Trump Hits the Canvas: A Boxer in a Mixed Martial Arts Cage

The Trump is down!  He's dazed.   He's confused.  The Trump's bleeding,  bleeding like a Russian Princess!  The refs are showing the four count and he's staring, longingly, for Ann Coulter and for her to give him one shred of 'Get up, Donny and Knock 'em into the cheap seats,' but this willowy blond is one cold cucumber.  This dish is colder than a mother-in-law's kiss, colder than Samantha's knockers on a brass broomstick, Fans!  He's on his own and the refs are counting faster than a speeding ticket in Martha's Vineyard. It don't look good.

The problem is that the President has been taking shots to the noggin every waking moment since 11/09/2016 and without putting his guard up at all. In boxing one might call the President an ivory head.  Most call him a can of tomatoes.

The 45th President of the United States was elected primarily on his promise to drain the Washington D.C. swamp and swamp ain't liking it.  Swamp critters on both sides of the aisle want him gone.  Elected officials, lobbyists, journalists, academics who suckle greedily off of Lady Liberty's rack of plenty, corporatist players, Marxist oligarchs and NSA spooks with limitless loyalty to the Obama regime are Organized for Action!

The Russia Bullshit is just that.  And Americans are ravenous for bullshit - hence the powerful appeal of Barack Obama.

Donald Trump has pleased me as a voter.  He has displeased me wildly as a spectator.  He's a boxer suckered into a Tag-Team Mixed Martial Arts Caged Death Match - he's a boxer fighting a queue of MMA ninjas; as soon as he fends off one, the opposition and the allies tag off to pummel the guy.

His corner men?  Who the hell knows.  Trainer Reince Priebus was more Mitt than Romney and a doughy sap easily led into a very public pantsing on CNN, FOX, or MSNBC.  Cornerman Jared Kushner?  Who takes advice from a guy named Jared?  Christ Almighty.  Cut man, Steve Bannon is hated by all of the creeps on this planet and he seems to be getting no ear from the guy he is patching up.   Bannon seems like a guy I would want in my corner.  When all of creeps hate you, you must be doing something right.

I want to see Trump succeed, but I will be satisfied if he can go the distance and keep the DNC from political power.

Trump is no sweetheart and he is no Brian Sutherland either.

He has the skills and know-how, but he is alone in a tanked fight.  Some might call what we are witnessing a bloodless coup ( unless you count Seth Rich - I do).  As far back as February, this seemed more than evident:

I can’t believe I’m writing this after the administration has been in office for 26 days, but here goes. The idea that Donald Trump is now inexorably on a path to impeachment has taken almost gleeful hold in the wake of the Michael Flynn resignation among liberal elites and anti-Trumpers generally—and everybody better stop and take a deep breath and consider what might arise from this. This isn’t fire we’re playing with, it’s a nuclear war.
That Trump might somehow be deus-ex-machina-ed out of public life has been a consistent feature of the past 20 months. He won’t run gave way to He’s only in it for the publicity to He only wants to show Obama he’s not to be trifled with but he doesn’t want to be president so he’ll drop out to We’ll deny him a first-ballot victory at the convention and then the party pooh-bahs can take over and find a new candidate to His poll numbers are so bad he’ll quit and let Mike Pence run against Hillary to The Access Hollywood tape will finally do him in…and then he won.                                             Now that he’s president, the question I’m asked constantly is “will he serve out his first term.” The wish is father to the hope here; only the vilest and most monstrous of crimes has led to a negative answer to that question (save in the case of the first President Harrison, who caught a cold from not wearing a coat on Inauguration Day in 1841 and died a month later). No one has ever willingly or voluntarily given up the presidency. . . .
Already pro-Trump voices on the right are calling the leaks that led to Michael Flynn’s firing evidence of an attempted coup d’etat. The fevered use of such terms is part and parcel of the way in which social media amplifies the melodrama of daily news stories.
I am myself unnerved by the evidence of high-level lawlessness in the Flynn matter, but a “coup d’etat” refers specifically to a military ouster of a leader, not a leak-driven campaign using the press to nail someone. This is sure to persist, though, if the Flynn-Russia matter accelerates—and if the reluctant House and Senate do begin investigating the matter in earnest. If the language surrounding the investigation remains florid and purple, if Democrats try to please their Trump-hating constituents by screaming impeachment and liberal media tries to garner audience by jumping openly and vociferously on the bandwagon, the Trumpians will respond in kind by stirring the pot through their media and their argumentation. Commentary
Coup? Maybe.  Slaughter the bum?  To be sure.

With Clapper, Comey, Rice, Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Graham, Schummer, and Obama sub rosa and with billions of dollars hitting your kidneys, liver, heart, ears, mouth and nose every waking moment - a fight in a phone booth with Conor McGregor might be a fine and relaxing tonic.

Donny, Take a swig and spit!

Durbin Goes Goofier Than Usual - Bye God; Bye Jerusalem

Now, lookee here, Dick . . .read that exactly as Samantha Power* wrote it for me.  I don't know what it says . . .something about Tel Aviv, or Jerusalem . . .blame Fox and get all Dick Durbin. . .Folks'll eat it up. .

Senator Dick Durbin - in his own words and with his own fatuously timid soul.

Yeah, Dick, Fox TV wrote that swell DNC platform.

This boiled cucumber of a man has given us these gems -

Senator Roland Burris -Which side was Dick on? In, Out, Stop Him, Hug Him.

Gitmo - American Troops are Nazis

Abortion - Always Happy to Help

Housing for Terrorists - Visit Thompson, Illinois Melon Capital of the World

Defender of Religious Liberty - As if

Hybrid Cars - Fewer Tornados

and so much more.

A member of the president’s National Security Council who shares Noam Chomsky’s foreign-policy goals? An influential presidential adviser whom 1960s revolutionary Tom Hayden treats as a fellow radical? A White House official who wrote a book aiming to turn an anti-American, anti-Israel, Marxist-inspired, world-government-loving United Nations bureaucrat into a popular hero? Samantha Power, senior director of multilateral affairs for the National Security Council and perhaps the principal architect of our current intervention in Libya, is all of these things…

With the Last Kennedy Asleep in God's Peace, Perhaps the Democratic Party Will Snap Out of It!

When it came to the white ethnic working class from which his father came, Kennedy just plain didn’t get it. Whether it was court-ordered busing in Boston in the 1970s, or the affirmative action policies that stymied the careers of so many of his family’s traditional voters, Kennedy never grasped the depth of the blue-collar frustration as he veered left. And what infuriated them even more was that so many of them had grown up in homes where on one side of the mantel was a faded photo of the martyred JFK, and on the other the pope, with a dried-up palm frond given out at Mass on Palm Sunday between them.
Howie Carr Boston Herald

The last Kennedy of the Camelot Myth has gone to meet God. The goofballs are doing a Michael Jackson on Ted Kennedy.

As a Democrat, as Catholic, as an Irish Catholic Ted Kennedy was far from my cup of tea. He was huge, he was powerful and he was a presence in American politics, but more so he seemed to command the tiller of Democratic National Party and all the worst elements within it - Planned Parenthood, Identity Politics, Third World Apologists and Cultural Elitists. Those forces allowed Ted Kennedy to amass power and retain it and it was okay with Ted Kennedy. Now he is gone.

The Democratic Party might just snap out of it and return to the principles that JFK and RFK adhered to, but their rudderless younger brother sailed away from.

Real Labor and real working class Americans need leaders in the Democratic Party. Locally, I know many such women and men, but Nationally (Judicial/Executive/Legislative Branches) they do not exist.

PACS -ACORN/SEIU/ACLU and Planned Parenthood control who gets to step on the National stage as a Democrat.

The Media takes its orders from the PACs and Corporations in bed with them. However, now that the last Plantagenet/Kennedy has returned to the mythopoeic fogs and the Democratic Party is spiralling out of control due to the amateurism of the falconers ( Obama/Pelosi/Reed/Dodd/Gore and their masters) in this debate on Health Care Reform, perhaps a leader with genuine principles - A Catholic, a Protestant, a Jew, or a Muslim, might rank an offering from Planned Parenthood, SEIU, ACLU,ACORN or GE as beneath her dignity and refuse to parse their lies as truths.

Perhaps, I will get a starting nod from Lovie Smith at the QB spot for the Bears Opener against Green Bay on September 13th. Perhaps.

McCain/Palin Will Upset Chicago Tribune, Hollywood,MSNBC,ACORN, Ayers, Wright, . . .

John McCain and Sarah Palin are poised to pull off a victory over a completely artificial construct - Senator Barack Obama. From the day, that Senator Obama announced his run for the White House in Springfield, IL -in shadow of Abraham Lincoln's Myth, Obama has been choreographed, scripted, produced and marketed by a powerful force that is no friend of the Middle Class.

However, voters are quietly gearing up to send a message: John McCain will be President of the United States. The stakes are too great to simply go along with Oprah, Barbra Steisand, P-Diddy, MoveOn. Org, Daily KOs, Huffington Post, Newseek, NBC, Campbell Brown, SEIU, ACORN, the DNC, Billy Ayers, Tony Rezko, Allison Davis, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Ward Churchill, Chris Mattews, Jonathon Alter, Colin Powell, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Chris Dodd, CNN, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and 84% of the Eurpeans Polled by Camp Obama. Obama has played Race and will continue to do so.

Newsweek's Jonathon Alter has done this for months and wants to scare the kids with more:

the three fifths of the electorate that shows up once every four years to vote for president but mostly hates politics. These are the 75 million folks who didn't vote in the primaries. They don't read newsmagazines or newspapers, don't watch any cable news and don't cast their ballots early. Their allegiance to a candidate is as easily shed as a T shirt. Several million moved to Obama through September and October; they'd heard he handled himself well in the debates. Then, in the last week, the LIVs swung back to the default choice: John McCain. Some had good reasons other than the color of Obama's skin to desert him; many more did not. In October, a study by the Associated Press estimated that Obama's race would cost him 6 percent. The percentage was smaller, but still enough to give the presidency to McCain.

Nope. Cry Race all you want. Obama is perceived to be a good script reader and dandy presence and that is all. Chicago news media, with two exceptions Tim Novak and John Kass, have been Obama's propaganda arm.

Obama has Propaganda and the threat of Race and that won't do it.

Against this we had a guy in Ohio ask a question of Obama and watched the Media try to destroy him with the help of Ohio State agencies. Voters heard Obama - unscripted, off-message and without spinners. He is out to take away the Middle Class. No debate and no exceptions. Obama Ayers Democrat and his record with Woods Fund and Chicago Annenberg Challenge prove that - former Chicago Schools CEO Paul Vallas outed Obama and Ayers. They did nothing to Reform Chicago Public Schools.

I have polled my neighbors and witnessed the McCain/Palin signs in this traditional blue collar community. Cops, firemen, nurses, bank employees, teachers, skilled tradesmen, small business operators and service employees are voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin.

McCain will carry my precinct and the Country.

McCain/Palin: Thompson on Palin and What Most Americans Know; The Media Will Not Allow It To Be So

Senator Fred Thompson states the case for Governor Sarah Palin. Most people I know feel the same way; yet, turn on the Tube, glance at the paper, or listen to the Radio and one might think otherwise. Sarah Palin scares the hell out of kooks and phonies - the power structure of my Party - the Democratic Party -is controlled by kooks and phonies.

Corporate NBC, CBS,ABC, most newspaper conglomerates like Tribune Company, Time/Warner, CNN, and affiliated DNC propaganda organs have done a pile-on of Sarah Palin and John McCain unknown hitherto in American politics.

This morning Senator Fred Thompson offers the view shared by most of the people I know - I know many people. I raise money from fabulously wealthy folks, drink coffee in the morning at Kean Gas Station with ComEd workers, Peoples Gas workers, County, State and City of Chicago workers and live among cops, firefighters, school teachers and a few community activists. I work at a Catholic high school ( Leo High School) that serves the poorest black families in Chicago. Two Leo Graduates were McCain Delegates - BTW. Here is how we feel.

When John McCain selected Governor Sarah Palin, as his running mate, the Democrats and their far-left constituency let out a primal scream that could be heard from sea to shining sea. How dare he choose someone that they and their pals in the media had not had a chance to vet (i.e. libel, slander, and otherwise and otherwise eviscerate). Ah, but it was not too late. These seekers of “a new kind of politics” poured torrents of malicious abuse upon her and her family.

Plane loads of scandal mongers, lawyers and other truth seekers became more numerous in Alaska than the polar bear, as they rallied local Democrats and disgruntled Republicans to their cause.

Here was a woman who chose to have children and a career. Aging Washington socialites weighed in with newly discovered sensitivity for mothers with careers outside the home. Here was a woman who became upset because her ex-brother-in-law had tasered her nephew and threatened her father. The Democrats and their friends had to save the country from a woman like this.

Governor Palin’s every comment was scrutinized by the media and judged against what Jefferson or Lincoln might have said. Never mind that her counterpart, the 30-year-Washington-veteran Joe Biden, apparently is unaware that America relies upon coal for a lot of it’s electricity or that he recently referred to a top level U.S. official’s visit to Iran that never happened. That’s just Joe being Joe – protected by the sheer number of his gaffes and the fact that he is Barack Obama’s running mate.

For a while there it seems the fact that so many uninformed yahoos (average people) love her was going to drive the main stream media nuts. They had a hard time grasping the fact that people like her because she is precisely the kind of politician that everyone has been saying they’ve wanted: Independent, not a captive of the Beltway including a Congress with a 9% approval rating, who will take on hacks of either party; who has the tenacity to win and the courage to fight for the long-term benefit of those she represents.

Apparently what no one counted on was that a politician like this would actually show up on the national scene. The media was caught by surprise. The media doesn’t like surprises.

Naturally, there was a backlash to the treatment of Governor Palin and cooler-headed critics have largely concentrated on what they claim is her lack of qualifications. Of course much of the criticism of her qualifications reveals the application of the same old double standard. Less accomplished governors in times past have been considered to be perfectly “well-qualified” as VP picks.

However, it is a legitimate issue and should be taken seriously. I especially take seriously the criticism of people such as New York Times columnist David Brooks who I consider to be an insightful analyst of the political scene. He recently wrote that governance is hard. It requires acquired skills. Most of all it requires prudence. What is prudence? Among other things, it is the ability to absorb information and discern the essential current of events – the things that go together and the things that will never go together. It is the ability to engage in complex deliberations and to understand which arguments have the most weight. How is prudence acquired? Through experience. Experience allows a leader to judge what is important and what is not. He added, “Sarah Palin has many virtues. If you wanted someone to destroy a corrupt establishment, she’d be your woman. But the constructive act of governance is another matter.”

One can hardly disagree with the desirability of our leaders having the qualities that Brooks describes (putting aside the question of how many of our leaders who are not Sarah Palin have demonstrated these qualities). But there are other important qualifications, such as will, courage, and determination. Frankly, an infusion of these qualities into our body politic is desperately needed – not just to raise hell with the establishment, but to speak the hard truth about unpleasant choices facing our country. To push for choices that will, in the long term, benefit our country, our children and our grandchildren. In other words, things which “prudent” leaders are all too often reluctant to do.

For many years we have failed to address looming problems that will prove catastrophic to our nation. It’s not because we are bereft of leaders with great experience. And it is not because they do not understand the “essential current of events.” They know these things all too well. It is because they do not have the political courage to do anything about it.

Recently, a Washington Post editorial pointed out that even before the recent financial crisis on Wall Street, the Government Accountability Office issued a report declaring the federal government on an “unsustainable long term fiscal path.” This was primarily due to the projected cost of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, brought on by an aging population. We will be spending $41 trillion dollars more on these entitlements in the next 75 years than we will receive in payroll taxes and premiums, although the crunch will actually begin much sooner than that. And we already owe Japan and China about $500 billion each.

David Walker, the former Comptroller General of the United States calls this problem much larger than the recent financial rescue plan. In fact he calls it the “super sub-prime crisis.” Which bring me to the current sub-prime crisis.

Wall Street and Washington were full of people who were “qualified and experienced” in the field of finance. Sen. Barack Obama, for one, has a great deal of experience in the housing field. So do many of his closest advisers. I would have traded some of that experience for a few more leaders with less experience and more courage to buck the establishment and tell the truth about what was happening.

This brings me back to Governor Sarah Palin, and why I say that courage and political will are at the very top of the “qualification” requirements for today’s leaders. So the question is, how does Sarah Palin compare on that score with Biden and Obama, for that matter? Very well, I’d say.

Trust Teachers, Not Test Scores - The Pink 'I Had and Abortion' DNC Smart Wear 2008 - No Wonder the Convention is a Trainwreck!

The Public School Lobby which has helped disinterested parents to destroy American Public Education while still screaming for more tax-payer dollars to waste, has a delegate black felt Cat In the Hat style hat for their loudmouths - TRUST TEACHERS, NOT TEST SCORES!

Every time I think that the bar has been raised on stupid, the Progressives who control the Democratic National Committee move it up a few more notches.

Here in Illinois there is another stick-up artist threatening to keep kids out of school on opening day - to Save the Children! Meeks gave the Kids a Get out of School Free Pass; now, what happens when the truant kids are hurt - or worse?

Get Rev./Senator Meeks needs one of them Hats! He is the Cat - Put on the Hat!

Check it out - white, black, red, yellow and pinkish Liberals!

DENVER -- It was pretty easy to figure out that Monica Stonier cares about education, that Johnnie Patton supports more energy conservation and that Ruth Rudy wants the party to unify behind presidential nominee Barack Obama.

You could see it in the hats they were sporting on the floor of the Democratic National Convention on Monday.

Stonier, a 32-year-old delegate from Vancouver, Wash., had covered a large Dr. Seuss hat with black felt and written in white, "Trust Teachers, Not Test Scores" on one side and "Teachers for Obama" on the other.

"I think this is a great place to get a little attention on what No Child Left Behind is doing to our kids and to our teachers," the instructional coach and former middle school teacher said. "We don't have the innovative thinking we need."

If these Tax addicted junkies would go into rehab for a few weeks ( Jonesing is Bitch!), or were in the least bit interested in Real School Reform - with Accountability for Teachers at the Top - they would get behind Real School Choice - Vouchers.

Nothing else will help.

John McCain: Americans, or Demographic Victims?

There is a clear choice in our upcoming Presidential Election - a unified America of serving citizens, or Balkan Republic of demographically cut interest groups. John McCain or the Democratic Candidates.

Senator Obama's Phildelphia Lecture on Race identified groups of voters that he needs to shore up the gaps widening in his campaign.

While explaining Black America to America, Barack Obama tossed some Hope to ethnic white blue collar voters ( how about that for a sociological disection of persons), Hispanics and Jews.

JIM VANDEHEI & JOHN F. HARRIS (click my post title for thefull report) reported that:

For working-class whites — whose coolness toward Obama helped tilt Ohio to Hillary Rodham Clinton — Obama spoke with understanding about why they dislike busing and affirmative action. “Like the anger in the black community, these resentments aren’t always shared in polite company,” he said.

For Hispanics, who have sided with Clinton in the vast majority of states this election, he lashed pundits scouring polls for signs of tension between “black and brown” and said the two communities face a common heritage of discrimination and inadequate public services.

Finally, Obama sought to connect with white Jewish voters — potentially one of the rawest nerves of all amid the Wright controversy — denouncing those blacks who see “the conflicts in the Middle East as rooted primarily in the actions of stalwart allies like Israel, instead of emanating from the perverse and hateful ideologies of radical Islam.”

It will take weeks, at least until the April 22 Pennsylvania primary, to know whether all of Obama’s political and cultural base-touching succeeded.

John McCain speaks to all Americans, not balakanized identity groups clamoring for their piece of the pie. 'When, oh when, will America have moral capacity to elect a third generation Laplander Swedenborgian?'

John McCain laid out these points last year for all Americans.

Americans have lost faith and trust in their government - Americans have lost trust that their government and its elected officials will serve the Nation's interest and not their own. Special interests have too much influence in Washington. Americans want a courageous leader who will stand up to the trial lawyers and labor bosses and other special interests, govern by principle rather than political expedience, keep their promises, and solve problems instead of leaving them for our children. Restoring Americans' confidence in their government is what's at stake in this election.

Americans want judges who will strictly interpret the law and not legislate from the bench - The next president will appoint many federal judges and perhaps even a Supreme Court justice. The recent victory on partial birth abortion is an example of how important the Supreme Court is in protecting our values and interpreting the law as it is written. America needs a president who will provide strong moral leadership. A Democrat president will appoint judges who make law with disregard for the will of the people, but to the cheers of those advancing a liberal social agenda. America needs a leader who recognizes that that the people and states should decide what's best, not the courts. The future of the U.S. Supreme Court is what's at stake in this election.

We are the Captains of our Fate, or Victims. Clear choice to me.

John McCain: Daily Kos - Why John McCain Will be President

One of the reasons Regular Democrats like me will be voting for John McCain has to do with unbelievable and shameful state of the national Democratic Party. One would think that every Democrat was a loudmouthed smarmy jerk like Bill Maher, or Keith Olbermann.

Not so. Even a solid Democrat like Geraldine Ferraro could be targeted by the morons who post on Daily Kos the Goebbels of Moveon.org and funded by the Magyar Millionaire Stalin George Soros.

Get this -
Ferraro: Give it to the Woman, Not to the Black Guy by DHinMI
Wed Mar 12, 2008 at 07:16:23 AM PDT
The latest in the disgusting story of longtime racist Geraldine Ferraro:

"Sexism is a bigger problem," Ferraro argued. "It's OK to be sexist in some people's minds. It's not OK to be racist."

Hey, former Congresswoman Ferraro, I've got a message for you from the 21st Century: it's not OK to be sexist OR racist. It's not OK to create a hierarchy of persecution and apply it to Democratic politics. It's not OK to imply, as you've seemed to be implying in recent days, that because women supposedly have it harder, that Hillary Clinton should get an easier path or that it's OK to denigrate Barack Obama's achievements by characterizing them as arising from advantages supposedly afforded to African-Americans.

Here's where the goof really lets fly -

Ferraro is playing a feminist George Wallace. Wallace appealed to insecure whites who felt that their struggles and hard work entitled them to live in all white neighborhoods, and elitist judges shouldn't be able to force them to accept black neighbors and integrated schools. Ferraro is trying to appeal to insecure white women who believe they've put in their time and now they're entitled to get their woman president, and nobody should be allowed to take away their presidency and give it to the Black guy who hasn't earned it.

Well heck; take Gerry out back and shoot her Comrade! That's Change for you!

What a clown Opera! Geraldine Ferraro, welcome. You have served your country honorably and this how our Party treats you. Hillary is hitting the silk on you and Obama is sending out his goof ghilies like oxygen deprived clown linked above.

Click my post title for Daily Kos's undignified and stupid smear ofGeraldine Ferraro.

John McCain: Howard Dean is a Trainwreck from Way Back

This Goof, Howard Dean, takes a hint like a deaf geek given the brush-off by some gorgeous ankle at a Dance for Swells!

First off Deano - No One ever good news'd me with 'Patrick' - the ears go shut on that salutation.

Secondly, Deano -'In response, McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said McCain has done nothing more than Dean did in 2003, when he refused public financing for his unsuccessful presidential bid.

"Howard Dean's hypocrisy is breathtaking given that in 2003 he withdrew from the matching funds system in exactly the same way that John McCain is doing today," Rogers said in a written statement.' Click Toitle for full CNN text.

Deano thinks that Republicans are hateful - From Meet the Press:

Meet The Press / Sunday) Howard Dean in an interview with Tim Russert on Meet the Press admits that he “Hates Republicans and everything they stand for”. Amazing that the Democratic Party is looking to this luntic to save their erroding membership. They must have a death wish! I know they can do better than the Deaniac. Yes — Howard… you are really going to convert moderate Republicans to vote for a Democratic president in the next presidential election with that rhetoric! The crashing and burning is still underway… We suppose it is nature’s way of cleaning house.

Shoot, Howard, my in-laws are Republicans and some of my neighbors. I'm voting for John McCain and I'm Thiiiiiiiiiiisssssss close to jumping ship altogether.

I have not sent a nickle to the DNC sinec Howard Dean grabbed the throtle - BYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! Old Number 2 won't make the sharp turn to left Howard! Trainwreck a'comin'!

Here's Deano's note to me.

Dear Patrick,

There was a lot of talk last week about John McCain's blatant hypocrisy on ethics and integrity in Washington.

Here we go again.

McCain is now breaking the law by ignoring the campaign spending restrictions for the Republican primary that came when he asked for federal matching funds -- funds he used as collateral on a loan that helped keep his campaign going.

But now that the lobbyist and special interest money has started pouring into his campaign, he's trying to back out of the promise he made just a few months ago. They're feeding so much cash into his bank account, this "reformer" wants nothing to do with federal campaign finance laws anymore.

That's why today, we're filing a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission demanding that John McCain be held to the campaign finance laws. Trying to back out shows a total lack of integrity and honesty -- he made a deal with the American people to to abide by the law, and in return, he was guaranteed taxpayer money that he used to back a loan.

Patrick, I'd like you to add your name in support of our complaint, and ask as many people as you can to sign on. American taxpayers made a deal with John McCain -- now that he's flush with lobbyist cash, he wants to pretend that it never happened.

Sign on right now:

http://www.democrats.org/McCainBusted

Here's the background on the situation.

A few months ago, John McCain applied for and was approved to receive federal matching funds. Because he couldn't find enough people to fund his campaign, he was also forced to apply for a $4 million line of credit, which he secured by using the federal matching funds as collateral.

By taking the federal funding, he agreed to spend no more than $57 million until the Republican convention. But so far, his campaign has spent at least $49 million -- leaving him with less than $10 million to campaign with through September.

Now that he's won the nomination and has the support of the Republican lobbyist and special interest machine, he's trying to ignore that the whole thing ever happened. He recently wrote a letter to the FEC telling them that he was backing out, even though the FEC is very clear that any request to withdraw from the agreement must be approved; you can't just change your mind and take it back -- legally, you have to be given permission.

McCain isn't asking because he knows he'll never be granted permission, and he doesn't want to have to accept the funding restrictions he agreed to when he used the money as collateral for a loan. He's ripping a page right from George Bush's playbook: ignoring the laws when they aren't convenient and hoping no one will notice.

Stand up and show him that hundreds of thousands of people have noticed -- he can't change the rules in the middle of the game because he doesn't like how things are going for him:

http://www.democrats.org/McCainBusted

Using government programs when it's politically convenient and breaking the rules when it's not ... remind you of anyone?

Just like George Bush, John McCain thinks he's above the law. McCain poses as a reformer, but seems to think reforms apply to everyone but him.

Time to send him a message.

Howard Dean

Yeah, Just Like Bush, Howard. Like a mirror image. McCain has my message - "I fully support McCain; McCain has my money - which used to go to a Democrat Candidate; and McCain has my vote, again." McCain is a good man - you, Howard, are a piece of work in progress.

John McCain: The DNC's Worst Nightmare! I'm a Democrat and I love John McCain!

Here is the script for a new John McCain ad - 'The Democrats Worst Nightmare.'

Hey, Democrats love John McCain - all the Democrat's I talk to in my part of Chicago, anyway. Now, the balloon-heads running the Democratic National Committee - Deano and his Lefty crew - Yes, McCain gives them the Night Terrors.

But, good folks who have long voted the Party of Al Smith, FDR, Harry Truman, JFK, Pat Moynihan, Scoop Jackson and Joe Liberman love John McCain.

Here's the script:

Script For "Democrats' Worst Nightmare" (:30-Web)

CHYRON: What keeps Democrats up at night?

JOHN EDWARDS: John McCain

JOHN EDWARDS: John McCain

HILLARY CLINTON: Senator McCain

JOHN EDWARDS: John McCain

BARACK OBAMA: John McCain

BARACK OBAMA: John McCain

HILLARY CLINTON: John McCain

BARACK OBAMA: John McCain

JOHN EDWARDS: John McCain

DEMOCRAT STRATEGIST BOB BECKEL: The Democrats do not want to run against John McCain.

CHYRON: They don't want to face him

THE WASHINGTON POST'S BOB WOODWARD: If you ask Democrats privately, what do you fear most? The answer is John McCain.

BOB BECKEL: We'd much prefer to run against Romney.

SYNDICATED COLUMNIST ROBERT NOVAK: The Democrats I talk to are really worried about a McCain versus Clinton race.

CHYRON: The only Republican who can beat Clinton or Obama

TALK SHOW HOST LARRY ELDER: When you match McCain up against Barack Obama or against Clinton, he is the only one of the prominent Republican candidates that wins.

BECKEL: It's a nightmare from my standpoint.

CHYRON: John McCain: The Democrats' worst nightmare

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approve this message.

AD FACTS: JOHN MCCAIN 2008 WEB AD, "THE DEMOCRATS' WORST NIGHTMARE"

John McCain Was "The Real Star" Of Democrat Debate This Week, As His Name Came Up 15 Times During Course Of Night. "The Real Star? The three Democrats were on stage and President Bush was the primary focus of their complaints last night but Republican John McCain took center stage for part of the debate when Edwards predicted that the Arizona Senator will likely become the Republican nominee. Bush's name was mentioned 27 times while McCain's name came up 15 times during the course of the night." (Vaughn Ververs, "Starting Gate: Mud Wrestling Leaves Nobody Looking Clean," CBS News, 1/22/08)

Democrat Strategist Bob Beckel: "The Democrats Do Not Want To Run Against John McCain." "We rooted for Huckabee tonight and we didn't get there. The Democrats do not want to run against John McCain." (Fox News' South Carolina Primary Coverage, 1/19/08)

The Washington Post's Bob Woodward: "If You Ask Democrats Privately, What Do You Fear Most? The Answer Is John McCain." "Let me just point out this: If you ask Democrats privately, what do you fear most? The answer is John McCain. That McCain -- we were talking earlier about transparency and openness, "straight talk," Chris was talking about the important notion, personal characteristic of authenticity. McCain has even something more, and that is -- and this is Democrats talking privately -- moral authority. And with the moral authority of his background, his kind of unflinching backing in the Iraq War, not just of the surge, but at the beginning when McCain diagnosed the problem in the war. We didn't have enough troops from the beginning. And he kept hammering on that. So there's a certain consistency, moral authority, carries a lot of weight." (CNN's "Larry King Live," 1/8/08)

Democrat Strategist Bob Beckel: "We'd Much Prefer To Run Against Romney." "We don't want him [McCain] to have the nomination. We'd much prefer to run against Romney. Certainly prefer to run against Huckabee. And probably our best shot we'd have against Giuliani." (Fox News' South Carolina Primary Coverage, 1/19/08)

Syndicated Columnist Bob Novak: "The Democrats I Talk To Are Really Worried About A McCain Versus Clinton Race." "The Democrats I talk to are really worried about a McCain versus Clinton race. They would love to have Romney in because they don't think he's electable." (Fox News' South Carolina Primary Coverage, 1/19/08)

Talk Show Host Larry Elder: "When You Match McCain Up Against Barack Obama Or Against Clinton , Is The Only One Of The Prominent Republicans That Wins." "It is certainly true that McCain -- when you match McCain up against Barack Obama or against Clinton , he is the only one of the prominent Republican candidates that wins. So he is probably going to be a more formidable candidate ..." (Fox News' South Carolina Primary Coverage, 1/19/08)

Democrat Strategist Bob Beckel: "It's A Nightmare From My Standpoint." (Fox News, 12/3/07)

John McCain Has Them Really Scared! DNC - It seems clowns can read as well as write smear letters

Hokey Smokes! Deano's Trackers is Tracking me! Understand this - I am quits with the Democratic Party - Nationally. I still have high regard for my neighbors and friends in the local Democratic Party and they can count on my financial, moral and physical support.

But the Party kidnapped by Deano and Moveon.org; Hollywood Ninnies; Abortionists; Lefty Think-tanks and 501(c) 3s and Trotskyites pretending to be labor leaders:SEIU is no longer the Party of Al Smith,FDR, Harry Truman, JFK, LBJ, Scoop Jackson, TIP O'Neill, and Joe Lieberman.

The DNC is a Clown Opera - Opera Buffa! Evidenced in the sad attempt to solicit money with the smear of a great American - Senator John McCain. Please look at my two previous posts in this matter.

Click my post title for John McCain's exchange with Tim Russert on Meet the Press. He more than clarified his position on Iraq. The clowns are trying to add to their numbers. Americans go to circus to watch clowns, but recoil from them out of those rings - especially the political ring.

Adios, Punchinellos!
