Obama has been wrong on every one of his forays into "Let's Have A National Chat on Race," or this is a "Teachable Moment" and has been backed with the full force of his Justice Department and the American National News Media.

Here is the fruit of that labor.

NEW YORK -- Wyclef Jean and the Rev. Al Sharpton benefited from money given to them by a suspected drug lord, according to court testimony in New York City.

James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, a hip-hop mogul on trial in Brooklyn federal court for drug trafficking, money laundering and witness tampering, told an IRS agent about his interaction with the celebrities, according to testimony in Rosemond's trial.

"He said that he had given Wyclef Jean $60,000 in cash drug proceeds, as a loan," agent Marc Van Driessche testified.

Jean, a musician, self-proclaimed philanthropist and an ex-candidate for the Haitian presidency, did not know the money was tainted, Rosemond told the agent.

Rosemond said he gave money to Sharpton's National Action Network as a "donation or a contribution," according to Van Driessche.

Prosecutors asked the agent if Rosemond engaged in money laundering with Sharpton.

"I don't know if he denied it or said that he did. He just said that he gave him $10,000," Van Driessche said.

Sharpton said he did not remember the donation. Jean's representative did not return a call for comment.

Ted Nugent is a guitar-hero whose hot-licks has been lost on chicks for decades. The guy can pull some strings - guitar and power-bow. Ted Nugent, like the great Hank Williams, Jr., is on the Fightin'Side of Rachel Maddow and the lisping lightweights on MSNBC. Ted's Ok.

He was not Hot Mic'd but spoke, maybe a bit too strongly, about his low regard for the President and opined that were the President to somehow eke out a re-turn gig as Chief Executive, Ted might be imprisoned, or even dead. Millions of Catholics also worry about going to the Joint for the Faith. Death? Quid nunc?"

I personally know a score of Secret Service agents and hold them in the highest regard, One, Tim McCarthy*, sacrficed himself in the line of duty and is one of only four agents to do so while guarding the President.

Tim McCarthy and most agents go above and beyond the call of duty. The current handful in the news are a disgrace. Going to a hooker, let alone stiffing one?

The Secret Service are now grilling Ted Nugent, but they gave Rev. Jesse Jackson a pass?

He actually threatened, then Presidential Candidate Barack Obama with castration over a hot microphone.

Here's a shocker - Rev. Al Sharpton who came to Chicago and appointed Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Baby Girl as his director the National Action Network - NAN is almost broke.

Sharpton and NAN's board of directors put up "over seven figures" to begin paying down tax arrears, she said.

"By the end of the calendar year 2010, there will be no tax liabilities as per our agreement in '08 with tax authorities," the spokeswoman added.

Meanwhile, the audit found that NAN was a defendant in five lawsuits:

* Alpha International Travel accused the group of failing to pay $50,000 in outstanding bills. NAN settled the case.

* The Peabody hotel in Memphis, where NAN held its 2008 convention, accused NAN of stiffing it out of $70,000. NAN is contesting the charges.

* NAN's Arizona chapter is accused of being a deadbeat tenant. The organization is fighting the claim.

As a nonprofit group, NAN is required to file its financial report with the state attorney general's charities bureau as well as the IRS. NAN has requested an extension to file its 2009 report.

Far from closing shop, Sharpton has opened new NAN chapters across the country the past two years.

But such an expansion is a costly mistake, said one insider familiar with the group's finances.

"Sharpton is the face of NAN," the source said. "The strength of his personality and his ability to mobilize people around issues is what makes the NAN work. Adding chapters doesn't add anything."
