John McCain: Chicago Police Officers - Justice Has Your Backs!

Chicago Police Officers have been under assault by the very forces of radical thought in America that Senator Barack Obama wears over his shoulders like a good heavy top-coat out on the stump - well, there's stumps and there's stumps. As Senator Obama so clearly stated last week at the donor ( $2,500 a Butt Place) get-together in San Francisco last week, Cops, cling to your Faith and your weapons.

All summer long and through the fall of 2007, Chicago Police Officers, not the City of Chicago, came under an orchestration of strings, horns and percussion from the Chicago Sun Times News Group. It was an atonal Progressive Piece.

On July 10th, 2007 Sun Times editor Cheryl Reed issued her proclamation "we [the Chicago Sun-Times editorial page] are returning to our liberal, working-class roots, a position that pits us squarely opposite the Chicago Tribune—that Republican, George Bush-touting paper over on moneyed Michigan Avenue."

What followed was not a series of editorials or reports in support of hard-working, over-taxed, crime-victimized Chicago citizens, but what appeared to be a daily pogrom of Chicago Police Officers.

Radical Lawyers, University 501(c)3 Thinks Tanks, Street Reverends, Urban Translators,* convicted murderers, foolishly gutless elected officials and community activists publicly attempted to undermine any and all confidence in law enforcement by arguing that Chicago Police Officers, black,Hispanic, Asian and white were fundamentally brutal racists drunk on power - and other lubricants as well.

Radical lawyers, especially G.Flint Taylor ( Peoples Law Office) and Jon Loevy, had their coal shovelled for them by Cheryl Reed's Progressive Independent Voice of Chicago. Reed's catch-phrase 'Let's Get into It!' Challenged criminals violate the laws and safety of Chicago and its citizens and win a Lotto Lawsuit with Flint Taylor or Jon Loevy in the public eye.

During the Sun Times reign of terror, a Thug Comfort Zone was created in Chicago. Mary Mitchell. Frank Main, and Mark Brown voiced 'concerns' about Chicago's 'systemic racism and corruption.' Convicted murderers who had been pardoned by Governor Ryan sued the City of Chicago and nearly every day lawyers like Taylor and Loevy or radical think tanks from Northwestern University Law ( smeared by the continued tenure of convicted domestic terrorist and Obama friend Bernardine Dohrn) spokesmen Locke Bowman were given gallons of ink by the Chicago Sun Times to pillory the very women and men charged with 'keeping a lid' on Chicago's Homicide Roller Coaster.

Here are but ten of 185 such pieces that helped create Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone:

More than 1,200 complaints have dogged 57 officers in the Chicago Police Department's elite Special Operations Section over the past five years. But only four of those complaints have led to discipline: a 15-day suspension and three reprimands, according to statistics obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Over the same period from 2001 to 2006, at least six members of the citywide Special Operations Section robbed drug dealers and honest citizens alike, prosecutors say. Those...

Good God!

The dedicated men and women of Chicago Police Department continued to Serve and Protect under this most unwholesome reign of terror. Citizens died from violence and went completely ignored by the creators of the Thug Comfort Zone: two Leo High School graduates of the Class of 2004 Jason Riley Class Valedictorian and Golden Gloves Boxing Champion 2003 (125Lb. Division) was shot in the back by gang bangers at 69th & Justine in front of witnesses and received only coverage and outcry from the Chicago Tribune. Two weeks earlier, Steve Lyons, Leo 2004 Thompson Gold Medal Scholar, was murdered while studying at his desk in his grandmother's home by gang bangers. Neither, death provoked any artificial outcry from Mary Mitchell, Frank Main, Abdon Pallasch, Mark Brown or Cheryl Reed. No class for marches, no nothing, because their deaths could not result in a Lotto Lawsuit by Lefty Lawyers, or enrich any Urban Translator, or hand a microphone to University Think Tank loudmouths.

Cheryl Reed is gone. Chicago Sun Times is limping to an ignominious end. Chicago Police Officers still serve and protect.

Payback is a tall beautiful woman with her eyes covered and a nifty set of scales in her mitts. That babe is a knockout.

She may help get an unjustly accused and convicted Chicago Police Man out of an Iowa Prison.

She may help the Lyons and Riley families find justice against the people who created the Thug Comfort Zone that killed Jason and Steve.

Chicago Police officers may get help from this beautiful woman in November, when John McCain get elected to the Presidency.

This morning, as every morning I began my day with the women and men who keep me safe. I open to CPD Officers' only forum the great Blodsite Second City Cop. The Chicago Police Officers - not the command structure - seem to have better morale these days. They are getting a look at the crumbling structure, sadly around Obama's Campaign, of the foundation of the Thug Comfort Zone. The Babe with the scales has you backs Officers!

From today's Second City Cop:

Sen. Barack Obama was criticized Friday by his two fellow presidential candidates for statements he made recently at a San Francisco fundraiser that could be viewed as derogatory toward rural America.

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," Obama said Sunday, according to the Huffington Post web site.

"And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not," Obama reportedly continued. "It's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
"...cling to guns"? Isn't that a Right enshrined in the United States Constitution?

"...or religion"? Again, a Right. People are free to worship or not as they see fit. And if religion is the touchstone that helps them live their lives morally, ethically and properly, who is Obama to claim they are "bitter"? We wonder why Obama seems to "cling" to the Trinity Church where an obviously deranged "reverend" claims the CIA invented AIDS and 9/11 was deserved.

"...anti-immigrant"? How about "anti people breaking the laws of the United States to come here, drain the economy and demand protections due only to actual citizens of this country"? Everyone here today is descended from immigrants, but most of our ancestors did it properly.

Hillary is circling the drain, but the more Obama speaks, the more people realize he's nothing more than an old-time big-government liberal elite who's going to raise taxes, kowtow to special interests and pretty much destroy the economy by implementing gigantic social programs on a level unseen since the 1930's.

Barring a disaster, it's McCain in November.

*
It's clear that gang members and the justice system they sometimes encounter operate in different social spheres. You might even say that such (alleged) criminals speak a different language than judges and attorneys. That, at least, is a point of discussion in a Chicago courtroom.

Wallace "Gator" Bradley is currently acting as a "court interpreter" for a gang member suing the city because, he claims, police tortured confessions out of him. In a criminal trial, the Chicago Sun-Times reports, Aaron Patterson shouted in court, threatened his attorneys and attacked one of them.

To keep him calm in his current trial, Bradley is sitting at his table in court and helping him keep calm. Attorney Frank Avila made this argument in pressing the judge to accept the unusual arrangement: "Mr. Bradley and him come from a different subculture and they are familiar with each other's, let's say, emotional needs. So I'm using this analogy of having a translator in a different language. And I know that sounds kind of radical, but I think that's correct. And I think Mr. Bradley would be critical in communicating with my client."

Attorneys for the other side find this all highly irregular. "All of us were stunned when Patterson's attorney described Mr. Bradley as an urban translator," said Patricia Bobb, an attorney for a Cook County judge who is among those Patterson is suing.

Especially because he could be saving a bundle.

Sun Times # 1. South Side Irish Hater - I Hope Every Business in Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood Tosses This Rag!

Curious is a member of the Sun Times Staff( Financial).
Failure to rein in drunks killed more than parade That is the Sun Times' Headline on its Commentary.

Here is the opening sentence -The South Side Irish Parade is dead, but only because the adults in charge never did their job.

Bull$hit! The Sun Times makes a habit of calling everyone in these three neighborhoods racists, drunks and bigots. I have yet to see any person of color abused here in this neighborhood -terrorized, beaten, threatened, or even looked at cross-wise; I have yet to see drunks from the neighborhood reeling wildly down our streets; I have yet to encounter any member of the Aryan Nation/Hitler Youth/Klan/ or Weatherman Faction. Nevertheless, Your Rag took a very painful decision made in good faith between good people as an opportunity to pour out more hate.

The Sun Times and many of its personalities played overtime to get more idiots and weaklings to the Parade.

Several years ago at the South Side Parade while doing an article for GAR Media in New York, I personally witnessed a wildly drunken Sun Times Columnist avoid a well-deserved ass kicking from more than a few persons not delighted by his whimsy on the street outside of one the bars, due to the very careful ministrations of an off-duty CPD Detective.

Errare Est Human, Ignoscere est . . .not a chance. People make mistakes - newspapers smear. You smear the people of the Committee and hold them responsible for this mope: Sun Times News Group -

Speaking Thursday - as the commander in charge of policing 310,000 revelers at the parade detailed a nightmarishly "rough day" for his officers - 17-year-old Gonzalo Vasquez said he plans to attend whatever celebration South Side organizers have next year. "I was wasted," Vasquez said outside his home in the 14800 block of Lawndale Avenue on Thursday afternoon. "But I wasn't the only one. Everybody was drunk. You can't blame me for them canceling the parade."

Did the reporter pose Tough Questions on Gonzalo's Mom? She's an adult? Nope.

In The Same STNG edition, Bigot Kadner 'Found' a disgruntled City Worker who hates the Parade! Must have been like brain surgery that quest.

The South Side Irish Parade Committee made a tough decision and the Media Jackels jumped - Kadner of STNG, Trib's Eric Zorn and the Sun Times crew. This group of citizens, The South Side Irish Parade Committee, were they from any other race or ethnic group might just slap a Civil Rights Suit on the Sun Times. I wish they would. Actually, I would rather see members of Committee loosen a few of your collective teeth - that's just how this little Buttercup rolls.

The Committee made rules and the Chicago Sun Times and the Chicago Tribune and the other media outlets maintained a steady hate-crime against the Irish American Community by Harping on Booze as the Only True Association to this Parade. Maybe a real sharky Lawsuit Lawyer cares to dig up your history of stories and articles promoting the heavy drinking.

You hate Cops and you hate this part of Chicago where Cops, Firemen, School teachers, Tradesmen, and professionals live and celebrate their heritage and respect their neighbors in so doing. Some of you are former South Side Irish - stay that way. Shake the dust off of us.

The Chicago Sun Times is thoroughly hypocritical and wildly stupid.

The only persons who know exactly why this Parade was cancelled are the people who actually made that decision.

I honor their decision. So do my neighbors. I wish that they had waited a while and not give Haters like the Sun Times any opportunity to juice some Irish directed hockers.

The Committee spent the many hours making a great Parade. I hope the Sun Times is as much a memory as the South Side Irish Parade, by the time of the Easter Parade.

I will ask every one of my neighbors to not buy this rag or any STNG Rag. Time to close the Sun Times and the whole chain of rags.

We can always bring back the South Side Parade.

Can't say the same about you morons.

Sun Times Gets it Right - After Playing the Lefty Fool for Years

Ray Coffey should be the Standard for News writers and those who would call themselves Journalists. Ray's departure from the Chicago Sun Times was the starting gun for that paper's 90 degree plunge in credibility and honor. There might yet be hope for the Sun Times.

The Sun Times offered a sober look at the value of newspapers in yesterday's commentary.

No army of bloggers, no TV or radio station, no nonprofit journalism collective, no foundation-supported task force of political and government reporters will ever do the job so well.

The first Sun-Times exclusive hit the front page on Sunday: "Blago hit up Burris for cash." The reporters were Natasha Korecki, who covers the federal courts for the Sun-Times, and Dave McKinney, our Springfield bureau chief.

The real significance of that story was not that the brother of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich had asked Sen. Roland Burris for a sizable campaign contribution shortly before Blagojevich appointed Burris to Barack Obama's former Senate seat. No surprise there. That would be Blago's style.

The real story was that Burris had stated earlier in a Jan. 5 affidavit that he had talked to no one in the Blagojevich camp, and he had testified three days later at Blagojevich's impeachment trial that he had talked to just one person. More troubling, he never said a word about talk of money.

The real story, that is to say, is that Burris looks like a liar.

We know. That was why we quit buying the rag that bore the name - Sun Times. There are great newspaper people who have been chained to the oars of the Sun Times Sinking Ship Review for the last few years: Tim Novak, Steve Huntley, Dave McKinney, Natasha Korecki, and Kate Grossman. God love them. Tim Novak was like the Man in the Iron Mask during the last days of the Presidential Campaign. Maybe now, he can be let off the leash.

While the Sun Times has played at being a Revolutionary Organ committed to The Great Patriotic Proletarian Progress Paradee by Cheryl Reed, readers in my neighborhood and others in Chicago have pocketed the two-bit pieces.

My neighborhood, where crime happens due to the Thug Comfort Zone* that Sun Times helped create, has been insulted and caste as some kind of Third Reich Sculpture. The dampness on our backs is not rain or sweat but the dewy offerings of lazy writers and pop-eyed Advocacy nuts drawing pay from the Sun Times.

I was happy to see that the CEO and the publisher have taken their Golden Parachutes out of town.

Newspapers are essential to free Republic. Perhaps, the Sun Times will become one once again - now that the Jacobin Hat and Cap and Bells have been hung up on the hook.

Sun Times, Yet Again, Sides With Corporatist Mayor Rahm Disney Star Wars

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do
Jiminy Cricket chirps them sentiments.  Chicago is populated with Jiminy Crickets - goofs and goo-goos who not only go along with the destruction of neighborhoods, but see the rainbow and a crock of gold.  Jiminy Cricket got Rahm re-elected, put Toni Preckwinkle in her President's chair, backed every single digit I.Q. in Springfield and will do it all over again.

Every Jiminy Cricket Chicagoan (Ready for Hillary/Thinks the BGA Works for People Other Than the People Screwing Our Lives/Still Read The Trib and Sun Times Without Laughing, or Tossing The Old Cookies/Votes Straight Ticket Like It Was 1963) will be only too delighted to know the Narrative Created for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts Continues.

The Friends have abandoned their loftiest argument, that a 1973 ordinance and the spirit of a “free and open” lakefront prohibit further private development east of Lake Shore Drive. Now they’re just trying to cut a deal on the particulars of the museum, like everybody else.
You mean like Becky and Stan across the street who can be sure to profit handsomely by Rahm's Public Land Yard Sale to the wee Lad with bags of gold doubloons and happens to be married to a Hyde Park Mafia Princess? Chomsky, Please! Those two are  'real' players and Becky and Stan are, like every non-in-the-mix Chicago citizen, abstractions - votes.

The Compelling narrative voices of the Sun Times Editorial Board, like the castrati on the Chicago Tribune's, are in full harmony here -

But in giving up the high ground of pure principle, the Friends have lost much of their authority in this debate. Why should anybody listen to them? They are a respected and valued group, undoubtedly, but elected by nobody. If it is not a violation of fundamental civic values to grant the Lucas Museum a lakefront location, as the Friends appear to have conceded, then they should step aside. They should drop their law suit and leave it to those who actually were elected by somebody — the mayor and the City Council — to cut the best deal for our city.
Maybe then this negotiation can move into the real world.

Really? Gee. So, the unelected must shut up?  Brave New World; Well, compel my britches!

  • The BGA has a niche right smack dab in the middle of the Sun Times Thought Cathedral seven days a week.  No one elected Andy Shaw and the laid off former Sun Times and Tribune ink-slingers who support the Rahm Disney Star Wars Magic Kingdom . . .I mean Chicago.
  • Jesse L. Jackson, Ist of His Name, and one of most practiced and accomplished stick up artist in Social Justice Mythology continues to prop up the power on Chicago's leading tabloid. - No One Elected the King of Beers
  • Madeleine Dubeck, came to the Sun Times at the Birth of ReBoot Illinois and no one elected this former editor of the Daily Herald to ReBoot the old Illinois Hard Drive, but she slings ink now and then for the Sun Times, whenever the billionaires ( Crown/Griffin et al) need to gin up some grassroots horseshit for some more Green.
The Sun Times sanctions columns for "advocates and activists" who help draw up compelling narratives to change the social, moral, culture and political landscape of America and heap profits upon the chosen few in league with the Progressive Corporatist Power at City Hall, in Cook County and even out in Springfield.

Jiminy Crickets! When I wish upon a star, I sure don't expect to see Forrest Claypool, Pat Quinn, Toni Preckwinkle, Bruce Rauner, Rahm Emanuel, or Valerie Jarrett to get sprinkled with Hollywood Star Wars Dust and an Obama Museum.  Jiminy Crickets all over Chicago do and the Sun Times is always there to make their Dreams Come True.

Next Mayoral Election - I'm Voting Straight Friends of the Park.

The Sun Times in the 19th Ward? Don't Buy It

Image result for Sun Times publisher and editorial board

The Sun Times has a perfect right to smear a whole neighborhood and I defend its right to do so.

In the same way, the people who live in Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood have a perfect right to ask that the Sun Times no longer be made made available for purchase.

My neighbors do not deserve to be regularly treated to this race-baiting editorial nonsense:

Like a match set to dry tinder, the slur set in motion a chaotic, Wild West-style melee on a sunny Saturday in November. Punches being thrown, bystanders forced to hide under restaurant tables, guns drawn and taunts called out?
That’s a scene that belongs in 19th Century Dodge City, not 21st Century Chicago.

This nonsense followed a fatuous cut-and paste job on Mount Greenwood by Frank Main and Sam Charles as an hors d'oeuvre to the above cited Sunday editorial.  People going to services at Mount Greenwood Community, Mount Greenwood Lutheran,St. Christiana, St. John Fisher, Queen of Martyr churches can pray for strength and a spirit of forgiveness.

After church and over breakfast maybe people can have a neighborly conversation about asking businesses in this neighborhood to stop carrying the Sun Times.

The Sun Times always wants to have a "conversation."

It goes like this , people who live in Mount Greenwood are hateful racists and  should accept any and all behavior - take it and like it and shut up about it.

Fair enough. Well, in that spirit, sell your papers any where but here.

I pray that gas stations, franchisee-owned convenience stores located in and around the 19th Ward ask that Sun Times stop making delivery, because residents no longer want to read malignant nonsense from the Editors, Neil Steinberg, Mark Brown, Mary Mitchell, Jesse Jackson, Fran Spielman, Michael Sneed and the Watchdogs.

The people of my neighborhood will never, ever get a fair shake from the owners of Sun Times ( ChicagoReader et al) and they never have to this date.  The Chicago Reader called Mount Greenwood the worst neighborhood in Chicago - 'The Upside Down.'

I stopped buying the Sun Times years ago.

Where are our leaders on this?

Chicago Police Officers - Time to Sing 'Yes, We Have no Bananas' for the Sun Times!

The Chicago Sun Times continued its quest for more money for Lawsuit Lotto Lawyers, like Jon Loevy. Today's commentary by La Pasionaria Cheryl Reed - drafter of the July 15th Manifesto that raised the Red Flag over Chicago and the appetizer cartoon that accompanied the shameless calumny against working class Police Officers should about do it for Law Enforcement Professionals.

Here it is in full of it:

If an employee's misconduct cost a private company millions of dollars or caused public embarrassment, that employee would be fired. No doubt about it.

But no such punishment faces Chicago police officers found liable for abusing the people they have sworn to serve and protect. Instead of firing those cops, the city keeps paying the victims -- hundreds of millions of dollars over the years -- for beatings, false arrests or illegal searches. And the cops get to keep their jobs. How much more will it cost before the city gets rid of rogue cops?

(J.P. Schmelzer/Special to the Sun-Times) L Here's the guy who did the cartooon showing Chicago Police Officers celebrating their crimes

''Nothing is ever done'' to abusive cops, said attorney Jon Loevy, whose firm has won millions of dollars against the city in scores of police brutality verdicts in the last five years. This year, according to the Law Department, as of Sept. 30, Chicago had paid out more than $27 million in police misconduct judgments and settlements on claims ranging from sexual harassment to excessive force and illegal search. That's money this cash-strapped and tax-heavy city could use to hire more police officers. ( Emphasis here my own)
Who are these cops who are costing the city millions of dollars? They include Gerald Lodwich and Scott Korhoven, who were accused by Coprez Coffie of sodomizing him with a screwdriver in 2004 after a drug arrest. His complaint filed with OPS was ''not sustained.'' A federal jury believed him, though, after an investigation showed the officers had several screwdrivers in their glove compartment and found traces of feces. Coffie last month won a $4 million verdict. Lodwich and Korhoven are still on the job.

So are detectives Martin Garcia and Dion Boyd, accused of framing Timothy Finwall in 2001 for attempted child kidnapping. A jury awarded him $2 million in October. And so are the hundreds of officers whose conduct resulted in individual verdicts and settlements of as much as $6 million.

Not since cops clobbered anti-war demonstrators at the Democratic National Convention in 1968 has the public image of Chicago police been so battered. In many low-income and minority communities, where police misconduct is disproportionate, the police image is not Officer Friendly but Anthony Abbate, who was seen on video viciously beating a female bartender. Complaints to the Office of Professional Standards, which is supposed to investigate, are almost always dismissed.

''There is little likelihood that an officer will receive any meaningful discipline -- meaning suspended for seven days or longer,'' said Craig Futterman, a law professor at the University of Chicago and author of a study due out this month that tracked police brutality complaints from 2001-2006 in Chicago. Even in 1999, the start of the study period, the rate of sustained complaints was only 5 percent, meaning 95 out of 100 complaints were not sustained. It's even worse now: Less than 0.5 percent are sustained. No wonder those accused cops continue to abuse civilians with impunity. And the lawsuits keep on coming.

Those high numbers suggest that the Chicago police department is filled with corrupt officers, but Futterman's study showed that 80 percent of the officers had fewer than three complaints. However, 5 percent had 11 or more complaints -- and some had 50 complaints, without ever being disciplined. No wonder rogue cops don't believe they have to change.

It's as though their misdeeds earn them a place in a special inner circle in the department. The more their abuse costs the city, the more exclusive their membership in this club-within-a-club becomes. It's high time that the city of Chicago closed that club and barred the door for good.

That would about do it for me - it did. I stopped buying the Sun Times in July. There are some good writers and talent at the Sun Times but the they have been shanghaied by the Banana Pirate CEO - Cyrus Friedheim who is under Federal investigation since August 2007 - that was after the July 15th Reed Manifesto - BTW.

It seems that Cyrus, while CEO of Chiquita Banana was paying off right-wing Death Squads in South America and that the Federal Government is weighing charges against Cyrus and his fellow Banana Vintners - They've come long way from the old push carts! Now, how about that for WORKING CLASS VALUES? The Progressive- Independent Conscience of the City

If I were a Chicago Police Officer, or a member of his/her family ( Hey, I do have cops in the family - forgot about that: full disclosure n'cest pas?) no more nickles, dimes or quarters would go to the Sun Times. The Chicago Tribune is directed by a Chicagoan and has a wonderful sports page. The Sun Times used to pick up good local coverage, but now, it seems, only incidents that can help pay off Jon Loevy and his ambulance chasers. I wonder if the Chicago Sun Times is getting kick-backs from lawyers groups that sue the City , the taxpayers and discredit law.

The Chicago Sun Times directed by a guy who is being eyed by the G for paying off Right Wing Death Squads; ignored the death last week of Steven Lyons murdered by Gang-bangers while studying in his room at 76th & Aberdeen, because there was no follow-up pay off linl to Lawsuit Lotto Lawyers ( the GDs and Vice Lords, it seems, can not be compelled to buck up by such Lawsuit Lotto Addicts); dishonors all Police officers on a daily basis; undermines confidence in all Law and Justice; and insults the readership of Chicago should sit un-purchased on newsstands, in boxes, and rot like bodies of people murdered with money from Chiquita Banana pay-offs.

click on my post title for the full Washington Post article on Cyrus Friedheim's activities in South America - now under scrutiny by the Federal Government.

For Old Cyrus - Here's a Chiquita Chuckle:

Q: Knock, knock
A: Who's there?
Q: Banana
A: Banana Who?
Q: Banana? 'Die you sons of the bitches!!!!!' *bang bang*

That joke killed them in South America a couple of years ago.

Sun Times is In Like Flint!

The Chicago Sun Times the Working Man's Pal argues to strip a fired employee of his pension benefits, that evidently, the courts feel are his - a whopping $ 30,000 per annum.

The Chicago Sun Times, unlike the other local papers, ran some stories and Tom McNamee's 'Chicago Way' yesterday germed out of G. Flint Taylor's Lotto Ticket Team Boiler Room that screach ' The City Must Pay Us NOW - It's for the Taxpayers! Somebody Think about the Taxpayers, People!'

Let's see: a guy ( Burge) gets fired that everyone is suppossed to believe is Vlad the Impaler; he has a pension - well, that's got to go! Why? - because we're not supposed to like him? He - now , Flint get this part - HAS NOT BEEN CONVICTED OF ANYTHING! That was your job, Flint, to bring him to Justice. You have been at bat - How many times? Never mind. Since when? Well before most of the Sun Times Readers were born? Evidence, my man!

I am a prosaic guy. Ants come into my house, because I forgot to call Orkin; not because of systemic racism. I got ants ! Who do I sue? I'm just joshing boys - just kidding. Don't start contacting Andy Shaw.

The Sun Times touted the City of Chicago's former ahem, ahem, epidemiologist - to spin the financials on this latest one:

Instead, the city will pay more than that just to lawyers for Burge -- a total of $16 million -- to prepare the case for him, interview witnesses, etc., says the study prepared by Steven Whitman, the City of Chicago's former chief epidemiologist.

Why not the Orkin Man? Or, I could stop by Keegan's and grab a couple of Roofers from Eddie Carroll!

Isn't an epidemiologist a man of medicine concerned with non-communicable diseases and what not? 'We got us a Burge Bug! Call the Press Conference, Sasha!'

Burge is alleged to have tortured. Tons of allegations, but no proof. No courts ( Federal, State, County, Tennis, Prom) seem to be banging down Flint's door to bring the Florida ruffian into Justice's Death Grip.

Instead - Flint plays the dopes in the media like a Stradivarius - or maybe a Stratocaster.

Today The Tribune and the Daily Southtown reported on Chicago News - you know that stuff - State Budget; People of Aurora fighting an Abortion Mill; Casinos, Museums, Bank of America Layoffs & etc. But the Chicago Sun Times is on all burners to make sure G. Flint Taylor gets a pay-day.

Before the Sun Times became an appendage of Flint's Foragers, one needed to pick up the Socialist Worker and People's Weekly World to get Flint's Palms Up!

Dear Reader, do check out the last paragraph of the excerpt from Today's Official Flint Commentary - 'We (the Readers, dear Reader) should take all the news that Abdon Pallasch and Tom McNamee have been chicken - little-ing Taxpayers about recently with a 'pinch of salt.' Mercy sakes alive! Everything they have been reporting about the sky, rocketing down on our tiny ears, was crafted by the Flint's Foragers? Hmmmm!!! Sneedless to say. N'cest Pas?

We've already urged the city to do whatever it takes to find a way to cut off Burge's $2,500 monthly pension. Now we're urging the city to settle those cases, and settle them quickly, to close an ugly chapter in its history.
. . .
There is only a 3 percent chance that the city would win every lawsuit, the report estimated. But even in that best-case scenario, taxpayers would still be on the hook for $16 million in fees to Burge's lawyers.

Those numbers have to be taken with a grain of salt, since they come from the men's legal team. But we can't argue with the premise that the city is betting millions on what looks like a losing hand. A $7 million report by special prosecutors last year concluded that Burge tortured suspects but that it was too late to prosecute him.

Are Lawyers Not supposed to win cases in Court? Mulligans are for the Links - not the Justice System. Do-Overs are for little guys - kids.

And you want to be our Latex Salesmen?

Sun Times News Group - One Voice - No Message - Lottsa Bananas!

'I am the Sun Times News Group - be quiet; Talk through the Hand!'

I heard that there was a huge purge at the Daily Southtown that would have made Joe Stalin's mustache fall out. Something like thirty one (31) of the very best veteran editors and staff writers were launched by Cyrus 'The Big Banana' Friedheim's fiat. In order to give one voice - a radical Leftist one at that - to his Propaganda Machine? Capitalist Comstraints? Changes in the Moon?

BTW- STNG lost huge in the 3rd Quarter ( roughly the time frame of the July 15th Manifesto)- Get This:

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. (NYSE: SVN - News) today reported a loss from continuing operations in the third quarter ended September 30, 2007, of $194.0 million, or $2.41 per basic share, versus a loss of $34.9 million, or $0.43 per basic share in the same period in 2006.

Today's frontpage of the Sun Times glares out about Kanye West's Mom's passing. Sorry for your loss, but Front Page? Then Comrade Reed continues Day Two of this week with the continuation of Sun Time News Group (STNG) Campaign to Demoralize the Chicago Police to the point of . . .? No return?

Here's La Pasionaria's opening salvo -

'When a police officer shoots a civilian, who should investigate? And how soon afterward can anyone conclude that the use of excessive force was justified?' (Click my post title for Cheryl Reed's whole bowl of bananas!)

Ok - that baits the question and swallows the bait - according to Reed, Police only shoot civilians - unless of course they are shooting other policemen/Police shoot people called civilians/ Police shoot people willy-nilly whom we call civilians/civilians are the targets of Police/ and on and on . . .

Here's what Wkipedia says about civilians - pretty nice - but go to the part that I have emboldened.

A civilian under international humanitarian law is a person who is not a member of his or her country's armed forces. The term is also often used colloquially to refer to people who are not members of a particular profession or occupation, especially by law enforcement agencies, which often use rank structures similar to those of military units.

The ICRC 1958 Commentary on IV Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War Article 4.4 states that "[e]very person in enemy hands must have some status under international law: he is either a prisoner of war and, as such, covered by the Third Convention, a civilian covered by the Fourth Convention, or again, a member of the medical personnel of the armed forces who is covered by the First Convention. There is no intermediate status; nobody in enemy hands can be outside the law. We feel that this is a satisfactory solution – not only satisfying to the mind, but also, and above all, satisfactory from the humanitarian point of view."[1] The ICRC has expressed the opinion that "If civilians directly engage in hostilities, they are considered 'unlawful' or 'unprivileged' combatants or belligerents (the treaties of humanitarian law do not expressly contain these terms). They may be prosecuted under the domestic law of the detaining state for such action".[2

Civilians directly engage in hostilities - like shooting up a house at 76th & Aberdeen last week and killing a remarkable young man named Steve Lyons. The Sun Times offered no opinion on the death of Steve Lyons, because he was killed by gangbangers and his murder will not reap a windfall for Loevy's Lawsuit Lotto League of Lawyers or give U of C Prof Craig Futterman more cash to conduct self-fulfilling prophecies of Police Misconduct. Kanye West's Mom died - it appears - of an accident in surgery. Sad. Front Page? One Voice! No Message.

It makes a simple guy like me wonder - Are The Lawyers making all the money off of my tax dollars by suing the Police Sun Times News Group (STNG) Investors? Are they Shareholders? They get one hell of a lot of coverage.

The guy who paid off South American death squads and scooped up the STNG, Cyrus Friedheim purged the staff at Daily Southtown Tally Me Bananas!

No opinions - one voice.

Hey, why are Chicago Police Officers and their families and friends buying the Chicago Sun Times? Let's Get Into It!

Get Law Dogs Without Due Process- Sun Times Takes The Gold Again!

"The names are the essence of it -- this feels a little bit like a desperate stunt on the part of the city with the vote of the City Council fast approaching," activist Jamie Kalven said.
( 'Take That, Wild Bills!')
From Today's The Working Man's Friend: 7/18/07
Leaving no stone unturned - or page uninked - The new Working Man's Pal - The Chicago Sun Times returns to its roots ? Never Mind.
Jon Loevy and all the other ambulance chasers who work out of a network web that includes criminals, University Think Tanks, Progressive Pols on the Shorts, Loud Mouthed Activists, Race Baiters, and other Working People ( the New Sun Times definition) should get to draw down on the Law Dogs. 662 by the Working Man's Pal report yesterday. http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/472560,CST-NWS-police18.article
This media bouquet is intended to allow Gold Creek Prospector Jon Loevy and G(old) Flint Taylor and other Lefty Lawyers allied with the Real Working Class ( the above listened to citizens - They're easily chilled- BTW) to shoot 21st Century Wild Bill's with Rat Writs!
By all accounts, Chicago Police Officers can get a Citizen Complaint while they are off-duty , on vacation, hopitalized or otherwise engaged. But the Worker's Pal - The New Chicago Sun Times never mentions this; for that information, one must go to another source - a real working man's ( sorry, that's person's) blogsite:
"So evidently, there is no longer any difference between sustained, not sustained, unfounded or exonerated anymore. The mere fact that a complaint was filed means you are guilty guilty guilty. What the hell? How are we supposed to be disciplined "meaningfully" if the complaint was without merit in the first place? As we've stated before, a civilian's criminal history cannot be brought into play except for purposes of (A) setting bail or (B) sentencing following conviction. Any other mention is overly prejudicial to the legal process. This lawsuit to produce the list of accused officers without taking into consideration the lack of appropriate standing of the complaint is asinine at best. We don't even want to think about what it is at the worst."
Please, do, read more here. Talk about a public execution of public servants!
The New Chicago Sun Times is here to protect those who have made a career of crime - Ambulance Chasers; Beef Barristers; Back Shooters. They gave it the full-court press, because they are the Full Court Press and their pals will press it in court until the gold is squeezed from the Public! How Progressive!
The New Chicago Sun Times is ALL over it! The trouble is working people like me are not buying it.
Hey, all of us who go to work every day but would not be considered working class folks by the Friend of the Working Man ( CST), let's get a Ghoul Pool started on when the Workers Daily - The New Chicago Sun Times strikes its colors - the Jolly Roger. Chilling!

Mary Mitchell Mt. Greenwood is not an Enclave - You Most Certainly Are a Dandy!

Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood is getting kicked around by the Sun Times pretty good because Mary Mitchell needs to pick at non-existent racists scabs. There are racists and there are racists. The Sun Times needs to be outrageous to sell a couple of papers. It has been a journalistic joke for some time. Writers likTim Novak and Steve Huntley seem alone in talent and integrity. Most seem to go-along to get along, like Frank Main focus on bashing cops. Some are laughably idiotic like Cathleen Falsani. The absolute worst is Mary Mitchell the race baiting, monotone, bitter columnist who believes that whites all own bullwhips and plantations. If Mary Mitchell were white, she would make David Duke seem like Gandhi.

Mary Mitchell writes only about Race ( and badly at that) and usually goes unanswered and unchecked by any editorial good sense. No fact checkers or grammarians at STNG. Mary Mitchell's job is to be outrageous!

Mitchell gets away with any and every load of toxic garbage because nitwits on her editorial board allow Mary Mitchell free range.

Here's some of today's offering:

Although four decades have gone by, the racial intolerance that drove residents in the Irish-Catholic enclave to picket for six months -- in rain, sleet, and snow -- until the blacks students graduated, was still evident on Sunday when they returned to the school to take a photograph. (ephasis my own - For Six Months 34/7?)

"The first thing that struck us was there was a swastika on the bottom of the assembly hall door," said Toni Lewis Anderson.

Now, forty years later, these seven talented, highly educated, and morally compassed adults are bothered by a couple of mopes and graffiti on a grammar school? All Seven? Magnificent! The Seven Ride! Good Lord.

Gross exaggeration at the very least and unsupported by any documentary evidence in support of the 1968 Tsunami of White ethnic hate against little black children. No matter, the Sun Times will print anything, but an apology.

First of all, Mt. Greenwood is not an enclave, nor is it an exclave. It is a neighborhood, but that point is beyond Mitchell. And so is comfort with language.

Trying to give Mt. Greenwood a 'defensive and under siege' tone to suit her purpose, Mitchell misuses words almost as deftly as she dodges the truth ( you know things that might actually have happened).

Mount Greenwood neighborhood borders two three or four suburbs as well as Chicago's Beverly and Morgan Park neighborhoods. It does not sit like a political island surrounded by Evergreen Park.

An enclave, Mary, is a political island within an another's territory.

Like the Kingdom of Lesotho in South Africa.

Ethnic enclaves exist within another dominant ethnic group - thus, a Chinatown or a Jewish Shtetl.

Blacks live in Mt. Greenwood. Not many. Mt. Greenwood is less diverse than Beverly or Morgan Park, where I live, but so what.

Mt. Greenwood is much more diverse than Englewood, Chatham, or Gresham. Mt. Greenwood is much more diverse than Highland Park or Winnetka.

Mary Mitchell and the Sun Times need to apologize to the people of Mt. Greenwood for painting them all with a broad brush.

That will not happen. No big deal. Don't buy the Sun Times, folks in Mt. Greenwood. I have not bought one in years.

People are not buying the Sun Times because its tacit policy of spitting on people does not win over a readership.

Mary Mitchell spits like a champ! She can not write a lick. As long as the Sun Times has Mary Mitchell they have no chance of being taken seriously.

Mary Mitchell is an enclave all to herself.

Sun Times Editorial Board Tries to Influence Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Run-Off Election

Image result for Sun Times 2008 front page west side riot photo of chicago cop bring it on

Mayor Rahm Emanuel has referred to city workers as neighborhood “anchors,” saying they are critical to the vibrancy of the city. Former Mayor Richard M. Daley, speaking more practically, used to warn the city could lose a large share of its middle class if the residency requirement were lifted. . . . For everybody else, as cops like to say, rules are rules. Sun Times

The only proper reply to such smarmy hypocrisy is " bite me."  Usually I am much more verbally adept, glib, and such but Sun Times has wowed me with this one.  Quoting from our Globalist Red China and Russian trade partner and University of Chicago don, Mayor Mumbles, takes the brie.

Today's screed is less about fairness than usual; it is about influencing the Fraternal Order of Police election run-off.

No paper has done more to drive a wedge between Chicago citizens and the Chicago Police officers who risk life, limb and personal reputation every time they answer roll call than the Chicago Sun Times.

From Mark Brown's "bring it on" editorializing a front page photo implying that a police officer was egging on already active West Side  rioters in 2008, to the Watchdogs' media lynching of a cop for the past month, to Andy Grimm's 'investigation' of a property owner who wears a badge, to this morning's Editorial Board's Harrumph of their 'phony baloney jobs,'  the Sun Times is the defender of the Chicago oligarchy.

Forrest Claypool could roll a crippled blind girl selling Girl Scout cookies at State and Madison and Tom Frisbie would mew, "Ever the Reformist, Claypool put an end to this Thin Mint hustler's hawking."  If a cop helped three little girls in Englewood, he would be violating their right to privacy.

The FOP is at a cross-roads.  The current leadership seems to do more to aid the comfortable and afflict the general membership, than it does to call out the hypocrisies and blatant corruption of City and County leadership.

The Sun Times has always nuzzled the rumps at City Hall more than it has sunk the fangs of a Tim Novak into the keisters of Rahm or Dame Preckwinkle.

I don't have a vote. I am not a cop.  I honor their work and am appalled by their treatment in the Chicago Media, so wrapped up with the people who created Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone ( Marxist lawyers, race baiting pastors and the University centered and funded Wrongful America Industry.

A vitalized FOP would be burr under the saddle of the comfortable oligarchs making millions off of the shrinking Chicago middle class and that could mean tougher access to weasels for Fran Spielman and Michael Sneed, doncha know?

This must stop.  Stop buying these rags.  Read The Second City Cop

Sun Times Mary Mitchell: Ever Angry One Note Samba

The New Chicago Sun Times: Making the Great Divide more palatable for its readers - the angry and self-satisfied - but cetainly not the people working everyday.

Chicago Sun Times columnist and WTTW commentator Mary Mitchell 'can't help but' think, feel and opine that every white person within shouting distance gets up each morning with a new way to inflict harm, scorn, and violence on black people. It makes her angry when a black woman does not see it the same way as contrary Mary.

Mary Mitchell worked on CST's Don Hayner's 'Great Divide' series. Ever since Don Hayner's The Great Divide' Series in 1993, Mary Mitchell has been the ever angry voice of Sun Times' on Race.
The premise of Hayner's piece continued the social engineering practices developed by the crowd at University of Chicago in the 1930's and '40s that became the boilerplate modi of Chicago Activism - Fair Housing, Red-lining, & etc.: white ethnics are evil racists - end of story.
They ( white ethnics [I'm a they]- read Catholic in this case) are clannish, close-knit, fierce, tribal, corrupt, vicious, bigoted and YET they make great neighbors. Wild head scratcher that last!
Today, Mary Mitchell objects to the views of a black woman who chooses to live with the clannish ( nine years by her word), witnessed the recent horrible events at Durkin Park and objected to the ever angry, quite contrary Mary's column that returned its rapt readers ( the lads pictured above) to those thrilling days of yesteryear - 'imaginary boundaries' - The Great Divide. What we think - (white or black working people) , according to the NEW Chicago Sun Times, is not really important, nor much of a deal to the boutique thinkers ( Cliffs Notes Intellects) who choose to live in very transient, upper-middleclass, university educated, single, few kiddies but take the oversized pooch to the cafe Neighborhoods: demographically - these neighborhoods are almost Exclusively white). These loud citizens admire Hugo, Che, and enjoy black people at events. They are rewarded with media friendly mainstreets features.

Well, to the clannish and the close-knit out here on the south side where race relations happens around the clock, according to the old socialist boiler-plate - 'racial boundaries are marked by imaginary north/south streets:' That 's what Mary Mitchell insists upon No Doubt she she snaps to Mrs. Wiley. Halsted is the racial boundary 1950's ; Ashland is the Boundary 1960's ; Western is the Boundary 1970's ; Kedzie '80's; Pulaski 90's; Cicero Present - The Mississippi River Coming Soon!
Keep Hate Alive! It sells papers. There is not a boundary. Little black kids play with white kids unafraid ( right ouside my kitchen window - the endless 108th Street sewer baseball league) of us 'white devils' in Morgan Park. No chilling atmosphere. No Jim Crow. No Bulwhipping. No 'Strange Fruit up in the Trees. In fact, Doc and the other black gents pop in to Keegan's Pub for some pints of Smithwicks or Guinness ( black is beautiful!) usually sharing a bag of Harold's with Nualla from Derry and stay until the opera music by that blind Italian singer runs out everyone but the maudlin.
The only time that the 'close-knit, clannish' code stuff surfaces is in Chicago newsprint and later aped by the lazy TV Media.

The Durkin Park beat-down, like the horrific near murder of tiny Ryan Rusch in Beverly Park, is fodder for people who love seeing race-baiting and scab picking sell papers. Race relations is a parlor game for faux intellects in transient upper-class - read Yuppie - neighborhoods: Starbucks chat Caffinated Revolution! We Mobilize! - Right After some sick mojito's at Nacional 21. I am surprised that John Conroy has not found a link between the Ryan Rusch beat-down and Jon Burge. The Chicago Reader gets good play in the Working Man's Pal!
Back to the Durkin Park spin:
Here's today's angry Mary Mitchell's venting against an eye-witness - a black woman who seems to like her neighbors:

If the facts go against the agenda, print the agenda!
From WTTW ( one of Mary Mitchell's Anger Gigs):http://www.wttw.com/main.taf?p=1,7,1,1,30
'Nevertheless, she worked tirelessly hard, and in 1991 after earning her degree, the Sun-Times hired her as its education reporter. Two years later, her editors paired her with Hayner to write a successful series on race, called "The Great Divide." '
http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1P2-4149828.html

That series really helped bring folks together - I suppose. Keeping the 'imaginary barriers' manned and weaponed sells more papers.

The Working Man's Pal - the NEW Chicago Sun Times seems to want more angry people - white and black - ignoring Mrs. Wiley and listening to the ever Angrier Mary - Let's Rumble!

No thanks. Clannish people like CFD Lt.Denny Cahill ( page 3 CSTs BTW) are too busy busting into burning houses in Englewood to breathe life back into a baby. Black tradesmen like Lonny Newman ( Leo High School 2004) are too busy knocking down 45 hours a week as a Local 597 Pipefitter and taking care of their family members back over in Roseland.

Tell them about what concerns working class people. Naw, continue to pick at scabs - if hurts heal, then you have nothing to talk about - Mary Mitchell will continue to pick fights with CST columnist Neil Steinberg for no reason and also the thousands of people like Mrs. Wiley of the Scottsdale neighborhood, because the truth does not fit the goofy agenda of NEW Chicago Sun Times.

Judas Goat - Come On Along! The New Sun Times: How they See Us.

On the left - apropos I suppose - is an ugly chap; pretty much the image of real working people in the tiny mind of the New Sun Times - ethnic, clannish, tight-knit (chilling)

Then there's the tonic to our ugliness-

The Godfather of Stole seen hot-footing it with the Godfather of Soul: The Hardest Working Man in Soul and the other guy - Brownie's Tonic!

The Rev. Al Sharpton - Mark Brown's Tonic for Chicago - will lead an Outrage Rally in the Loop on Monday. Touted as a National Kickoff for Al's National Action Network, the New Sun Times seemed to have missed this one and the Chicago Defender reported on the story to its readership. Kudos to the Chicago Defender's Kathy Chaney; she reported the facts that people needed to know: Who, What, Where, and Why. Why did the Working Man's Pal not mention this? It was Mad Love for Al This Week! Where's the Love? No Crowds; No Moola, Jasper!

http://www.chicagodefender.com/page/local.cfm?ArticleID=9695
The New Sun Times, The Working Man's Pal, has another agenda - they are interested in kicking sand on the bullies: All of Us Black, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latino, Inuit, Pacific Islander, White Working People. We are trolls. They still want us to buy their paper at Kean Gas, White Hen, Dunkin Donuts, or from the great underpaid people braving traffic offenders on Western Ave. & 87th, & Southwest Highway & Pulaski. That is Progressive Mind-set - insult people and demand that they agree with you. Maybe that happens at Mrs. Playfair's Country Day School, Cupcakes, but that don't play at Curie, Mt. Carmel,Maria, Queen of Peace, St. Lawrence, Morgan Park, Harper, Hubbard, and St. Rita - least of all among the Mighty Lions of Leo High School: Facta Non Verba, Muriel!

In the old days - (Pre- Progressive - Lawsuit - Nanny State - Chicago) bullies were the stacked and sinewed muscle guys who beat up tiny Polish barmaids - they still do -but today the real bullies are the Multi-degreed, pencil necked geeks who built enormous chips on their tit-willow-like shoulders at New Trier or Mrs. Hollowbreast's Seminary for Progressive Women, where they read Michael Eric Dyson's Holler If You Hear Me: Searching for Tupac Shakur and read crib sheets on every other work of literature. The New Bullies will merely suggest that they will 'see you in court'and the media gets moist in the eye. No bigger alligator tears shed than from the New Sun Times Editorial Board.

Great Sports Coverage at CST as is true with the Tribune! Elliot Harris, Mike Mulligan, Roman Modrowski, The Great Steve Tucker, Norm Chad, Rick Teleander, Joe Cowley, Tina Akouris - you are great working people- not a chance, Jay, you belong on the Editorial Board.

The New Sun Times has no respect for working people - people who actually work for a pay check, respect their neighbors, pay their taxes, obey the laws and do not expect to have someone else pay their way for them with taxes or through ridiculous lawsuits. We view activists as self-absorbed phonies and shell-game operators who never help anyone but themselves. Activists have convenient memories and suffer no guilt - that is for us trolls. CST tells us what it thinks about working people every day.

E.G.

Ryan Rusch (or any other black on white victims) nearly beaten to death in Beverly Park - 'crime of opportunity' No Biggie! Goofy looking white kids are fair game!

Disruptive CPS Kids Denied a Wee-wee break - Front Page

Durkin Park Invaded by Gangs - The Correlative Wages of Race Sin - It's on You Whitey: black women who agrees with whitey -shame on her.

Innocent Until Proven Guilty - Not if You Are a Chicago Police Officer - unless of course you happen to have sued the Department and used Jon Loevy's Lotto Ticket Lawfirm.

Thought crime is serious - most of us working people are very guilty of it - dangerously so. We may stop buying the Sun Times altogether - even to see how much more stupid it gets. Mary Laney - you are well quit of the Judas Goat.

From Wikpedia:

A Judas goat is a trained goat used at a slaughterhouse and in general animal herding. The Judas goat is trained to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination. In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter, while its own life is spared. Judas goats are also used to lead other animals to specific pens and on to trucks. The term is a reference to the biblical traitor Judas Iscariot.

Sun Times Crows For Elitist Chicago

Image result for boarded up properties in EnglewoodCityHall Vision for All  of us in most meighborhoods . . .Image result for vision of lake shore drive and that Vision for all of them and the tourists.

To thrive, a major city must keep re-imagining all of its streetscapes and neighborhoods. Sun Times
Without Vision the People Perish -The Book of Wisdom

The Chicago Sun Times has long lost any credibility to Chicagoans, people who live in its neighborhoods, attend its schools, pay its ridiculous fees and fines, while enduring the endless parade of grifters, grafters and goofs in public office, due to media stooging and propagandizing.

The Chicago Tribune has caught up to the Sun Times, but it continues to feign independence. Hal Hardick's bumshell of a yawn about working class boors needing to be replaced by working class boors of another race is an example Medill magic making Rahm seem to care, really care about the feelings of people universal.  Inspector Joseph Ferguson's pre-wrapped gift to Rahm needed more trumpet time.Image result for rahm and his friend Brrett Murphy

You see the pipe trades and tangential trades unions were the first to wildly support Mayor Emanuel for his ludicrous second term.  They delivered.  Rahm can not reciprocate and therefore must send a message - the door on 5 is closed.  He slit the throat of his 'friend' Barrett Murphy in very public manner, in order to shore up his support of an African American lawsuit against close-knit ethnic ( media code for white, Catholic and usually Irish racists) leadership and rank and file in the Chicago Water Department.
Image result for Chicago Trades for Rahm button
E-mails revealed that pipe trades people engage in racist, homophobic and sexist banter.  Lord have Mercy, what a shock.

E-mails in the future will reveal similar attitudes, because " Dominance hierarchies exist in numerous social species, and rank in such hierarchies can dramatically influence the quality of an individual’s life. " — Robert Sapolsky.  The sword cuts two ways. Irish out and African American's in - Oh, wait a minute.  That's right.  The Irish still are dominant hierarchy of most trade unions.

Rahm needs time to work out exactly what the seismic shift in ethnic hegemony in the Water Department will mean to him and his brother elites.

The Tribune plays for time.  The Sun Times plays for the long game. The long game is for the zero-matter voter - people who buy in and play along.

The Sun Times chirped this brain-fart of an editorial

Sun-Times Editorial Board- To thrive, a major city must keep re-imagining all of its streetscapes and neighborhoods.
Chicago succeeded on that score last week as state and local officials unveiled their latest redevelopment plans for Lake Shore Drive from Grand Avenue north to Hollywood Avenue.
We don’t know where the money will come from, or even how much it would cost overall. But we hope some of the beguiling notions laid out in the plans inspire city leaders sufficiently to  lift at least some of these ideas off of the drawing boards and move them to reality.Among the concepts are straightening the hazardous S-curve near Oak Street Beach a bit, adding park land and installing more bike and pedestrian pathways. The goal is to speed traffic, ease pedestrian and cycling congestion and minimize flooding on wavy days. Construction won’t begin until 2019 at the earliest.
Ideas that fell by the wayside in the planning process include a light rail line and sending the Drive underground through a tunnel below Oak Street Beach. (emphasis my own)

Now, why did I highlight those locations for this 'visionary' miracle?  They ain't in Englewood.  They ain't in Back of the Yards. They ain't in New City.  They sure as hell ain't in Brighton Park.

Vision for city means the whole city, not just the choice chops of real estate with pretty infrascture.

The elitist vision is Chicago -50th Ward,  47th Ward, 46th Ward, 44th Ward, 42rd Ward, 41st Ward, 33rd Ward, 32nd Ward, 26th Ward,  20th Ward, 11th Ward, 5th Ward, 4th Ward, 3rd Ward, 2nd Ward, 1st Ward.  Roughly 75th & Lake shore Drive to Evanston and O'Hare Airport to the Loop.

These sixteen Wards represent who and what is important to Progressive Democratic Chicago - the global city.
Image result for rahm and his friend Brrett Murphy
Englewood, Brainerd, Grand Crossing, Gresham, Morgan Park, Beverly Mount Greenwood will be allowed to be mirror images of Ford Heights, Robbins, Markham, Harvey and Dalton.

From the garbage grid through this plan of limited scope and vision, Progressive Democratic Chicago is about shrinking the map and eliminating the neighborhoods.

Rahm's vision would never consider placing a trades school in Englewood when one can turn neighborhood Lindblom High School into a Magnet school, benefiting very few students living within walking distance.

Rahm's vision, like Richie Daley's seeks to get the most for the fewest number of people and shed the skins of all others.

Imagine if Rahm, the two Chicago newspapers, the bow-tied tweedy goofs at our private but public policy driven universities actually cared about people, homicides, justice, or the future.

Imagine.  Putting resources into neighborhood values-centered education that would help kids from K-12 develop skills that would make them competitors, who placed service, pride in work and family above getting over on people. Kids could learn and develop the skills necessary to become pipe-fitters and engineers and gain immediate admission to apprenticeship programs.  Kids need to know that 1/8th is larger than 1/16th and much larger than 1/32nd -Rahm's CPS has not managed to divine that mystery for generations of kids. Imagine that.

Politicians do not imagine, they appropriate. A recent article in the Chicago Tribune by Anne Little told the story of Olmstead's Riverside.  That is vision.

Frederick Law Olmstead created the only ideal living space in Cook County - Riverside, IL.  He came to Chicago with a whole vision - you know holistic. He wanted a respite from Chicago and its teeming neighborhoods packed with competing ethnicities.

"The city, as yet, has no true suburb . . . in which urban and rural advantages are agreeably combined." Olmsted envisioned Riverside as a sylvan retreat where "the conveniences peculiar to the finest modern towns" would be combined with "the domestic advantages of a most charming country."

Daley and Rahm, with help from the globalist academics, pared down Chicago closing neighborhood saloons, eliminating parking, section 8 housing scams, paying off ludicrous lawsuits without the slightest challenge, looting pensions for foreign (Russian & Red China ) investments, race baiting, eliminating Ward autonomy until neighborhoods became empty of middle class values and initiatives and hope deserts.

The Sun Times has been the most obedient servant in these efforts.

Today's huzzah for a piecemeal streetscape for disposable income demographic as if it were Dan Burnham resurrected is just one more nail in Chicago's coffin.  Vision my broad manly ass.  Chiacgo is going to Hell - a Progressive Democratic Hell.

Hell is a place where the bartenders are physicists, the accountants are historians, the traffic engineers are experimental psychologists, and the clothing shops are run by geologists.
