Whereas Fifty Alderman Voted Unanimously for a False Statement

Citizen Richard M. Daley and Ald. Joe Moore cheeks to jowls.
Alderman Joe Morre (D-49th Ward) is a silly goose. His fois gras ordinance stands as a national laughing stock that eclipsed even Blago in his salad days of infamy.

Here is a false, WHEREAS in Joe Moore's Torture Ban Ordinance -

WHEREAS, former Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge and Chicago police officers under his command tortured scores of African-American men, which resulted in false confessions leading to wrongful convictions and imprisonment; and . . . we get to and shortly.

Not one Chicago Police Officer, let alone Jon Burge, was convicted, let alone proven to have tortured anyone.
Perhaps, Joe might have said," WHEREAS, we the undersigned agree to the firm collective belief that "former Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge and Chicago police officers under his command tortured scores of African-American men, which resulted in false confessions leading to wrongful convictions and imprisonment," but that might not be chilling enough to inspire genuine citizen resolve to hang torture-ers and systemic racists universal!

Instead.

Jon Burge went to jail because of a slick legal maze created by Flint Taylor and used by the Feds under Fitzgerald.

Perjury Conviction - Yep.

Torture Convictions -Zero.

Therefore, WHEREAS Above as presented and voted upon is false, misleading, disembling, and nevertheless accepted.
Whicj leads us to "and WHEREAS" -

WHEREAS, the City of Chicago and its taxpayers have paid and continue to pay millions of dollars to defend lawsuits arising from those torturous acts;
and

Whereas, drop the nonsense, save the taxpayers some nickels and do some actual work.

At the end of the 19th Century, a French Army Officer was sent to Devil's Island, because Everyone Knew He Was Guilty. His wrongful imprisonment was overturned. I wonder if the Center for Wrongful Convictions might not want to look into Jon Burge's Federal Perjury Conviction, because there are ralroad tracks all over the place.

Jon Burge and Wrongful, Hurtful, Race-ful Law Enforcement we shall have with us always, because there is too much money for pettifogging Cadillac Commies at stake.

City Council Unanimously Votes Ban On Torture -Another Meaningless Bit of Self-Puffery by 50 Needy People

Sister Benita Coffey and the Coalitions she represents.

This morning, Chicago Tribune's opinion page featured another in the endless shower of Police Torture screeds. This was written by Bendictine Sister Benita Coffey and has all of the value of a Confederate $100 Bill.

Here is a taste:

Last week, the Chicago City Council unanimously passed a resolution against torture, a symbolic act, at best. Torture is inhumane, banned by the United Nations and most civilized nations, and is contrary to the core beliefs of the world's major religions.

So why are the National Religious Campaign Against Torture, the Illinois Coalition Against Torture and religious communities like mine lauding this as a historic event? We shouldn't have had to ask our elected officials to pass legislation proscribing torture. It seems to be basic common sense, instinctive human behavior to abhor torture. To inflict cruel and inhuman treatment is beneath us as human beings.

While applauding our city's leaders for making Chicago the first city in the nation to condemn torture, we are certainly not seeing our goal anywhere near being accomplished. This is one deliberate and necessary step. It will indeed be a long road to raise the consciousness of the general public that torture is a reality; it is happening and likely will continue until we demand that it stop.

If memory serves, Sister, Jesus joined no Coalition. Plenty of torture going around, his cousin got himself beheaded and all, but Jesus never signed up with the Sicarri, or Zealots, in their Coalition Against The Stooge Puppet King Herod and Roman Imperialists Masters and Crucifiers. Like Free Mumia, I recall that the crowd that demanded Jesus get a tune-up by the cohort prior to crucifixion, demanded Free Barabbas! Now, those folks were committed activists, Sister.

Sister decries the fact that the media paid not enough attention to her and the various coalitions. Sister, we have more Coalitions than Mount Carmel has football championship trophies and yet kids are murdered with impunity because lawyers get fat overturning convictions on meme that police torture, lie, intimidate and use saracasm.

Sister Benita Burge's Up -
The day also presented the opportunity for us to address another type of torture — prolonged solitary confinement. In Illinois, the Tamms Correctional Center is a supermax facility that incarcerates inmates in solitary confinement, often for months or years at a time, which mental health professionals define as torture. Here in Chicago, to our shame, former Chicago police Cmdr. Jon Burge and officers under him tortured some 200 suspects to the point of confessing to crimes they did not commit. These victims were imprisoned while most of those who tortured, except Burge, who was convicted of a related crime, remain free.

Mental Health professionals? Incarceration of crazy thugs is torture - health care provided, educational opportunities abound, legal access to Lawsuit Lotto Lawyers, no to mention shelter, meals, and wardrobe; unlike the victims of these thugs, incarcerated under dirt until Judgement Day.

Sister Benita brings it home to Council and the Coalitions -This resolution declaring Chicago a torture-free city is a momentous occasion. We can be proud that our City Council can be called on to stand by its word and demand accountability if such violent treatment should ever again occur.

Sorry Sister, this is but another sanctimoniously meaningless bit of self-puffering from 50 people doing nothing meaningful, Sister.

Jon Burge was convicted of perjury after years of media bear-baiting and legal legerdemain.

G. Flint Taylor and legions of other fatuous opportunists have made fortunes by playing media, do-gooders and generations of young people completely unaquainted with the facts of the murders, arrests, convictions and subsequent judge shopping by Peoples Law Office, MacArthur Center for Justice, Loevy & Loevy.

There has been absolutely no proof of torture - hundreds of allegations and millions of dollars in payouts -but not one win in G.Flint Taylor's column.

Jon Burge was trapped in a legal maze created by time, judge shopping, media complicity and collective memory loss.

When torture appears, deal with it. That has yet to be proven. Truth is not something "We Can All Agree Upon." That is John Dewey.

There is much to pray for, Sister. Good people are up to their elbows helping young people read, write, add and subtract and somehow know that other people want to help them without lining their own pockets.

Praising a hollow and popular gesture like this means nothing and actually keeps the problems on our streets more than healthy. By the way, schools need teachers. I have not seen a nun here at Leo High School, in the heart Chicago's killing fields, in years. Facta Non Verba.

N. B. - do read Gregory Koger one of Sister Benita's Coalition Guys.

Here is Sister Benita's coalition pal's coda-“What the bourgeoisie therefore produces, above all, are its own grave-diggers.”—Karl Marx

And his Mission Statement:
The world today cries out for radical, fundamental change. . .
But the cruelest fact of all is this: IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY! For here is the glaring contradiction: in today’s world the production of things, and the distribution of the things produced, is overwhelmingly carried out by large numbers of people who work collectively and are organized in highly coordinated networks. At the foundation of this whole process is the proletariat, an international class which owns nothing, yet has created and works these massive socialized productive forces. These tremendous productive powers could enable humanity to not only meet the basic needs of every person on the planet, but to build a new society, with a whole different set of social relations and values…a society where all people could truly and fully flourish together.

—Constitution of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA

Here are the City Council Coalitions, Speakers and Advocates:
Speakers at the press conference and hearing included: Congressman Danny Davis; Flint Taylor, attorney with the People’s Law Office who has been instrumental in seeking justice for the men tortured by Chicago police commander John Burge; Dr. Frank Summers, psychologist who lead the fight within the APA to bar psychologists from participating in interrogations and torture in Guantanamo; Cherif Bassiouni, United Nations war crimes expert; Melinda Power and Margaret Power, Illinois Coalition Against Torture; Mary Lynn Everson, Marjorie Kovler Center; Sr. Benita Coffey, representing the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT); Laurie Jo Reynolds, activist with Tamms Year Ten; Mario Venegas, Chilean survivor of torture under Pinochet; Mark Clements, Burge torture survivor; Mary L. Johnson, mother of a Burge torture victim and inmate at Tamms Correctional Center, as well as several other mothers of Burge torture survivors; and Wallace “Gator” Bradley, who spoke to the use of torture in the federal ADX supermax prison.

G. Flint Taylor, Jon Loevy and Locke Bowman Set to Sue Braidwood House of Barks?

The Dog is a Pig, Man!

John Conroy will have an illustrated Children's Book ( Graphic Golden Book) detailing the horrors of Atom - the canine Jon Burge - who learned his techniques in 'Nam and bit testicles.

Every ambulance chasing Commie in Illinois must have morally indignant wood in their Dad 'N Lads.

Will Gator Bradley be an Urban Dog Whisperer?

Police dog fired for brutality

Two incidents of aggression cost him his job on the Braidwood Police Department, despite a petition signed by 403 people and public pleas asking the Braidwood City Council to reinstate him.

But the city just couldn’t stand for police brutality. Even if it did come from a dog.

The city ordered canine officer Atom into retirement, which he’ll spend at the home of his handler, Officer Doug Savarino.

City Attorney Scott Pyles said Atom cost the city $300,000 in settlements.

The dog, who joined the department in 2006, attacked a man who was already apprehended for a traffic stop and was not resisting. In a separate incident, he attacked an Illinois Conservation Police officer during a search for a suspect, Pyles said.

“We had to take some action,” Pyles said.

Mayor Bill Rulien said the department is bringing on a new dog, Neutron, but he is trained as a drug-sniffing dog, and has not been trained to attack, Rulien said.

“He will find drugs but not eat people,” Rulien said.

Giggle not.

Wierd is the new normal.

Class Warfare 2011 -An Inverted Fun-House Mirror of Genuine Class Warfare 1900

Class Warrior 2011 -Killing the Middle Class
Class Warrior 1900 -Giving Life to a Middle Class

Class Warfare? It might be. Rather, I see it as a masquerade of wanna-bees like porky film-maker and plutocrat Michael Moore doing a Big Bill Waywood imitation in Madison, Wisconsin last winter.

Movies need funding, especially documentary films. One must go where the money hides.

I am re-reading a wonderful book, Big Trouble: A Murder in a Small Western Town Sets Off a Struggle for the Soul of America published in 1998 and written by the late J. Anthony Lukas. Lukas wrote a brilliant study of the Boston Desegregation atrocity in the Boston Public School system - Common Ground in 1986. I read that book while I was teaching in Kankakee, IL. Bishop McNamara High School was beset by a down-turn in enrollment due to the closing of industries in the late 1970's. The school attempted an innovative restructure of tuition payment for struggling families - Negotiated Tuition. It worked for a couple of years and then the economy righted itself and Kankakee went from light industry to service industry. Common Ground studied three families - two white and one African American; two urban matriarchies ( one white and one African American) and one two-parent family of affluent suburban Liberals.

I was in Lake Forest, Il one day a year or so back and there was a street festival. A Huge banner proclaimed 'We Celebrate Diversity!' The streets seemed packed with Laplanders. Nary a dusky hued person celebrating diversity among the well-heeled caucasians.

Here is a review of that book -

As one who actually lived through these terrible, terrible times in Boston, this book is one of the only pieces of journalism that doesn't portray white, working class Boston as the bad, ugly racists, but rather shows that the children of Boston were used as pawns by well-heeled suburbanites and a lofty judge who walked away and then pointed the finger. It was always, always about class and not race and the whole busing debacle nearly ruined a great American city. Stopping the desegregation at the City limits was the biggest mistake ever made and the people of Boston simply refused to abide by it. Sure, people were accused of being racist and certainly some ugly things happened, but to act as though discrimination ended at the borders of Boston was ridiculous, which is now acknowledged. Hopefully the suburbs will not be let off the hook again.

There is one negative review that reads like an MSNBC commentary among the 21 Five Star ratings for the work.

Lukas, committed suicide shortly before Big Trouble was published. It is said that he set impossibly high standards for himself as a journalist. That is a problem that evades too many names on the Media mastheads these days.

Big Trouble weaves around the story of the assassination of former Idaho Governor Frank Steunenberg who had called in Federal troops to put down a strike at the Coeur d'Alene mining district in 1899.

A man named Orchard was arrested and charged with the crime. The Mining interests called in the Pinkertons and special agent James McPartland, the man who befriended the coal miners association known as the Molly Maguires and rigged their hangings, orchestrated to have Orchard placed on Death row without a trial.

In no times at all, following threats and bribes, McPartland and the Pinkertons obtained a 64 page confession by Orchard that included at least 17 other murders at the orders of the United Federation of Miners (UFM) a very radical union led by Marxist Bill (Big Bill) Haywood*. Haywood and two other union leaders were illegally extradited to Idaho from Colorado on forged papers - drafted by the energetic McPartland.

James McPartland was the G. Flint Taylor of his day. Jon Burge, the police officer tagged with hundreds and soon to be thousands of police torture incidents, required an energetic Class Warrior of post-racial age. For thirty years, G. Flint Taylor, like James McPartland the century before, has patiently and energetically shopped judges, journalists and juries and managed to have Burge convicted, not on torture, but perjury.

Lukas, in Big Trouble, painstakingly presents the facts about the last Turn-of-the-Century Class Warfare. At that time, there was virtually no middle class. There were owners and there were workers. In order to keep workers from the middle class, the Capitalists and Ruling Brahmin Class exercised power politics over the Laws and the people.

Today, the Ruling Class is evaporating the American Middle Class. The class warriors then and now face one another in a crazy-house mirror reflecting Hegelian power.

Like the Boston Desegregation fiasco - the ruling elites pitted black against white working classes and coated the narrative with the dismissive charge of racism. Southie Irish Catholic racists, like their ethnic counterparts in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Detroit are not worth considering. Very much like Tea Party people.

Lukas burst that balloon.

In 1904 there were very few African Americans living in Chicago. Some of those black skinned Americans lived next door to Irish, Lithuanian, Czech, German and Polish folks in the Stockyard region. In the summer of 1904 there was long and deadly strike by the Amalgamated Meat Cutters. You will find almost nothing about that strike on the Web these days. Companies were formed by people like Frank Curry of St. Louis to bring strikebreakers into cities where labor unrest erupted.

Upton Sinclair happened to be writing a story about the 1886 strike by the Knights of Labor in the Stockyards and he spent the early days of the summer of 1904 on the steps of black-listed Knight of Labor strike-leader John Joyce. That tale was never written. Upton Sinclair witnessed a huge strike himself and wrote about a Lithuanian meat-cutter who yelled to car loads of African Americans brought into Chicago by the likes of Curry as strike breakers -" It's not your skin! It's your Scabbing!"

Like McPartland, modern activists have succeeded in tagging Class War as meat and racism as its gravy. J. Anthony Lukas is not with us to make clear the issues and the personalities. The journolistas today operate according to a template provided by their benefactors.

White is Black and Black is Purple, if SEIU Mandarin Andy Stern says it is so.

Chicago cop Jon Burge tortured young black men 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Everyone knows that! If you do not know that fact you are hater, racist idiot.

Taxing billions-aires means taxing familes making $250,000.

Reading about a 1905 set-up to keep workers from attaining American middle class status makes sense of that same Class terminating the Middle Class. Warren Buffet will be fine. The husband and wife who use their college degrees and work long hours to gross $ 250,000 annually are in Big Trouble.

Click my post title and read Lukas's books.

* Big Bill Haywood went to the Soviet Union and worked for Lenin and later Joe Stalin, with whom he fell from grace. Big Bill died of alcoholism related maladies in a Moscow hosptial. Half of his ashes were scattered at Haymarket.

Chicago's Networked Activists Say, "Bring The Kids! The G-8 Riots Will Be Great!"

Your Bush 4 Defendants:GLN's Buddy Bell, Jeff Pickert, Kevin Clark and GLN's Andy Thayer will back for the G-8 Riots! Bring the Kids!

I have a dash above room temperature I.Q. - I think the tests were racist, or skewed against my cultural background. That said, I know that the media ignores whom they wish to ignore.

Pit bulls like Tim Novak of the Chicago Sun Times will dig their incisors into the rumps of 'bullet-proof' kin to powerful politicians. That is all good. Tim Novak is the absolute best and most honest of newsmen. He is interested in getting to the root causes of corruption. Novak is on the Daley/Davis real estate bonanza, as well as other crimes and misdemeanors of the nepotists.

However, no Chicago journalist ever bothers to connect the dots on the thick network of activists whose fibers form a Gordian knot of lucrative activism via academia, 501 (c) 3's, radical terrorism, public service PACs like SEIU, the media, lawsuit lotto lawyers, Brahmin agendas: Gay, Anti-War, Hamas, Cop Brutality (real and mostly imagined, Poverty Pimping, and tax-increase legislation.

Kevin Clark - a leader of the highly dicey International Solidarity Movement is also a Gay Liberation Activist who happens to work closely with self-proclaimed Catholic Anti-war activists, Hamas, and was the man who helped guide the late Rachel Corrie into the path of an Israeli Defence Force bulldozer. Clark led suits and protests against Peoria based Caterpillar for building bulldozers. Clark also spearheaded the Gaza Flotilla activism and the attack on Cardinal George one Easter Sunday a few years ago again using kids to do his work -Catholic Schoolgirls Against the War.

Then there is the ubiquitous Andy Thayer whose commercial challenged young would be Bolsheviks with his Thee You in the Threeth before blocking traffic and getting the challenged arrethted. That great Marilyn Katz-like video and so many others have been scrubbed on You Tube. You may remember it from 2003, a parade of earnest radicals in motorcycle helmets urged us all to See Them in the Street. Wasn't that a time, to paraphrase the Methuselah of Red Pete Seeger? Well here's activist Andy:

Andy, like the smarmy Clark, happens to be a Gay Liberation Activist which is nice, but he also works with Lawsuit Lotto Lawyer Jon Loevy who has made millions of dollars bringing suit against any and all law enforcement for any reason.

There also a parade of feminists nuns who shill for abortion and manage to wheedle money under the guise of charity who help the activists get gigs with Ariana Huffington, face time on WTTW and a pass from breaking the laws.

SEIU Joe Iosbaker has had a year of playing at Haymarket Martyr thanks to an FBI raid over his labors on behalf of Hamas. Joe wants Chicagoans to think of the G-* summit as a latter-day Republic Steel picnic (1937). Bring the kids in strollers and maybe the Bulls, not the team, but the old-timey Red handle for cops, will light up a few babies, when provoked by the Soul-Patched Knit-Hat Che T-shirt dweebs. " Cool Bix! Light the tires under Viaduct! Seatle!"

I believe ex- Professor Dave Protess has the bus wheel marks all over the back of his Brooks Brothers Oxford shirt, more because he shed light on the network of wealthy radical enterprises - I wonder way Professor of Law and Can't Practice Law NU's Bernardin Dohrn, who took a trip to Eygpt in solidarity just before the Gaza Flotilla disaster and the soapy Arab Spring, has not stood in solidarity with the Fagin of the Innocence Project? I know Chicago's supine media is not wondering the same thing.

The same clowns and posers, Andy, Kev, Joe, Sister Mary Forceps and their familiars, are there when trouble gets planned and never called on it.

The same geniuses vet our elected officials from White House on down to Commissioner of Side-walk safety.

Chicago activist Joe Iosbaker, who helped organize the RNC protests in 2008 and whose home was raided by FBI agents last October, said he applied for permits to hold demonstrations in Daley Plaza and Federal Plaza downtown the day the White House announced the city would host the summits.

So far, he has not heard anything about the status of the permits from the county about using Daley Plaza or the agency that controls Federal Plaza. City officials also have said organizers will not be able to apply for a permit for a planned march through the city until the first of the year, Iosbaker said.

“They told me they would get back to me in two weeks to let me know at least that we were in the process of getting the permit,” Iosbaker said. “That was nine weeks ago.”

Local activist Andy Thayer said demonstrations will be peaceful, despite a recent statement by police Superintendent Garry McCarthy that the department is preparing for “mass arrests” of protesters during the summit.

The remarks were especially galling given Chicago's mixed history of dealing with large demonstrations, Thayer said. Police in 2003 arrested about 900 people who marched to protest the start of the Iraq war, with some protesters held for up to 36 hours. The arrests prompted a class-action lawsuit, Thayer said.

“Statements like that from McCarthy have a chilling effect,” he said. “The city has a history of attacks on civil rights.”

Iosbaker noted that events like the G8 and World Trade Organization summits have seen some violence in their host cities. Iosbaker attributed the clashes to aggressive police, and said his group is planning to do nothing to disrupt the city or the conferences.

“What we want is a safe, permitted, legal protest,” Iosbaker said. “Something that parents feel safe bringing their babies in strollers to, and we want our voice to be heard.”

Should be a great outing for the whole family,Joe. Let us know how that all works out.

Chicago IndyMedia is a great place to see all these folks in a very postive light. Doing so would put me off my feed, but that's just me.

Kevin Clark recently returned to Chicago from serving as a human shield in the Israeli occupied territories as part of the International Solidarity Movement. In light of the killing of ISM member Rachel Corrie of Washington State, the shootings Brian Avery from New Mexico and Tom Hurndall of Great Britain, Clark describes daily life in Palestine and the brutality and dangers that Palestinians and ISM workers face every day. (article 2)
Andy Thayer is co-founder of the Gay Liberation Network (www.GayLiberation.net), a Chicago-based LGBT direct action group which has been a local leader in gay rights, anti-police brutality and anti-war organizing. As a leader in the local anti-war movement, he's helped organize most of the city's large anti-war protests for the last several years, including a march of 15,000 on Lake Shore Drive at the start of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. He's been arrested numerous times in various protests and was recently found not guilty of two felony counts from a January 2008 protest against the Chicago visit of President Bush. Last May he was among 30 LGBT activists arrested in the 4th annual gay pride demonstration in Moscow, Russia.

Chatham's Edward Alexander Tunes-up Our Later Day Yummy Sandifer

“From his hospital bed Friday, the retired probation officer of 32 years says he has no regrets.

You’ve got to make a stand one way or the other in life,” he said from his room at Advocate Trinity Hospital. “And if you don’t you’ll be run over.”

It happened in a flash.

“This gentleman comes around 81st Street, he said, ‘Give it up,’ and put a gun to my stomach,” said Alexander, who took a swipe at the man’s gun-wielding hand.

The bullet went clean through Alexander’s left leg at around the same time he landed a blow square in the robber’s jaw.

“He stumbled and went off running,” Alexander said, noting that he didn’t immediately realize he was shot. “That’s a thing you don’t have happen often. You can’t prepare for it.”

The suspect then ran to a car parked nearby, where he and a driver fled north on the Dan Ryan Expressway, police said.

The robber didn’t get away with any cash. But neighbors say what Alexander went through is part of a broader rise in Chatham crime that has picked up over the years.
God Bless You, Mr. Alexander!

Last week, an elderly gentlemen who works on the buses at Leo High School confronted a bust-out thug as the crumb rifled through one of the buses at the end of the working day. There was a scuffle and the mechanic, whom I will not name, had gotten the better of young Felonius Punk. The punk managed to get his cowardly mitts on a chunk of concrete and beat Leo's motor pool wrangler several times in the head. Leo's football coach and several varsity players burst out of the school and the thug beat it south on Sangamon.

The elderly working man is hospitalized at Christ Advocate in Oak Lawn and thanks to Mike Holmes and the Leo Men Gresham (6th District) police identified the thug.

Yesterday, Edward Alexander, 82 was watering his lawn when a bust-out thug stuck a gun in his belly and ordered Mr. Alexander to 'Give it Up!' Sounds good on Law and Order and bad movies, but it translated differently to Edward Alexander, 83 a home owner working man in the Chatham neighborhood. 'Give it up!' was prelude to a solid punch in the chops.

Sadly, our later-day Yummie Sandifer got off a stray round that hit Mr. Alexander in the leg. Mr. Edward Alexander, like Leo's Bus mechanic, is an elderly, proud working man with gallons of proud testosterone. Thugs are not born, they are made. They are made by excuses and entitled do any thing that they damn well please.

The punks are armed and the media has been doing their press and public relations in Chicago for decades. Remember Yummie Sandifer?

The late Yummie Sandifer was the template for players, bust-outs, thugs, dope-slingers, rapists, and thieves who all manage to have family albums filled with mug shots ( witness last weeks Chicago River Bridge Miracle Baby Boy who took one in the head from a member of his own fraternity. The News media featured only the hospitalized cranial marvel's mugshot from one of his more recent arrests).

The American media, following the journalistic dance steps of our geniuses of the Chicago Media, crafted a template equating a useless gene-pool to a social icon. In the 1930's Communist naturalist novelist created Bigger Thomas in Native Son and our lesser talented journalists gave us Yummie Sandifer with his very own posthumous Wikipedia entry.

Robert "Yummy" Sandifer (March 12, 1983 — September 1, 1994) garnered national attention in September 1994 after his murder by fellow gang members in Chicago, Illinois.[1][2][3][4] He appeared on the cover of TIME magazine in September 1994.[5]
Nicknamed Yummy because of his love of junk food, Sandifer was a young member of the street gang the Black Disciples. After committing murder, arson and armed robbery, he was executed by fellow gang members who feared he could be turned snitch. Coverage of Sandifer's death and retrospectives on his short, violent life were widely published in the American media, and Sandifer became a symbol of the gang problem in American inner cities, the failure of social safety netting, and the shortcomings of the juvenile justice system.

Early life

Yummy's mother was a prostitute and a crack cocaine addict who had her first son at age 15. Yummy was a victim of abuse from an early age, and was sent to live with his grandmother by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) after one of his brothers, Victor, went blind from a neglected eye infection. His grandmother's residence contained as many as 19 children on some occasions. Sandifer, at age 8, quit regularly attending school and took to the streets stealing cars and breaking into houses. The year before his death he was removed to a DCFS shelter on Chicago's north side, which he ran away from.
[edit]Criminal behavior

Yummy was known for bullying and extorting money from local children and the community in the Chicago neighborhood of Roseland. He liked luxury cars such as Lincolns and Cadillacs and, remarkably, was able to drive them despite his small stature (he was still beneath the height limit for many of the rides at nearby amusement park Six Flags Great America). Many of his 23 felonies and 5 misdemeanors were committed in the course of running errands for street gangs. The penal system had no way to keep him out of trouble and the courts were helpless to lock him away because he was too young for juvenile detention and too dangerous to be placed with children his age.[citation needed]
[edit]Homicide

On August 28, 1994, Yummy walked up to 15-year-old Kianta Britten and asked him to which gang he belonged. Kianta responded that he did not belong to any gang, and Yummy opened fire on him with a semiautomatic pistol, hitting him in the stomach with one bullet and also catching a nerve with another bullet leaving Britten partially paralyzed. Later on that same day, Yummy shot at some rival gang members. One stray bullet hit Shavon Dean in the head and killed her as she walked home from a friend's house.
For the next three days, gang members from the Black Disciples kept Yummy on the move, evading the police investigation of the shootings. Yummy was last seen by a neighbor on August 31, waiting for his grandmother to pick him up, but instead two brothers (14 and 16 years of age [Derrick and Cragg Hardaway]) from his gang arrived. Telling him they were going to take him out of the city, he was brought to a viaduct underpass and executed. He was found later in a muddy pool of blood with two gunshot wounds in the head.
[edit]

Yummy was on the cover of Time Magazine and has his own posthumous bibliography.

Yummy had a smile that could light up a room is the working media template and our racist society is the only reason this useless little monster was hogging oxygen from 1983-1994. In reality, all Yummy cared about was a Glock that could light up everyone in a room.

Commie Lawsuit Lotto Lawyer G.Flint Taylor continues to amass a fortune with his cadre of convicted Yummies. The media have helped lazy, shiftless, self-indulgent, careless alcohol and drug dependent entitlement Mommas become community activists when their Yummies pull a 9 on the cops. The police and the courts and working people like Mr. Edward Alexander become the targets of lawsuit lotto lawyers, for trying to defend themselves.

The media provides an endless buffet of bullshit and thugs have the freedom of the city.

Thank God for working men like Edward Alexander of Chatham. At least Mr. Alexander got in a good one. I sure hope that Lawsuit Lotto Lawyer Jon Loevy has not taken up the cause of the louse that Mr. Alexander punched in the chops, because Mr. Alexander was, after all "a retired probation officer."

Pulitzer Prize Winning Newsman William Crawford Seems to Have the Progressive "Justice" Industry Squirming

Ever since the Mumia/Burge/Innocence/Gotcha Medill/Lawsuit Lotto Lawyer collective began charging police officers, City, County, State and Federal Justice Systems with systemic race-based torture, false prosecution and intimidation via editorial board, no newsman has ever questioned the roots of the conglomerate formed to challenge arrests, investigations, prosecutions and incarcerations of career murderers, gang-bangers, arsonists and felons. Until now.

A conglomerate consisting of University based foundations like the MacArthur Center for Justice, the Center for Wrongful Convictions, the Medill School of Journalism, the Innocence Project, lawyers like G. Flint Taylor and Jon Loevy, the editorial boards of the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times and iconic columnists have fed off of one anothers input, assent and agendas to undermine any and all confidence in American Justice and Law Enforcement and made millions of dollars for lawyers and their convicted felon clientele. They have exacted millions of dollars from tax-payers via settlements and judgments.

The Jon Burge saga was crafted over three decades of constant drum beats of electric shock, suffocations, burnings, beatings and games of Russian roulette upon black men. However no court has convicted any police officer for torture. Jon Burge was convicted of perjury after years of legal three-card-monte by G. Flint Taylor. The MacArthur Center for Justice's Locke Bowman* who was wildly unsuccessful in tagging Cook County Sheriff Michael Sheahan with torture charges, contributes a regular screed about Police racism, torture, abuse, intimidation and official cover-ups in the daffy pages of Chicago Huffington Post.

Now the onion seems to be getting peeled. Innocence Project Leader Prof. David Protess is exiled from the Medill classroom over charges of ethics violations and manipulation of student methods. One of David Protess's celebrated clients,Anthony Porter is the subject of William B. Crawford's investigation entitled Chimera.

The Chicago Reader, which for thirty years touted the contributions of John Conroy, if not the the Ahab of Jon Burge, certainly the harpoon tossed by G. Flint Taylor of the Peoples Law Office, offers the work of William Crawford for public reading:

William Crawford is a retired 1973 Pulitzer Prize winning Chicago Tribune investigative newsman. For the last few years, Mr. Crawford has studied the

Last month Northwestern accused Protess of repeatedly giving "false and misleading information" to university lawyers who were trying to deal with a subpoena from the Cook County State's Attorney's Office for certain Innocence Project documents. Dean John Lavine suspended Protess from teaching this quarter and then Protess went on leave to try to reestablish a new Innocence Project outside the university.

Besides Protess's troubles, Sotos has one more thing going for him he didn't have in 2006—an analysis of the Porter/Simon case by William Crawford, a retired Tribune investigative reporter. Crawford tells me he heard about the case, asked Sotos if he could look through the files, and wound up spending three months compiling a hundred-page narrative he calls "Chimera." He's e-mailed it to everyone in Chicago he thinks might possibly care—particularly journalists and Medill faculty. "Our purpose here," Crawford begins, is "to set the record straight [and] get that record in front of those men and women, in private and public office, who are in a position to begin at once the task of righting the colossal wrong that has taken place."

Crawford was able to get Sotos and himself a meeting this week with Bruce Dold, the head of the Tribune's editorial board. (" I can't say if we'll do anything with his research," says Dold.) Other than that—and, I suppose, the column you're reading now—he appears to have accomplished nothing and possibly done Simon harm.

Crawford did an "extraordinary job" of putting the case record into narrative form, Sotos tells me, yet "the level of abrasiveness he brings is counterproductive."

The most flagrant example of that abrasiveness I've seen is an e-mail Crawford sent John Lavine badgering him for a response to "Chimera." Crawford tells me neither Lavine nor Al Cubbage, Northwestern's vice president for university relations, reacted to repeated e-mails until Cubbage finally asked Crawford to leave him alone. Full of typos, Crawford's final e-mail to Lavine ended with this:

"You have a good night. And I will be in that courtroom when you take the shirt off your back and give it to Alstory. And you tell Protess, who threatened me, you tell him, not in your words but in mine that I will kick his ass right up through the openings in both his ear.s [sic]

"My writing, has been sent everywhere: U.s. atty., Madigan, cook county state's attorye, justice department, every editorial writer. It ain't going away. And again, my amigo will own you and your dip shit school."

Crawford admits, "I guess I got a little pissed. If they think they can sit in their ivory tower ten years later and not even acknowledge I'm asking legitimate questions, they're dealing with the wrong person. I'm going to employ the same set of standards they used."

Lavine didn't respond to my request for comment. Cubbage said "Chimera" had no impact on the university's case against Protess, and he personally didn't read it.

Crawford has also repeatedly e-mailed Protess. In March, Crawford spotted an unflattering story about Protess in the Tribune and decided to needle him. "I didn't get a copy of the Tribune this morning. May I borrow yours?" Crawford wrote. Protess responded, "Sure. Which address would you like to have Anthony Porter and his friends deliver it to?" and listed several addresses where Crawford has lived or worked—a flourish Crawford believes was meant to intimidate him.

Exclaims Crawford: "He spends 90 days convincing the world Porter is innocent, and when Protess seeks to exact revenge, it is Porter he is going to send!"

Protess calls his e-mail merely a "jocular counter punch" to a "creepy" e-mail Crawford had sent him a few days earlier:

Professor,

Question: You ever own a 94 Forest Green Infinity, four door, LP Lyd880

Have a nice night.

Call me, Sapphire, cuz the discovery is going to begin.

Protess says that after seeing the "physical threats" made in Crawford's e-mail to Lavine, he stopped responding to him.

Crawford tells me he actually regards Protess as a secondary figure in the Alstory Simon story. "Chimera" is a tale full of big shots—lawyers, state's attorneys, judges—who Crawford says collectively perfumed Porter and screwed Simon, and he wants them all held accountable. He even says his fear is that Protess has been so weakened by Medill that he will wind up taking the fall alone. "My guess is they can make a sacrificial lamb out of him and then stand up and tell the world, 'We've cured the cancer.'"

Since, according to Crawford, I was the only journalist to actually read his report and get in touch with him, he had high hopes that I'd become his champion. When I asked about his e-mails he sounded forlorn, as if his last shot at making a difference was slipping away. He responded with an e-mail that began, "A final appeal."

"I ask that your story does not become my e-mails. . . " he wrote. "Everyone has a copy of my report. They are all sitting on it, pretending it doesn't exist. And if no one acknowledges it, the hope is it will go away. . .

"I ask you on behalf of a man who deserves rehearing, please keep him in mind. . . . Please do not make Simon pay for my indiscretions."

As for Simon, if there's even half as much reason to think he confessed falsely (as Crawford and Sotos insist there is), he'd make an excellent case study for Protess's Innocent Project. Indeed, says Protess, "I was so interested in Sotos's claim that I had lunch at Ina's with him and [cocounsel] Terry Ekl to hear their side. Their story ultimately didn't add up, and a criminal courts judge agreed."

Sotos remembers the conversation. "We told him we thought in his zeal to free Anthony Porter—which was laudable, they didn't have that strong a case against him originally. They snared an innocent person. He got really defensive."

It is clear that the conglomerate of Progressive Justice Crusaders is squirming.

Keep peeling this onion, Mr. Crawford.

Time and Truth Will Out - Burge is Sentenced Harshly, But Flint Taylor Will Take the Fall.

I was thirty years old when the Wilson brothers assassinated Officers Fahey and O'Brien - it was in February, 1982 and took place two blocks from Leo High School. Only days before another Chicago Police Officer was murdered - Fahey and O'Brien were returning from Officer Doyle's funeral, I believe. I know Fahey's brothers. I am now 58 years old and former Commander Jon Burge has been sentenced well-above the Federal Maximum standard for perjury and obstruction of Justice by Judge Joan Lefkow,

Jon Burge was known as a 'stand-up' cop and Commander. I know officers who served with and for Jon Burge - none of them have been in any way implicated in the alleged torture of criminals.

I have followed this Gordian Knot of rhetoric, legal legerdemain, and orchestration of the Media, politicians and the public, as a teacher in Kankakee, Indiana and Chicago. The most vocal and vociferous "Get Burge" voices that I have encountered belong to people unborn at the time that Officers Fahey and O'Brien were assassinated and urinated upon by the brothers Wilson. Those voices ape the script prepared by G. Flint Taylor, legal bottom feeder and arch-manipulator of lazy and self-satisfied media people. G. Flint Taylor, it seems to me, has patiently albeit obnoxiously pulled all of the strings in this Gordian Knot - wrapped in the core is the truth.

I believe that in years to come, the truth will out, as it always must. Jon Burge stood up in court and took his sentence. Unlike the judge who went over and above the sentencing guidelines in order to placate a public gorged and sated by the endless rhetorical stuffings by G. Flint Taylor, I do not believe that Jon Burge engineered systemic torture of African Americans.

This I do know - two men were assassinated*, Jon Burge caught their killers and G. Flint Taylor made millions of dollars by undermining any and all confidence in Law.

Truth will out. G. Flint Taylor will overplay his hand and the court documents suppressed over the last three decades at Taylor's demand will surface. I also believe that the career criminals that he has enriched and made into media props will want more from Taylor and Taylor does not give. Ask Gator Bradley.

Time and truth.

Patrolman William P. Fahey
Chicago Police Department
Illinois
End of Watch: Wednesday, February 10, 1982

Biographical Info
Age: 34
Tour of Duty: 12 years
Badge Number: 4194

Incident Details
Cause of Death: Gunfire
Date of Incident: Tuesday, February 9, 1982
Weapon Used: Handgun; .357 caliber
Suspect Info: Death Sentence. Commuted

Patrolmen William P. Fahey and Richard J. O'Brien were gunned down during a traffic stop.

Hours after attending the funeral of fellow officer James Doyle, Officers Fahey and O’Brien made a traffic stop. At 2:00 p.m., Fahey and O’Brien observed a late model Chevrolet go through a red light at 81st and Morgan Streets.

Patrolman Richard O’Brien, who was driving the squad car, approached the driver’s side of the car while Officer William Fahey approached the passenger side. Officer Fahey ordered the passenger out and patted him down for a weapon. As he was attempting to handcuff the passenger, the suspect gained control of Fahey’s .357 Magnum revolver, whirled around and fired at close range. The bullet struck William Fahey behind the left ear.

The assailant swung and fired a shot across the trunk of the car, firing two shots point-blank at Officer Richard O’Brien, striking him in the left arm and left hip. One of the men in the vehicle then disarmed O’Brien and the duo fled the scene

Help was first summoned to the scene when a voice was heard over the police radio system: “Emergency! Emergency! Two policemen have been shot at 81st and Morgan”. It was later learned to be the voice of a witness to the shooting who ran to the squad car and grabbed the microphone when he saw the officers fall.

Patrolman O’Brien died a short time after the shooting at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park. Patrolman William Fahey died the following morning at 11:14 a.m. without regaining consciousness.

Both officers were assigned to the Gang Crimes South Unit however, they were not regular partners. O’Brien’s regular partner was off sick, and Fahey’s was filling in on a desk job for a furloughed policeman.

Patrolman William P. Fahey was a 10-year veteran of the department. During his tenure, he received 19 honorable mentions and numerous letters of appreciation. He is survived by his wife and three children.

The funeral mass for Patrolman Fahey was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13th in Queen of the Universe Catholic Church at 7130 South Hamlin Avenue.

The killers were apprehended, convicted and sentenced to death. On January 10, 2003, the governor at the time, George Ryan commuted their sentences, along with those of all 164 other inmates on death row, to life in prison.

Lefkow Will Hammer Jon Burge: It is Preordained in the Media

Chicago Tribune

Jon Burge will receive a very heavy sentence from Judge Joan Lefkow in Federal Court this afternoon. It is preordained - Judge Lefkow refused to recuse herself* for having worked with the prosecutor. More importantly, the media determined years ago that Jon Burge was guilty and want to help G. Flint Taylor amass his millions more -in my humble opinion. This case will be squealed loudly in order to bring pressure on Gov. Quinn to sign the Death Penalty Abolition Bill. G. Flint Taylor intends to bring more suits on the back of Judge Lefkow's sentence and make millions more from tax-payers.

Did Burge torture? I really do not believe so. That matters not. I repost what I said this past summer. Make book on this - Burge will receive a heavy sentence and G. Flint Taylor will want much, much, much more. This is and always has been about money and not at all about Justice - for anyone. Most people who have decided that Jon Burge is guilty and condemned a priori are pretty good people. A few, like G. Flint Taylor are not worth the sweat of a fat man in a sauna.

From With Both Hands, Friday, June 18, 2010

I know the Fahey family, not real well, but I know Packey and Mike. Their brother Chicago Police Officer William Fahey along with Officer Richard O'Brien was tortured, murdered and their bodies were urinated upon by the Wilson Brothers.

I do not know, nor have I ever met Former Detective Commander Burge. I do know several Chicago Police Detectives who worked under Jon Burge, in Area 2. They universally admire Burge for courage and leadership 'from the front' and say he was a great boss.

All I know about Jon Burge's nemesis G. Flint Taylor is what I have read in the news and other media publications and witnessed on television or heard over the radio. My impression of G. Flint Taylor of the Peoples Law Office is wildly unfavorable. Not a big deal.

The media love G. Flint Taylor because he is edgy and wraps his dubious agenda in rhetorical flourishes that would make Atticus Finch seem like the leader of a lynch mob.

There should be indictments and prosecutions of Burge and his men for obstruction of justice, perjury and conspiracy,” said Flint Taylor, Orange’s attorney. He called for hearings for the 25-30 black men imprisoned after allegedly being tortured into confessions of crimes they didn’t commit. . . .Meanwhile, Orange’s lawyer failed to produce a properly drafted document giving him power of attorney to settle, Georges said. . . . an attorney for one of the plaintiffs had not been able to produce a power of attorney executed by his client, a form that would demonstrate he had the authority to settle the case.
Chicago Sun Times

G. Flint Taylor it seems to me is a Marxist millionaire lawyer with the bulliest of pulpits - American Progressive High Ground. He is a nasty piece of work, it seems to me, because he has been at the plate with his Burge bats for decades and never hit one even remotely within the foul line. G. Flint Taylor's most telling moment occurred when career criminal and current Federal inmate Aaron Paterson's day in court went south on the thug. G. Flint Taylor and Urban Translator Gator Bradley as well as another attorney all but came to blows over the money that was settled out of court - yet, Aaron by dint of his thuggish instincts returned to prison.

Three of the alleged victims have remained free, but Patterson is serving a 30-year prison term on gun and drug charges.

In one of the strange twists in Patterson's civil case, a judge allowed Wallace "Gator" Bradley, a former gang enforcer, to sit in court with Patterson's attorney as an "urban translator" to control the volatile defendant. Now Bradley says Patterson's attorney, Frank Avila, owes him $250,000 for his work. Avila and Flint Taylor, Patterson's former lawyer, are fighting over their share of the legal fees.

Chicago Sun Times

G. Flint not only demands the spilled nickels on the courtroom floors, but also demands that the American Justice system be deconstructed. Any and all confidence in Law Enforcement and the Institutions of Justice must be undermined - in that way, G. Flint Taylor can continue to milk the Systemic Racist Police Torture Cow.

Every time, and he will again, Taylor fails make charges stick to Jon Burge and other police officers, he howls like a pig with a hair lip.

A panel of judges must study Burge and his Midnight Crew!!!!!

They did and produced a finding that cost millions of dollars and did not come up with Taylor's script.

Howls!!!! They are related to cops!!! It is more racism and cover-up!

Flint demands and the corporate media choruses along with Flint "The Federal Prosecutor MUST Charge Burge with Perjury!:

They did.

Flint Howls!!!!!!!!!!!"I want Burge on the witness stand!" . . .I have a feeling that Burge will go back to Florida -John Conroy's editorialized reports for NPR notwithstanding. Many, many, many very good people believe G.Flint Taylor. I do not. I am around police officers very often and I am also around people in the news media very often. Some cops are thugs and most are not. Some journalists are lazy, scripted hacks, most reporters are not that at all.

The Burge Saga has been an orchestrated effort to create the facts -pure Hegelian/Dewey method. Facts are troubling things. What is ignored by the media is the fact that much of testimony in past trials concerning police torture were ruled as inadmissable. The 'black box' is an urban legend. I first read about the black box years ago, when Bernardine Dohrn strapped on her job at Northwestern. Sasha Abramsky echoed the tale and John Conroy then with Chicago Reader hammered it home.

G. Flint Taylor even had a re-production of the torture instrument brought into a courtroom.

A boy scout who later said that he had seen the device -melted into La Salle County Illinois and a series of arrests in Ottawa. UBI Sunt?

The City of Chicago, like other towns and municipalities walked right into G. Flint Taylor's agenda - they tried to toss money at a glutton.

Now, with witnesses against Burge self-impeaching and the high-minded suspender snapping oratory melted, Jon Burge is answering questions with piss and vinegar.

When and if Burge is acquitted and I believe that he will be. G.Flint Taylor and his orchestra will play more loudly. This is not about justice -this is all about money for G. Flint Taylor and his industry. But right now, things are not looking too good and it is torturing G. Flint Taylor.

G. Flint Taylor knows all about torture - he is a past master.

A federal judge set to sentence former Chicago police Cmdr. Jon Burge next week refused to withdraw from the case Wednesday after the defense raised a potential conflict of interest.

Burge's attorneys asked that U.S. District Judge Joan Lefkow remove herself because an assistant U.S. attorney on the case had helped prosecute white supremacist Matthew Hale on charges of plotting to kill Lefkow. Lefkow called the request not timely this late in the prosecution and said she couldn't recall meeting with the prosecutor during preparation for the Hale trial.

The prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney David Weisman, said in court that he recalled meeting with Lefkow once during the Hale trial. Later, Lefkow smiled and apologized to Weisman for not remembering meeting him then.

Lawman John Flood -The Context of Police Lawsuit Lawyers - Loevy and Loevy

Suing the Police, particularly here in Chicago, is an industry that connects radical leftist academics, lawyers, thugs, gutless politicians, taxpayers and the media. The Chicago Thug Comfort Zone is in no small way due to this industry.

The Jon Burge Midnight Crew was created by G. Flint Taylor and the media.

Every career criminal has an opportunity for wealth ( less 30%)by bringing suit against police officers and City and County government. The Media have its collective head in the sand and never will connect the dots for the public in this matter. They will only howl out phony outrage against police officers under charge and wring milky hands when savages kill.

A Lawman and Labor Leader, John Flood is the source every citizen needs to turn to in order to understand the context that forms this vicious and hypocritical industry that usurps Police Chain of Command and has destroyed public confidence in law enforcement.

John Flood formed the first genuine and effective Police Union since Boston broke the Police Union in 1919. Mr. Flood employed Arthur Loevy, a powerful member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America and witnessed the methods and motives that are the core of the Police Lawsuit Industry. I will defer to Mr. Flood in matters concerning this Industry and wish to pint to his authority.

Mr. Loevy and son Jon were starting their firm – Loevy & Loevy. Son Jon was suing a Chicago Police officer and Solomon Smith was coaching Loevy Sr as to how police officers react and think as it related to the strategy of the initial Loevy inspired suit. Smith had touted behind my back and against my directives, in his position as a CCPA staff member legal actions against the Village of Oak Lawn PD Chief of Police Jim Houk and one of his commanders Terry Voderer with Officer Marty McGrath a CCPA representative within that Department point man to the cause. Stutzman and Dwyer agreeing of the actions and briefing McGorcle of Burbank P D.

The show was on. The Chicago Police Department suit and the suit one might consider calling the legal extortion of the Village of Oak Lawn, Illinois. In that municipality Marty McGrath, Solomon Smith and Arthur R Loevy engineered a legal maneuver that represented Oak Lawn Patrolman Carlos Panthera who was not well thought of in that Department for his braggadocio of having been a member of street gangs.

Oak Lawn Village administration settled the Loevy & Loevy suit against the strong disagreement wishes of Chief Houk and Commander Voderer because it would cause more to defend than to settle. Panthera left Oak Lawn P D.

I opened this remembrance as to a most recent surgery – for surgery played a major role in my leaving my career – my profession – and the union founded.

On March 21st 2009 – 59 years of age -woke up in the morning – blood in urine. That afternoon in Rush Presbyterian North Shore Hospital, Skokie, Illinois.

Bladder cancer – immediate surgery. My doctor - my internist of many years – wonderful man – Arthur R. Loevy’s cousin. The curse of cancer was a life changer – two people immediately notified of the CCPA union staff – Arthur R. Loevy and Solomon Smith – and then – new to the scene elected - CCPA officers William Stutzman, Wheeling P D and Michael Dwyer, Evergreen Park P D. All requested I stay overseeing administration till a transition could be arranged. Out of responsibility to the membership and state of the union – continued on – in a “lame duck” position.

The first of many betrayals began - openly – it was Arthur R Loevy - point man. The man I viewed as my closest friend, my professor, advisor of over thirty one years and “THE CREW” - as I was to become to call them - was quickly aligning under Loevy behind the back coordination and surreptitious leadership.

Arthur R Loevy was far smarter than the whole crew combined. He did not lack for intelligence and political acumen. Both are his forte. Personal courage is not.
He was aware that I was becoming cognizant of untoward matters involving him. Nine days after cancer surgery – recovering - Arthur Loevy phoned my home and in his almost laughingly rhetorical way – his deliverance of words – his weapons of ability – tried to convince me that I did not have bladder cancer. His conduct – his presentation – most difficult to fathom – to believe occurring. He was to write it off, later as playful –joking, kidding banter.

He continued behind my back political treachery and betrayal of trust. Such betrayal is not easily recognizable – especially when orchestrated by a man of Loevy’s political union savvy.

January 30th 2000. Hit once again. Bladder cancer. Second surgical go round. Doctor, overseeing care – Arthur R. Loevy’s cousin. Announce to all elected CCPA union officers and staff that retirement will be of necessity – but commitments will be met.

Commitments and my word I have lived by all of life and know of no man – none – from youth, through military and police career – the entire journey - who can challenge that statement – true of my mind.

If one does not have their word – then one has little. One’s character is wanting. Lost, maybe never possessed. One might achieve wealth and title – but one’s word means more than all.

It is a class – one’s word -and if you don’t have it – no matter what else you have – doesn’t make much of a difference. If you have it you don’t need much of anything else.

Arthur R Loevy - who does not have it - was dismissed – March 6th 2000.

Fired - from my staff. Personal meeting of him and I.

I was mad as hell at that difficult meeting. Mad enough to want to hit him for his untoward conduct, betrayal of trust and deceit- but told him if I did it would be as striking a woman – for anything physical or situations that would place him in harm’s way - was to be left to others. As mentioned - courage not his forte. Words – the convolution of words - for the pen is mightier than the sword- and he well knows that – the wielding of words alone – to serve whatever of his purposes - definitely is his forte.

They the Loevy & Loevy Firm continue to be on the attack – ambulance chasers of a different form. They are the police chaser firm with a few FBI agents of note thrown in. Too this very day at the Chicago, Illinois Kluczynski federal building and other venues outside Illinois and spreading nationally as the specious legal maneuvers are sought with highly played advertisements and staged press conferences.

May I add that all the major politicians of Chicago and Illinois know Arthur Loevy from his personal union career and involvement with the Chicago Federation of Labor – but most of all for his participation with the Combined Counties Police Association as my consigliore for want of a better term? He lived many years under my imprimatur – but he was kept well in line. He only felt safe to attack- form a cabal with William Stutzman, Wheeling P D, Mike Dwyer Evergreen Park P D Solomon Smith, Maywood P D, and Marty McGrath Oak Lawn PD when I was well weakened with cancer.

He surmised and “THE CREW “did to – that my possible death was imminent.

Now knowing what I had come to know as to his quick to leave the International Secretary position with UNITE, formerly the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America , and his son initiating law suits against police officers I was totally disgusted and wracked with a sense of stupidity as to how I could be fooled so long.

The law firm of Loevy & Loevy was underway – but his dealing with “THE CREW” to control the affairs of a then still major, well known police union as I attempted to leave my career was also well underway.

A coup d’etat of power was well formed underhandedly. Loevy was the brain. Wanted the power therein and "THE CREW" were his foils. “THE CREW” served his purposes and he served theirs. A mutual seduction of “THE CREW” and the law degreed Mr. Loevy, so to speak.

Few can plot, twist, remake reality, conjure untoward possibilities, misrepresent fact, distort and outright lie as attorneys.A lifelong evaluation. Most in the law enforcement profession are well aware that members of the bar and the ethics they profess are fallacious at best. The financial moguls and the legal practitioners along with the politicians they align themselves with and many of whom they outright buy – control the power structure of the nation. The good of anyone- the people per se - is secondary to the self serving power control. They can even debate over what the word “is” is ala William Jefferson Clinton – a liar of enormous historic proportions – true to his Juris Doctorate.

So for the moment now - I retreat from the continuance of this sad tale of police -lawyer chicanery.

For I tire- body seeking rest, following doctors orders. For my body to rise up and get the ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISECTOMY WITH FUSION addressed to a wellness state. To sully forth as best a man of seventy one years can do - and heal.

Operations take their toll and I have seen more major ones than most. Thirteen major medical shots of memory and the periphery needles and numerous tests, therapy and ongoing checkups.

So this most factual remembrance will commence again. But at a future time.

John Flood does great service to the public as a resource.

G. Flint Taylor 17 At-Bats Against Jon Burge, No Runs, No Hits, 17 Errors

Jon Burge was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice by Federal Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald.

That, to my knowledge, is only time that Jon Burge was convicted of anything and that trial, in my opinion, was scripted over the last thirty years by G. Flint Taylor.

With Full orchestra and chorus of Chicago's Academics, Cadillac Commie lawyers, political race hustlers like Ed Smith and Danny 'Any Lane' Davis, 501(c) 3 radical leftist and our very lazy and complacent Chicago Editorial Boards and columnists, playing flat-out and G. Flint Taylor needed the Feds and full and sober majesty of Justice Department squeezing every person within twenty zip-codes near Jon Burge ever. G. Flint Taylor did not even use the T-Ball Gizmo in his quiver -settling out of court, because in-court he whiffs up a storm.

The city has paid $10.1 million in outside counsel fees for Mr. Burge’s legal defense in civil cases. Mr. Burge’s accusers and their advocates are questioning why the city is continuing to pick up the costly tab for his defense after he was found guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice on June 28. Mr. Burge, 62, has been a defendant in 17 civil rights lawsuits filed in federal court.

17 at-bats for G. Flint. Not one hit. Fitzy pinch-hit and sailed one over the ivy.

G. Flint Taylor is a making millions of dollars. He sends convicted murdering thugs wanting to get on the Lawsuit Lotto bus to other attorneys demanding that the lawyers forego fees -Pron Bono Work-while G. Flint Taylor pockets large.

Goofs like Ald. Ed Smith are now on the Burge bus as well.

I would love to see one (1) Chicago journalist connect a few of the dots in the G. Flint Taylor Great Chain of Being All About Burge. I would love to see one (1) article. I would love to see Le Bron James decide to give up basketball and go Law School.

A "Rowdy Taste of Chicago!" Tribune Editorial-ese: Stabbings, Tasings, Wholesome Good Fun!

YeeeHaaaawwww! Tayste A'SheeKawGo! Pardners, strap on on your cleets and buckle your chin straps, We Goin' to The Tayste!

Rowdy night at the Taste: 3 stabbed, 1 Tased

n what onlookers described as a rowdy night as the Taste of Chicago let out, three teenagers were stabbed downtown in two separate incidents, police said this morning. In addition, police said they had to use a stun gun to subdue a man who got into fight with them.

The most serious injury was to a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed in the back in the 200 block of South State Street about 9:25 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

The teen was walking with friends when they encountered a group of fighting males, Gaines said.

The teen felt pain in his back and realized he had been stabbed, he said. The injury was described as serious but non-life threatening.

The teen, who was described by police as a known gang member, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but large crowds leaving the Taste blocked the ambulance for a time. The boy was still hospitalized this morning.

About 15 minutes later, two boys, ages 14 and 15, who were leaving a McDonald's restaurant, also in the 200 block of South State, encountered what police described as a melee--perhaps the same one the other boy walked into--and tried to get away, said Police Officer Laura Kubiak.

Before they could, the 14-year-old was cut on his lower right arm and his 15-year-old companion received a two-inch laceration to his lower back.

The two boys ran to a Red Line station, where they hopped on an 'L' train and got off at the 79th Street station. Their parents took them to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, where they were treated and released, police said.

Some people attending the Taste reported other violence, which apparently brought out a large contingent of riot-clad police to the area.

Taja Jarrett, 20, was getting out of her retail job in the Loop at 8 p.m. when she said she first noticed large crowds in the area. She and Shanice Brown, 17, were planning to check out the Taste festivities when they saw a fight break out near one of the entrances.

The two walked west to Dearborn Street where they encountered another large brawl. They also saw an increased police presence, including officers on horses, ATVs, on foot and in cars. Dozens of helmeted on all-terrain vehicles ushered a large crowd west on Jackson Boulevard away from Grant Park.

In the Tasing incident, also nearby in the 300 block of South State, a 24-year-old South Side man was blocking traffic and refused officers' requests to move, said News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli. The man struggled with officers on the scene, and pushed one of them before being taken into custody. Marabelli said police Tasered the man when he continued to be unruly and began fighting with them.

The man was taken to Mercy Hospital where he was evaluated then turned over to police. He has been charged with resisting arrest and reckless conduct, both misdemeanors.

There was also a small fire at the food fest, with a transformer catching fire near the Art Institute of Chicago. The fire was quickly put out, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva. However, it apparently caused some small power outages in the area.

Rowdy? As in a Charlie Daniels Fiddle Fest?

Well Torture has a whole new meaning - it's a derivative of Perjury.

Victims are people who strangle two women and two toddlers soak them in gasoline and ignite the corpses; get convicted; have ambulance chasing Commies like Flint Taylor and Locke Bowman as mouthpieces; howl long enough and get sprung from your guilt -that's a Victim, cooked up in Flint's Kitchen.

Makes sense.

The Burge Trial - The Jury Will Not End Burge Industries: Lawyers, Louts and Loudmouths

Very good people are appalled by the idea of torture. The idea of torture in Chicago by homicide detectives committed to systemtic racism has been carefully crafted and marketed over the last thirty years.

Academics, Activists and Advocacy Agendanistas have parlayed the idea of torture into a mythology that permeates what passes for Chicago's corporate news media.

Carol Marin and other iconic columnists have not tucked their snouts into the story of Area 2, but have relied completely on the work of John Conroy and the propaganda machine of G. Flint Taylor. Code of Silence, Black Box, House of Screams, Vietnam 101 Torture are part of the Burge Industries glossary developed by Sasha Abramsky, Bernardine Dohrn, G. Flint Taylor, Northwestern Law, and especially John Conroy, who can not seem to be given the contract by the corporate media that laps up his every nuanced participle. Why is he not the editor of some great metropolitan newspaper? They all redact his texts and themes.

Twelve citizens will decide for or against Jon Burge, who has been fabricated into the face of torture, by G. Flint Taylor, The MacArthur Center for Justice, Jon Loevy, Locke Bowman, Jean McLean Snyder, Berardine Dohrn, WTTW, WBEZ, NPR, and the lazy and compliant editorial boards.

I have followed this story as a citizen and as an educator who spends seven days a week in Area 2 - I live here and live with the fall-out that has evolved as the result of the erosion in faith for Law Enforcement at the hands of lawyers, louts and loudmouths. A rainforest of crime has rooted up in Chicago- not in Wicker Park, Bucktown, Lakeview, Highland Park, Winnteka, or Wilmette, but in Gresham, Englewood, Brainerd, Morgan Park, Beverly and Roseland.

I have witnessed the savagery of street thuggery and attended the funerals of too many sweet and hard working young black men slaughtered in the Thug Comfort Zone created by Burge Industries - Eric Ersery, Jason Riley, Steven Lyons,Eric and Steve Lee to name but a few. I have witnessed the police officers and detectives of Gresham District (6th) and Area 2.

I don't buy the systemic racist torture at all. Am I intellectually dishonest? I don't think so. I have followed this story very religiously since Officers Fahey and O'Brien were tortured and murdered. I know that I have found the endless chorus of charges and the endless failures to make the case for torture a compelling case for doubt. What happened? I do not know, but I do not buy for one second the charges howled by G. Flint Taylor and the murdering savages that he represents. I suspect that G. Flint Taylor and others in his cottage industry including Chicago's news media want the Burge Saga to continue.

The perjury case against Jon Burge,it seems to me, was merely another legal sop paid to G.Flint Taylor. The City of Chicago and Cook County tried tossing millions of dollars at this public pest. They would have done well to stand in court and demanded a battle royal against the charges. They did not.

The jury will decide one way or the other, but do not think for a minute that Burge Industries will be satisfied. If Jon Burge is convicted or acquitted, G. Flint Taylor and his disciples will howl for more, more, more court time and greater fees. Taylor is smelling an acquittal of Jon Burge and has already ginned up his next moves:

Whatever the outcome of the Jon Burge perjury and obstruction of justice trial, the legal battles that have swirled around him for more than 20 years, and that have cost the city millions of dollars, will drag on.

Not only legal battles, but political battles,” said Flint Taylor, who represents several men who accused Mr. Burge and others of torturing them while at Area 2 violent-crimes unit of the police department on the Far South Side in the 1970s and ’80s. “This is just one phase in the long struggle against police torture.”

Even Huffington Post has gone dark on the Burge Trial.

The only real, genuine and consistant voice calling out the media for this sense of fait accompli in the Burge Trial has been Steve Rhodes of Beachwood Reporter and we agree not a bit in this matter. Rhodes even seemed to shame the Chicago Reader, once the home of John Conroy into some sense of coverage. Rhodes is honest and sincere in his antipathy to Jon Burge, unlike the moral whack-a-mole opportunists Carol Marin, or Eric Zorn.

John Conroy will be kept busy and his story line will continue as Carol Marin and others play the Polyanna do-gooders.

More kids will be slaughtered. If it bleeds it leads.

The scent of easy money, like the taste for blood can not be sated.

Burge Trial - Peoples Law Office Reenactment of Burge Torture

"He said he wasn't abused. He said he never got electro-shocked," Shaw said, dressed in a bright orange prison jumpsuit, his arm and leg irons clanking occasionally as he shifted in his chair. "He said it was all a lie. He said there were all kinds of attorneys on it, and there were others that were dying to get on the case. He talked about movie deals, book deals. At the time, I thought it was far-fetched."

Lawyers seeking to benefit financially from a slam dunk accusation of systemic racist police torture? Far-fetched? Not really.

As compelling as most of John Conroy's narratives ( chock filled with Burge rumors and hearsay, as well as the mystery Black Box)and every mobilized coalition's thoughtful consideration of the chain of events of these last thirty years in the Burge Saga it might be, I say it might be, useful to take a serious look how seriously G.Flint Taylor's Peoples Law Office takes Jon Burge and Justice.

Far-fetched? Not really.

Burge Trial - Burge Gives G.Flint Taylor What He Howled For . . . Taylor and Company Are Not Happy.

They did.

Flint Howls!!!!!!!!!!!"I want Burge on the witness stand!"

There is Burge in all of his beefy splendor!

Flint Howls!!!!!!!!!!!! to Elizabeth Brackin on WTTW. Naturally. Brackin wants Burge stomped -give her a listen. Hack.

I have a feeling that Burge will go back to Florida -John Conroy's editorialized reports for NPR notwithstanding.
