."  You know, "It's just sad. Really, sad."

Bruce Rauner, a long time Cook County trough snouter, ran as Republican against Progressive Democrat Governor Pat Quinn, an accomplished goof and un-original thinker, which was like running against   J. B. Pritzker in the 100 meter dash any day.

Bruce sported Carhartt jackets and rode his  Harley into the hearts of uninformed voters as well as people suffering from Pat Quinn Malaria* ( about 88.4% of the Illinois population) .

Bruce immediately did nothing.Image result for J.B. Pritzker with Rod Blagojevich

That was the plan all along - hold the spot for four years, while J. B. Pritzker dropped some tonnage for the Gubernatorial sound bytes and photo shoots 2017-18.

Jeanne Ives  stepped out of Springfield quick-sand and place her neck out for the vicious, the complacent, the satisfied and bought off to take some ax whacks.  Rauner was immediate.

The Ad vilifies Rauner  and not people.  I love my trade union, LGBTQ, Teachers Union and my Irish second and third cousins who landed in Canada and took a three year day visit to Hoffman Estates.   I want nothing but a great Illinois for them.

Only Jeanne Ives will afford them that possibility.

She is a womb to tomb social justice warrior.

Now, after Bruce and his Missus used their Equality Illinois Platinum donations and their Personal PAC good fellowship against Jeanne Ives, he now sets his piggy little eyes one me.

Bruce calls me questionable?   Ask, Bruce!  What you wanna Know?

Is support for a West Point grad, veteran, mother of five who wants a fair shake for all of Illinois not just selected few questionable?

Hell, no!  Last year it was deporable me.   Now, it is questionable me.

Hillary Clinton used that  same such sobriquette and stayed so long at the bottom of the toaster lot that she is still smoking.

I am far from questionable - I am taking a Republican ballot on March 20th and voting for Jeanne Ives.

In November Jeanne Ives will sprint past J. B. Pritzker and he can again use his gold card at Fogo de Chao.
J.B. can Bruce about their wine list.
