Kevin Clark The Pied Piper of Hamas - This Clown Needs Our Attention

Kevin Clark in a Fabulous Grey Tweed along with his Fellow Bush $ Activists -

Jeff Pickert
Buddy Bell
Kevin Clark
Andy Thayer
— The "Bush 4" Defendants

This creep Kevin Clark is the type of person parents need to warn their kids about - the smarmy do-gooding provacateur who sends earnest and often wildly ignorant young people out to fight his causes.

Kevin Clark was one of the creeps who organized the Catholic Schoolgirl Girls Against the War - six loopy kids who tossed fake blood on worshippers during Easter Mass at Holy Name Cathedral in 2008.

More Importanly, this clown goaded a young girl to be a martyr and toss herself in front of an Israeli bulldozer, so that Kevin Clark could mount a legal campaign against Israel over Gaza Settlements. Hamas fires rockets into Israel and finds cover among the hand-wringers thanks to creeps like Clark. God Bless Israel!

Did I mention that Kevin Clark is a Creep?

A Creep uses Kids whether they are in grammar school or in graduate school. The news Media always gives Creeps like Clark a pass. Mike Parker of Channel 2 CBS did so -

Jesus, will you people ever grow a pair?

Another activist here in Chicago wonders about his friend Mohammadi. She is an Iranian-born American citizen who was on the ship.

Kevin Clark of the Free Gaza Movement says she has a law degree, "but she has chosen to do this type of work, rather than make money."

Kevin Clark - Catholic Schoolgirl Task Master, Israeli Buldozer Champ and Gaza Flotilla Rear Echelon

Kevin Clark Lefty Rear Echelon Commando- what being an A$$hole is all about !
This fatuous clown is behind the the possible death of a young woman,Chicagoan Fatima Mohammadi (who is missing at the moment) with the Free Gaza Flotilla; helped and encouraged Rachel Corrie to get in front of an Israeli bulldozer -she too died; and helped organize, promote and mouthpiece the Easter Sunday attack* on worshipers at Holy Name Cathedral in 2008.

Kevin Clark is Chicago's Marxist rear echelon commando.

This fatuous clown who has impressionable kids do his street theatre. Kevin is linked to the death of two kids. Rachel Corrie and a young girl from Naperville.

Israeli commandos surround convoy, fire live ammunition upon Mavi Marmara, with hundreds of aid workers and activists aboard, including Chicago activist Fatima Mohammadi.

Here is is comfortable louse parsing the Catholic School Girls Attack. You see Kevin gets no blood on his hands.

Remember this dedicated onanists.

*
ix Iraq war protesters disrupted an Easter Mass on Sunday, shouting and squirting fake blood on themselves and parishioners in a packed auditorium.

Three men and three women startled the crowd during Cardinal Francis George’s homily, yelling “Even the Pope calls for peace” as they were removed from the Mass by security guards and ushers.

One Mass attendee, Mike Wainscott of Chicago, yelled at the anti-war protesters.

“Are you happy with yourselves?” he said. “There were kids in there. You scared little kids with your selfish act. Are you happy now?”

The group, which calls itself Catholic Schoolgirls Against the War, said in a statement after the arrests that they targeted the Holy Name Cathedral on Easter to reach a large audience, including Chicago’s most prominent Catholic citizens and the press, which usually covers the services.

Kevin Clark of International Solidarity Movement told the Chicago Tribune that he attended the Mass to serve as a witness for the protesters. The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) was founded in 2001 by Ghassan Andoni, a Palestinian activist; Neta Golan, an Israeli activist; Huwaida Arraf, a Palestinian-American; and George N. Rishmawi, a Palestinian activist. Adam Shapiro, an American, joined the movement shortly after its founding and is also often considered one of the founders.

According to a 2003 profile of ISM co-founder Adam Shapiro in the Jordan Star, Shapiro “justifies the Palestinian armed resistance against Israel as long as it is targeting Israeli soldiers and Jewish settlers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

ISM was accused of being linked to the suicide bombers that attacked the Mike’s Place bar in Tel Aviv on April 30, 2003, killing three people.

Burge Trial - The Progressive Voice Explains Justice

Say it often enough and they will swallow anything.
Fair is fair and Justice is blind unless driven by the Progressive Agenda to undermine any and all confidence and faith in law enforcement and the American Justice System.

From the Tribune commentary - a G. Flint Taylor's acolyte intones:

None of the Detectives should be granted any form of immunity unless they are willing to reveal information that will be helpful toward bringing down the entire operation of Jon Burge and his detectives who work under his command. . . . .

This is the Progressive voice.

Andy Shaw - Why Illinois Corruption is Safe in His Hands and Illinois Blues,Pizza and Buildings

Andy Shaw is not the dumbest S.O.B. (Solidly Oblivious Busybody) in Illinois, but he'll do!

I imagine that the shadowy forces of corruption in this State ( you know, Mikva, Kennedy and Dawn Clark Netsch) pushed out the daffy J. Terrence Brunner & Sons from the BGA in order to clear the way for Andy "Tenth Floor" Shaw - I witnessed AS of the BGA when he was the 'hard-hitting ABC News Ham' rush into the 10TH Floor Office of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development and demand the whereabouts of resigning Daley Aide Terry Teele. Terry Teele worked on the 5th Floor -the Mayor's Office. Lawd, Lawd!

Never one to disappoint my expectations of his talents and worth, I share, this, Andy's HUFFPO offering on Bad Guys.

Illinois is a legendary state in so many ways - from its architecture to its food; from its famed blues music to its political scene. One of the states more infamous residents happens to be the ex-Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, who also holds the title of being the first governor in Illinois history to be impeached. Sadly, he is also the fourth Illinois governor since 1970 to be indicted on federal charges.

Chicago Editorial Boards Will Attack Every Union But SEIU

Carol Marin will soak the Carpenters Union for months after some disappointed rat drops a dime on a BA he don't like. The Tribune will launch a huff and puff series about systemic racism in the skilled trades and the small number of black apprentices without mentioning the fact that black kids from public schools score horribly in math and plumbers need to know the difference between 1/8th" and 1/16th" and beef about testing standards, drug testing, valid drivers licences and requirements of that sort. They will make idiotic protestations about Slilled Trades hourly pay to heat up the idiots who bull-horn behind Andy Stern's Purple Gang without detatiling the many hours of study and personal expensees laid out by all tradesmen in order to "earn' their salaries. Teamsters, Hoisters, Riggers, Electricians, Operating Engineers, Pipe-fitters, Stage Hands and you name the trade are all fair journalistic game for the ersatz Menckens.

Not so SEIU. SEIU is not a union; it is a PAC -a very powerful PAC. It is and has been a Marxist lead PAC and one up to its eyeballs in corruption ( most recently the BLAGO pooch screwing by Fitzy the Fed - BLAGO will walk, BTW).

Dan McGrath and Bobby Hull - Poet Warrior and Warrior Poet

Dan McGrath of Chicago News Cooperative is one the finest prose craftsmen in the business. He is the master of the declarative sentence.

"Bobby Hull is 71, and that’s a sobering realization for those of us who remember him as the forever-young Golden Jet of the Chicago Blackhawks."

Bobby Hull is the Captain of the Ice and metaphorical soul of the Chicago Blackhawks.

He can spin a metaphor as well as shoot a black biscuit. Here Hull gives rival and teammate Bob Pulford a slap-shot concerning his management acumen.

“Bob Pulford couldn’t lead a dog out of a thunderstorm with a T-bone steak,” Hull said.

Benefit for Natasha McShane - June 4th at Engineers Local # 399

Let's Pack the Place! Great People always step up to help families in trouble. Natasha McShane, an exchange student at the University of Illinois, Chicago, was robbed and beaten with a baseball bat on April 23, 2010, on Chicago’s northside. The attack was a horrible crime with devastating effects.

Burge Trial - Tribune Reporter Matthew Walberg Gets The Whole Story -Little Things Mean a Lot

Less my Third makes you a rich man Holmes.

I know that Officers Fahey and O'Brien were tortured and murdered. I know that their murderers were caught and convicted.

Other stuff? Well for decades I have been reading about Millionaire Marxist Lawyer G. Flint Taylor's easy manipulation of the Chicago Media. Since the murders of Fahey and O'Brien serious journalists ( Bill Granger, Ray Coffey, Dennis Byrne, John McHugh, Nick Von Hoffman, Richard Lindberg, Jack Mabley & etc.) who wrote columns died or retired or were forced out by agenda dedicated editors. The new generation of columnists and editorialists are dedicated to the same principles as G. Flint Taylor - make accusations often and loud enough and future generations of less-than-careful readers will swallow anything. That is how Justice Politics is made. Politicians will play ball so long as some level of public opinion seems convenient.

However.

G. Flint Taylor has been to the plate more often than Michael Moore at Olde Country Buffet after Lent and has come up empty.

Facts are troubling things.

Torture? Beats me.

Today the Chicago Tribune Reporter covering the Burge Trial presented a fair and cold presnetation of the trial.

RUMMANA HUSSAIN of the Chicago Sun Times gilded G. Flint's Lillies. The Sun Times should have sent Natasha Korecki.

Here is some of what happened in the Tribune report. Well done, Matthew Walberg!

Suffredin admitted that even though he had just learned of the alleged abuse, he never checked with the medical staff at Cook County Jail to determine whether there was any record of injuries to Holmes when he came into the jail. And he said he and his trial partner never tried to have the confession thrown out on grounds that it was coerced because they believed that the statement was uncorroborated by other evidence and that the law would require the judge to acquit their client.

"You and your partner chose to skip a step with (the judge) to get the statement -- the only evidence against your client -- thrown out?" Beuke asked.

"That's correct," Suffredin said.

Beuke also questioned Suffredin about a key detail of Holmes alleged torture -- that he was suffocated with a small, plastic trash bag.

"Would it surprise you to learn that they (plastic trash bags) weren't introduced to the market until 1977?" he asked.

"I wouldn't know," Suffredin said.

So Mister Holmes was smothered in 1973, by a product not invented until 1977 . . . now that is torturing . . .the Truth and Justice.

Click my post title for the whole unvarnished story.

Yes, he ( Richard Stengel)does wear make-up!

Time magazine’s Richard Stengel reveals the cover of this week's issue and discusses the Pope's role in the Catholic Church. ( Richard Stengel - Time Magazine:

The Pope never has to say sorry . Gee, Richard and who could forget Love Story? Richard Stengel would have said, You're son has polio and walks like a spaz and Richard Stengel would have had his teeth sent down his esophagus - in a better day. Well, he still would in my Close-knit, ethnic (Catholic) neighborhood.

Time Magazine Kicks Catholics -Again. Jesuit America Gave Them Feed

No one hates like a Progressive. They hate coldly, consistently, and methodically. Progressives in the last century bonded ( Woman Suffrage, Hegelian Academics,Pacifists, Prohibitionist, Abortionists, Labor Radicals, and Old Timey Ku Klux Klan Nativists) and forged a coalition that gave America Prohibition. Prohibition was repealed and Progressive melted into the Daffy obscurity from which they sprang.

Post World War II labor strife, the Cold War and the Pill cleared they way again for the Progressive.

Confronting Progressive daffiness unchecked is the Roman Catholic Church. Catholics have rules and traditions going back to the Pentecost. Pete the Fisherman was given the Keys to the Kingdom - Catholics have an unbroken line of succession from Christ to Peter to Benedict XVI.

Progressives hate this and need this Rock eroded. They hate coldly, consistently and methodically.

This week, Time Magazine takes the baton from greasy fingers of a Jesuit Academic who wrote an obscure ( Progressives do love obscure - it's a Hegelian thing) article that kicks the Pope for is rock-solid stand on sexual mores and Life Issues - Rock solid - it is in the Pope's job description.

America is a Jesuit run magazine, that to my mind, is historically pusillanimous. Too many American Catholic academics are self-conscious about their Faith. They are embarrassed to be the tripe-eating, mackerel snapping immigrant readers of Chesterton, Belloc, and Hopkins and want to suck up to the Hellman's Mayonnaise that is American 19th Century Romanticism smeared on Hegelian arugula and white bread sandwich. They reject the sure footed humility of Catholic Thought for the robust wildman homo eroticism of Whitman, Thoreau and Emerson.

Well, boys and girls, the weak sister at America play ball with the Progressive secularists in order not to be ridiculed for eating fish on Friday and following doctrine. Jews ashamed to be Jews? I have yet to meet one. Baptists and Lutherans are comfortable in their skins. Catholics? They can be really mealy-mouthed and fawning. Most Catholic working folks are as tough-minded and devout as their grandparents were, but some college papered "I'm a Cultural Catholic -more Spiritual than Anything" Milksops think that being a lick-spittle go-along will gain entree to the Progressive Pantheon. No it won't. You just be a tool and a dull tool at best.
Speaking of tools . . . America set the stage for the coming week's Time Cover Issue that assaults the Catholic Church again.

"NEW YORK, May 20, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A column for the Jesuit magazine America, in which Rev. James Martin, S.J. criticized Pope Benedict XVI's pro-life and pro-family message in Portugal as "bizarre," and implied it was contrary to the Gospel, has been revised to omit the strongest language.

Martin, who serves as Culture Editor at the publication, took issue with the pope's recent statement that abortion and same-sex "marriage" rank among "some of today’s most insidious and dangerous threats to the common good."

"The equation of abortion, something that clearly is about a threat to life, with same-sex marriage, which no matter how you look at it, does not mean that anyone is going to die, is bizarre," he wrote. In a later version of the column, "bizarre" was deleted and replaced with "unhelpful at best."

Wrote the priest: "Why has same-sex marriage been equated with abortion? Are they really equivalent 'threats' to life?

"If you’re looking for a life issue with stakes as high as abortion, why not something that actually threatens life? Like war? Or the death penalty? Or the kind of poverty and destitution that lead to death?" he continued. "The great danger is that this increasingly popular equation will seem to many as having less to do with moral equivalency and more to do with a simple dislike, or even a hatred, of gays and lesbians.

The final sentence, which read, "And that goes against not simply Catholic teaching, but against the Gospel," was removed from the column as of Thursday. . . .

If the Holy Father's proclamation of the unchanging truth makes Father Martin uncomfortable, then it's time for Father Martin to hang up his collar," wrote Euteneuer. "How dare he misrepresent His Holiness's intent just to ingratiate himself further with the secular left, who find no sin in homosexual behavior! How dare he even imply that the Holy Father, by speaking the truth, somehow contradicts the Gospel and Catholic teaching!

"That such an offense would come from within the bowels of America Magazine is perhaps predictable, but no less infuriating."

Time Magazine is cold, consistent and methodical. The Pope will not yield, because the Church can not yield. The Church can not say that murder is choice; homosexuality is just fine for the propagation of Man; Jesus was a Woman; Peter was Transgender; Natural Law is Artificial; Abortion is Life; Euthanasia is an HBO prerogative.

Get set for Time Magazine's assault on my Church. It's Progressive.

LA Dodger Pitcher John Ely Coached by Leo Lion Tom "El Flamingo" Brennan -Leo '70

Leo Lion Tom Brennan* of the Leo High School Class of 1970 coached John Ely of LA Dodgers.

The Southtown Star tells the story of Leo Man Tom Brennan!

Watching from afar has been Ely's one-time pitching coach, Brennan.

Brennan, 58, a former Lewis University All-American, knows what Ely must be thinking. Brennan enjoyed two "hometown" major league moments in 1982, during his second season of a five-year major league career.

A first-round draft pick (fourth overall) of the Cleveland Indians in 1974, Brennan, who grew up at 82nd and Racine and graduated from Leo High School, needed seven years to work his way up the Indians' minor league ladder. Along the way, he picked up a nickname in winter ball: "El Flamingo," for the momentary hesitation in his delivery, when he held his left leg waist high before throwing the ball sidearm.

On May 21, 1982, Brennan made a memorable first appearance at old Comiskey Park. Entering the game with two outs in the second inning, Brennan retired 12 straight Sox hitters before allowing a single to Tom Paciorek. The latter was then caught trying to steal second base and Brennan left the game.

"I was nervous when I went out there," Brennan said. "But I tried to block out who was batting and just focused on trying to throw strikes. It took everything in my power to throw strikes."

When the Indians came back to Chicago that August, Brennan was summoned from the bullpen in the sixth inning to face Harold Baines, Greg Luzinski and Carlton Fisk.

He struck out all three.

Before he retired, Brennan appeared in four games with the Sox in 1984 and 12 games with the Dodgers in 1985.

"I ended up living in 26 different cities and played baseball in six countries," he said. "Playing for Tommy Lasorda and wearing the Dodger blue was really special. Dodger Stadium is a beautiful place to play baseball. We had Hollywood stars at the games. You'd be sitting in the locker room and Don Rickles would walk in.

"I wasn't there very long, but the Dodgers treated me like a Hall of Famer."

After his playing career, Brennan became a youth pitching coach at numerous Southland facilities, a side job he still does today.

He even took time out to appear in the 1993 movie "Rookie of the Year." Brennan is the home-plate umpire in the final baseball scenes.

Brennan's first meeting with Jack Ely and his 8-year-old son, John, came when Brennan was teaching pitching at the old Grand Slam in Glenwood.

"I liked Tom's easygoing manner," Jack said. "He didn't scream or yell. We would see Tom every Saturday morning, whether he was in Glenwood, Lockport or Chicago. John learned a lot from Tom. I think we spent about $4,000 over the years, which has turned out to be a very good investment."

"Jack is extremely dedicated to his son," said Brennan, who has raised two children with his wife, Bridget. "He never got in the way of John's development. John has always had good mechanics and a strong follow-through coming off the mound. He hasn't had a sore arm and has been a winner at every level of baseball. He is a great competitor.

"I've always been impressed with John's work ethic," Brennan added. "After having a good year, he would then work twice as hard in the offseason. Mentally, he is very strong. He has a balanced attack of pitches, whether it's a fastball, curve or changeup. You must have a balance when pitching in the major leagues.

"I just tried to tell John and his father what they needed to do and know. I have a great deal of respect for what John has accomplished."

Thursday, Tom Brennan will be applauding from a distance.

Thomas Martin Brennan (born October 30, 1952 in Chicago, IL) is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball. He pitched from 1981-1985 for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Brennan was known for an unusual right-handed pitching delivery. From the set position, he would lift his left leg, bent at the knee, and hold it in the air for several seconds. Then, he would quickly uncoil into a side-arm, "submarine-style", delivery.

Chicago Catholic School Test Scores Soar - No Chicago Newspapers Carry the News?

Yesterday, on the way home from Leo High School at about 4:20 P.M. I heard Chicago Catholic School Superintendent Mary Paul McCaughey announce that Chicago Catholic Schools ( elementary and secondary) posted their best standardized test scores in years. That was on WIND. I like Michael Medved.

Sister Mary Paul credited good parents, good teachers and solid no-nonsense curriculum in a values-based setting as reason for the success.

I turned to the Chicago Newspapers on-line at 4:00 AM and found . . .Zip, Nada, and Zilch. Try and Google something. The editorial boards do not want their agenda (Progressive/Tax Funded Special Interests/LGBT/Secularist) countered in hard copy.

Every scrap of bad news and any rumor of possible allegations of imagined bad news about Catholic schools, Catholic priests, Catholic beliefs get front page howler monkey fanfare from Chicago's editorial boards and iconic self-promoting columnists.

A poor delusional woman who believed herself to be an ordained priest ( there are no ordained Catholic Women Priests) was denied Catholic burial and the Tribune is still running her death notice - or at least it was still running yesterday ("Ordained against all odds" - nope still there) -in the attempt to make the Catholic Church appear at fault, when in fact the poor woman had self-excommunicated. Manya Brachear, the loopy religion Blogger/Columnists who invites every shaman and witchdoctor to pontificate on matters contrary to Catholic Doctrine, will no doubt have a hugely dismissive piece on Catholics and their mean spirited Faith.

Chicago Tribune -Ordained against all odds The Poor woman* is not and was not ordained! What a bunch of smug, self-righteous dip-sticks comprise the Tribune Editorial Board!

Chicago News Media is the captive of Progressive Agenda.

Only weeks ago, the Chicago and Illinois teachers unions succeeded in making Republican State Legislators go as yellow as a duck's foot and vote down Senator James Meeks' legislation that would offer inner city parents vouchers to attend inner city private ( read Catholic) schools. School Reform is lip-service. Columnists and editorial boards are controlled by the special interests with only the Progressive Secularist Agenda's hand on the joy-stick.

Catholic Schools save Illinois taxpayers millions of dollars and succeed in providing the education that the news media shoots its collective mouth off about every time a CPS kid is gunned down by a savage, or every time CPS test scores cork-screw lower in the achievement loam.

The News Media is a captive of special political interests.

*The excommunicated woman who imagined herself to be an ordained priest had a partner. The obituary caused a bit of talk among lawyers ( I had occasion to speak with several in my neighborhood). They believe that the "Nancy Katz" listed in the column as the next of kin or whatever the hell they want to be is actually the lesbian activist judge appointed to the Circuit Court of Cook County. Why would gay activist, or an editorial seek to advance its agenda with smear at the Catholic Church? Practice.

No Chicago Journalist ( Hack) Will Take on SEIU, or Will No Chicago Journalist Take on SEIU?

Dithering Dick Durbin is a sausage made by Progressive politics - an expensive, bland and largely indigestible sausage. Not every politician is a sausage but Progressive politics is a policy-sausage manufacturer that employs smarmy pie-chart cutters like Ralph Martire for Tax Increases every hour on the eights and 40Watt Intellect columnists. The sausage casing is provided by Teachers Unions, Planned Parenthood, SEIU and the corporate media. No elected official dove into the casing like Dick Durbin.

The guy, as far as I can tell having spent several hours in his company when he needed a photo op with black kids, does not strike to be as impressive as melba toast and has the personality of a dial tone. Dick Durbin is a sausage.

Today SEIU's Comic Book -Progress Illinois - praises Dithering Dick for this bon mot- "BP no longer stands for British Petroleum. It stands for Beyond Patience."
Dithering Dick!!!! Positively Shavian! Clubs and clubbable swains will echo that one!

How about this BP - Before Planned Parenthood ( $$$$$$$) -Durbin was Pro-Life - Better Payday? Brighter Possibilities? Big Payday? Berry Progressive? Before Planned Parenthood; Bought Politicians . . . yeah, that works.
http://www.progressillinois.com/

SEIU owns Durbin, Schakowsky, and so many others. Well they co-own Durbin and Schalowsky and so many others.

SEIU was at one time the old Janitors Union ( Local 25)- The Building Theatres and Amusements Janitor's Local # 25. They had Universal Family Health Care for all union members and their families, before Andy Stern sold off the assets to turn the union into a Marxist Political Action Committee.

This powerful PAC owns columnists and websites and refuses to feed any hand that bites them. Capital Fax has long had a warm and mutually gushing relationship with Progress Illinois and SEIU, as far as I can see.

SEIU is all about power - Gays, Immigrants, Sick Folks, Victimhood Capitalists, and Academics are the spice that flavors sausages like Dick Durbin, Jan Schakowsly and so many others.

No Chicago columnist will ever take on SEIU. However, remember that a Conservative is merely a Liberal who has been mugged. Witness a journalist who witnessed SEIU at their worst and most thuggish:

What's interesting is that SEIU, the nation's second largest union, craves respectability. Just-retired president Andy Stern is an Obama friend and regular White House visitor. He sits on the President's Fiscal Responsibility Commission. He hobnobs with those greedy Wall Street CEOs -- executives much higher-ranking than my neighbor Baer -- at Davos. His union spent $70 million getting Democrats elected in 2008.

In the business community, though, SEIU has a reputation for strong-arm tactics against management, prompting some companies to file suit.

Nina Easton - Fortune Magazine

Andy Stern is part of Blago scandal and also a member of the President's Council on Deficit Reduction.

Gee, call me cynical.

Keeley Smith - Sunny Side of the Street -Best Version Ever~

On The Sunny Side Of The Street lyrics

Dorothy Fields / Jimmy McHugh

Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worry on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
To the sunny side of the street

Can't you hear a pitter-pat
And that happy tune is your step
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade
But now I'm not afraid
This rover crossed over
If I'd never have a cent
I'd be rich as Rockefeller
Going to set my feet
On the sunny side of the street

Herscher, Illinois - Farmer Saved in Grain Elevator Nightmare

Farming is a dangerous livelihood. Several years ago my late wife's uncle was killed in a farming accident in Herscher, Illinois. In my many years in Kankakee County as a high school teacher, I learned to respect and admire the courage and conviction of America's farmers. Many of my colleagues, Jim Frogge, Jerry Krieg, Terry Granger and others were farm boys. I de-tasseled corn and walked beans with them. I have been inside grain elevators and respect the inherent danger of flash fire and worse - the shift of product.

Today, a farmer in Herscher, Illinois was rescued from a grain elevator accident.

May 24, 2010 (HERSCHER, Ill.) (WLS) -- A farmer who was rescued from a grain bin is going to be OK, according to Herscher fire officials.

The farmer became trapped in the bin and surrounded by grain while emptying it. Other farmers and emergency crews from the small town and other community agencies responded. They were able to pull the farmer from the bin.

Herscher officials said they have trained for the situation for many years and that training led to the man's rescue. The man remained awake and talking throughout the ordeal.

He is now being checked out at a local hospital, but is expected to be OK.

Neighboring farmers are helping clean up the grain.

Pudgie the Duchess -Author of Budgie the Helicopter - Who Could Count to £500,000

I am completly charmed and captivated by the Duchess of York's attempted shakedown of the ink-slinger who posed as a capitalist.

There is a mixture of sympathy and horror here in Great Britain for the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, whose financial situation, in her own words, “is under stress.” She was caught on camera by an undercover reporter for the News of the World offering to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for £500,000, which would be approximately $750,000. The reporter who did the sting posed as a businessman.

Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has a lot of business connections. He is the UK’s Special Representative for Trade and Investment. He travels the world meeting royalty, heads of state and businessmen, greasing the wheels for business deals to be done by British companies all over the world, and courting investment here. We followed Prince Andrew on one such trip to North Africa. His position as a member of the royal family does afford him incredible access, which he uses, not for his own enrichment, but to help British business. It is a job, from what we could tell from our contact with the Duke, he takes very seriously.

£500,000? That's all? Passio Domini nostri Jesu Christi!!! Hell, if I was gonna toss the embrace of the Empire and its fine Family of Free-Loaders, I'd ask for a Million - for staters.

Milton's Myopia!

This winsome tale of a winning Fergie, who charmed the pants off of lard ass lay-abouts everywhere, is just another in the jackpot of hits to The Family Royal of Perfidious Albion.

I see a feature-length 3-D animation epic by James Cameron with an anti-Bush subtext and a foot-taping score and libretto by Sir Elton John and the Duchess Her Own Bad Self!

The duchess is the author of children's picture books that featured Budgie a PC little gobshite of a helicopter.

ACLU -Catholics May Not Enter Into Business Agreements -Ed Yohnka

ACLU and American Progressives have hated Catholics and the Catholic Church from the get-go - that's okay; nothing new. However, for the last forty years the American corporate media have sucked- up to the ACLU on every instance of opportunity to impugn Catholics and undermine any all moral authority of the Catholic Church.

Folks still take the sacraments each Sunday and many people continue to convert to the Roman Catholic Faith. Nevertheless, NPR, the newspapers, Public Television ( WTTW) and new internet Progressive flagships like Huffington Post offer the ACLU full forum. Ed Yohnka of ACLU availed himself of an opportunity to make such that the Abortion Industry keeps the dollars flowing to Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, by denying the Catholic Church the right to enter into contracts.

Voila!

In a little reported local move, Resurrection Health Care, a Roman Catholic health system, is seeking to sell two of its suburban Chicago hospitals to the nonsectarian Vanguard Health Systems. As part of the deal, Resurrection has demanded that Vanguard maintain the religiously-based health care restrictions Resurrection instituted when took control of the hospitals a number of years ago--and Vanguard has agreed to do so.

These restrictions are embodied in the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services ("the Directives"), promulgated by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops, and are imposed on all Catholic-owned institutions and the employees who work in those institutions. The Directives prohibit many critical health services--particularly in the area of reproductive health end-of-life care. Under the Directives, patients are denied tubal ligations and vasectomies as well as contraception. In fact, the Directives prohibit many women who have been raped from accessing emergency contraception, which could, if taken promptly, prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Patients' end-of-life wishes are only respected if they are consistent with "Catholic moral teaching." Elective abortions are forbidden, as are abortions that are necessary to preserve the pregnant woman's health. In cases where a pregnant patient's physician believes that she will die if her pregnancy is not immediately terminated, the physician may seek approval from the hospital's ethics committee, who will decide whether the Directives permit termination in that case. Only if that committee allows it, can the life-saving measure be taken.

These restrictions endanger women across the nation . . .

Eddie Boy, women who get abortions are just fine and dandy. Unborn Children? Not so hot.

The Catholic Church will not yield on abortion, as it did not yield on Fascism and Communism. That really puts Progressive panties in a tight twist.

Ed, name ONE istance where the ACLU Ever helped Catholics. Name one Aborted Child, Ed.

Huffington Post, NPR, WTTW, the corporate editorial boards and amoeba spined hacks like Dick Durbin will help you huff and puff about "American Values."

American People know the smell of dead skunk and the themes of the ACLU.

Hey, how about them BlackHawks!
