Okay, Kagan Ain't Gay - Is That a Problem for Who?

My Grandma Donahue could not imagine why Liberace, Rock Hudson and Charles Nelson Reilly never seemed to have a blond on the arm. "They're good-looking gents with wads of spending loot; what's the matter with some girls?"

Grandma, they bat from the other side of the plate, they like Tyrone Power as much as you do; . . . more.

The fact remains that Liberace, Rock Hudson and Charles Nelson Reilly were good-looking gents with wads of spending loot and heaps of talent. They never seemed to want for work, despite LGBT Victim hood doctrine that demands that they wore pink stars on their clothing at all times and slept on straw in between beatings.

Grandma Donahue and Grandpa Donahue were dragged up in the 'Ville - Canaryville, which is not exactly Boystown, but many boys spent their youths between Wentworth/Halsted; 39th & 47th Streets.

Elena Kagan is President Obama's choice for the Supreme Court seat vacated by Justice John Paul Stevens. The White House and everyone that they can find are jumping on the Oprah Coach - "She's Not Gay!!!!" Politico which gets fed directly everything coming out of the White House has a full-court Press denial about Elena Kagan's mysterious inclinations

Walzer, a former aide to Senator Joe Lieberman and a lawyer in Bill Clinton’s Department of Health and Human Services, now lives on Long Island, N.Y., and runs a non-profit that helps low-income parents prepare young children for school.

At the time, though, the two lived the life of single, straight young women, with a bit of a Harvard Law twist.

Walzer recalled “discussion about who she might be interested in – the usual girl talk stuff-- talk about how to get his attention.”

This was “less along the lines of how to wear your hair,” Walzer said, than how to avoid intimidating men with an intellect and confidence that weren’t always seen as attractive traits

Okay, so what? Who asked? Remember how the tightly closeted Rosie O'Donnell used to swoon at the mention Tom Cruise? Jesus, you could have knocked nearly every I.Q. above room temperature over with a sledge hammer blow between the lamps, when Ellen DeGeneris, Rosie O'Donnell and Melissa Etheridge announced that they like Babes too!

Watson, the game's afoot!

I could care less. Can Elena Kagan do the job? Tom Tunney, is openly gay and is one of the few Chicago Alderman who is not a hair-trigger for bladder spilling laughter. Tom Tunney is gay and happens to be a great public servant. Congressman Barney Frank is openly gay and is a sputtering arrogant train wreck.

Get to the issues. Define the Constitution, Ms. Kagan. Give the right answers and become Justice Kagan.

Okay, you ain't gay.

Alderman Tom Tunney - Duncan's Clout List - Tunney Acted Like a Gent. Well Done, Alderman.

Progressive Gas-bag and Fois Gras Foe Joe Moore whined for an Obama Campaign Manger's Kid. That's Clout.

In 2008, Ald. Joe Moore, 49th, asked Duncan's office to reconsider an admissions case involving the relative of one of President Barack Obama's campaign advisers. The student's application to a prestigious public prep school was rejected, and the family said it was because he had missed too much school after falling ill with mononucleosis.

Hope, Change and the usual excuses.

Contrast that Progressive Butt Kisser's weasel work to that of a real elected official.

Helping a working man get an education for his kid is what being an elected official is all about.

Tom Tunney is a solid guy!

Joe Moore is a Progressive Gas-bag and Fois Gras Foe. Do the Math . . .well that is if you went to a Catholic school.

Ald. Tom Tunney, 44th, said that in 2008 he tried unsuccessfully to help the doorman of a condominium building in his ward get his daughter into Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy.

The man, who does not live in the 44th Ward, was one of Tunney's employees in the early 1980s.

"He asked me for help. … He had said to his daughter, ‘If you get good grades, someday you will be able to go to Gwendolyn Brooks.' She got good grades and didn't get in," Tunney said. "I know the family. They are very poor. They have never been supporters of mine or anything like that. I was trying to help an impoverished kid."

That is what being an elected official is all about.

On- The - Level Liberal Lawyer Tamara Holder Beer Tends for Tom Tunney - Tips to Charity

I respect and admire Liberals - folks who believe that real justice issues like housing, health and social services can best be promoted through government. I take a very dim view of Progressives - patch-work Hegelians and phonies.
Liberals I admire and Progressives give me the giggles. The more one giggles the more self-righteous and goofy become the Progressives.

Pat Quinn is a liberal. I like and admire the Governor.

Toni Preckwinkle is a Progressive and Toni believes that Nobel Laureate Saul Bellow is Ian Smith*. Some one told Toni that Saul bellow was a racist and that settle the novelist's hash for him. No Street Name, Saul! Toni is smarter than a Fifth Grader and wants to be our County Board President.

One of my favorite Liberal lawers is Tamara Holder - a true believer. She holds for the Bill of Rights and the Constitution and not the daffy world of Roger Baldwin and G. Flint Taylor. That's Tamara Holder with the late King of Pop - who will not attend Friday night's event.

Ms. Holder will be tending bar for St. Thomas More Grammar School Alum an 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney - a Liberal I admire, as well.

Ms. Holder's bar tending tips will go to Hands on Helping. So, all you big tipping swells and Liberally inclined persons of quality drop by the 44th Ward Dinner Party and toss some swag into Tamara Holder's Tip Jar. Remember - Tipping is not a town in China. Always tip your bartender, waiter, waitress, cab driver, maid and red cap.

True fact, I have never - ever - seen a Progressive duke 'the help.'

*Ian Smith lived an exemplary family life and in private was a down-to-earth, modest man. Ian Smith was not corrupt nor was he a megalomaniac. However whilst Ian Smith acted in what he thought were the best interests of then Rhodesia he made some disastrous political decisions as Prime Minister which directly contributed to the trauma that Zimbabwe is suffering from today... The policies of his Rhodesia Front party radicalized black nationalists and directly spawned the violent and fascist rule of Zanu PF.
—David Coltart, member of the Zimbabwe Parliament (House of Assembly and Senate) since 2000

Gay Give Aways, Alderman Tunney?

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the rights of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” C.S. Lewis.

Identity Politics and Victim Agendas are played out. Alderman Tom Tunney's nod to the Gay Lesbian Bi-sexual and Transgender (GLBT) cadre is the latest such nonsense with his attempt to define GLBT as a minority in order to gain capital perks from tax-payers.

Thus:

Chicago’s first openly gay alderman today re-opened the volatile debate about whether City Hall should establish contract set-asides for businesses owned by lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered residents.

Six years after raising the issue only to drop it like a hot potato, Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) brought it up again during a Budget Committee hearing called to extend until 2015 a construction set-aside ordinance for minorities and women. Today, Tunney was hardpressed to explain how someone would prove they’re gay to qualify for a city set-aside — especially after the seemingly endless string of stories about minority business fraud.

“Qualified domestic partners. That could be one factor,” the alderman said.

He added, “That’s why there’s nothing passed yet in any municipality. We still need to work on the definition.”

Let's say I were a larcenous Blackguard. Recent history has taught us that there have been one or two. As a single man, a father of three children and home owner, might I not qualify? Were I to apply and say that I was, though a widower, a Proud Gay Man, would I need a like-gendered domestic partner? Or, merely the will, as Andre Malraux might to opine 'to feel Gay?' What's the test? Would I need to graphically prove Gayness? Or, might there be a more dignified loophole for this breeder Gay Wanna Be entrepreneur? T'would shock the kids and the woman I am dating, but, then again, I am a larcenous Blackguard.

Tom Tunney is a very successful business person and a very hard-working Alderman. His openly Gay tenure as Alderman has been pretty much marked by success and garnered Tunney praise from the Majority Breeders who seem to be the oppressors in this rosier shade of Identity Politics.

Gay businesses flourish. Chicago Gay Pride loudly sings that verse. Gays add to Chicago's diversity. Set-aside means a fixed game by Identity politicians. The level playing field is a field of in your dreams.

Let Gay Pride retain its proud and somber boast of its forthright and hard-working contributions to Chicago.

What is the difference between a Minority set-aside and rigged game in Commerce? Only the packaging and the editorials.

Huge thanks to Steve Jordan, banker, writer, wit and quaffer of fine Ale for the C.S. Lewis quotation in the most well-met and timely of manners!
