Chicago Tribune Stephen Chapman - An Homage to Moloch and Planned Parenthood

Image result for stephen chapman chicago tribune

"“I remember distinctly an image of--we were sitting on his couches, and I was looking at his pant leg and his perfectly creased pant,” Brooks says, “and I’m thinking, a) he’s going to be president and b) he’ll be a very good president.”  (David Brooks)

And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, that no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to Moloch” (2 Kings 23:10).

Stephen Chapman wants to put an immediate stop to this ancient vandalism and maintain his 'moral authority' with an homage to Moloch.  He wants to shame people who hate abortion away from casting a vote for Trump and say, " I'm With HRC!"  Moloch's girl.

Stephen Chapman and David Brooks are used by oleaginous news outlets to give the dodge of " The  conservative voice in our Progressive megaphone."
Image result for david Brooks pussy
David Brooks is a national joke, with a national (government run) bullhorn on National Public Radio, Public Television in sync with his handlers at the Washington Post. You might call him Meiman Marcus brand of faux conservative.

Stephen Chapman who kind of looks like David Brooks, 'in distress,' to borrow from Joseph Heller's characterization of the cowardly and inconsequential Major Major Major in Catch 22, but there the resemblance ends.  Stephen Chapman is the Dollar $tore brand of faux conservative.

Brooks is subtle and Chapman is flatulence at a crowded Mass, on  an Easter Sunday.

Today, Stephen Chapman goes cautionary caustic.

For conservatives, abortion has become the last resort in rationalizing a vote for Trump. If Hillary Clinton makes one or more Supreme Court appointments, they believe, the chance of overturning its abortion decisions will be gone, perhaps for good. Trump, by contrast, has promised to name conservative justices, defund Planned Parenthood and ban partial-birth abortion.
But the pro-lifers' allegiance to Trump requires a huge leap of faith. In the first place, why do they trust that he'd keep his word? In the 1990s, he described himself as "very pro-choice." This year, asked about abortion, he said, "At this moment, the laws are set. And I think we have to leave it that way."
Really Stephen? Paraphrase Lord Acton's dictum concerning patriotism and scounrdels? Pro Lifers are anti-abortion, Stephen.  That is it.

Voting for the only carbon foot-print sprinting for the Oval Office to oppose abortion is not pretzel logic as Chapman oozes.  We are well aware of Donald Trump's huckstering on Life.  Life, Liberty and the Pursuit ( not the guarantee) of Happiness are what this country is all about and First Principles matter. If you are Okay with Abortion, anything else is fair game.

A vote for Trump is a betrayal of those values. He embodies every toxic force in the culture that pro-lifers hope to overcome. He is, by his very nature, not their friend.
By making excuses for him and his malignant character, they are trading their moral authority, credibility and integrity for uncertain, short-term considerations. With that, they are dooming everything they cherish.
"A vote for Trump is a betrayal of those values."  Really? Let's support red-eyed abortionists and maintain our 'moral authority?'  Jesus Christ on a crutch, Chapman, you one serious drivel merchant.

"By making excuses for him and his malignant character, they are trading their moral authority, credibility and integrity for uncertain, short-term considerations. With that, they are dooming everything they cherish."  Apples and lug nuts Stephen, old son!

Abortions is evil. Vote against abortion.

Trump might, more than might, be the biggest boor, the nastiest sexist, xenphobic blowhard between the coasts, but he is not for abortion.

If Trump tongue kissed Jake Tapper and goosed Mika Brezinski on the same green room couch with the cameras running, he is still not for abortion.  Hillary Clinton, CNN,the Chicago Tribune, the MSNBC clown car, all of the networks, and most of news outlets forget Dr. Kermit Gosnell, described in one newspaper account as "elegant,*" is Planned Parenthood in drag.  Tim Kaine is Okay with that.

Life trumps, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Hillary Clinton, like Medea, has no prblem with the slaughter of the innocent in the womb, or in Libya, Syria, the Gulf, or K Street.

Image result for moloch

The Alliance with Moloch** ( Roe v. Wade) is the breakwater event that marks this nation's decline - if we will not defend the unborn, we will not fight to preserve anything, especially our Liberty and pursuit of happiness. Abortion is all about being a woman, according to its advocates.  No Life; no liberty and no pursuit of happiness to the inconvenient innocents.

America has been an Unhappy country since 1973 and self-medicated on the drug of political policy.

Stephen Chapman's lame attempt to shame  foes of abortion away from the only vote for Life is shameful - even for a Dollar $tore Dave Brooks.

* The Associated Press 'scrubbed' all traces of Mary Claire Dale's monstrously Goebbels-like report of Gosnell's day in court.

**Moloch, also spelled Molech, a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice. The name derives from combining the consonants of the Hebrew melech (“king”) with the vowels of boshet (“shame”), the latter often being used in the Old Testament as a variant name for the popular god Baal (“Lord”).

Madman Trump Nearly, Well Almost Nearly, Doesn't Do Something!

I was shocked, outraged, incesned, vexed and very nearly driven to rile this morning when both Chicago dailys blasted these headlines:

Trump moved to fire Mueller in June, bringing White House counsel to brink of resignation!  Chicago Tribune

Trump ordered Mueller Fired, But White House Counsel Threatened to Quit!  Chicago Sun Times
Image result for robert mueller with john kerry

You see Robert Mueller is the John Kerry impersonator and Special Russian Collusion Prosecutor and who is going to give President Trump a long over due and well earned chide and come-uppance.

The smartest people like David Brooks and his minion E.J. Dionne predict a that President 45 might endure the humilitation of being taken down a peg.

Most expect a culpatory dressing down.

Trump Hits the Canvas: A Boxer in a Mixed Martial Arts Cage

The Trump is down!  He's dazed.   He's confused.  The Trump's bleeding,  bleeding like a Russian Princess!  The refs are showing the four count and he's staring, longingly, for Ann Coulter and for her to give him one shred of 'Get up, Donny and Knock 'em into the cheap seats,' but this willowy blond is one cold cucumber.  This dish is colder than a mother-in-law's kiss, colder than Samantha's knockers on a brass broomstick, Fans!  He's on his own and the refs are counting faster than a speeding ticket in Martha's Vineyard. It don't look good.

The problem is that the President has been taking shots to the noggin every waking moment since 11/09/2016 and without putting his guard up at all. In boxing one might call the President an ivory head.  Most call him a can of tomatoes.

The 45th President of the United States was elected primarily on his promise to drain the Washington D.C. swamp and swamp ain't liking it.  Swamp critters on both sides of the aisle want him gone.  Elected officials, lobbyists, journalists, academics who suckle greedily off of Lady Liberty's rack of plenty, corporatist players, Marxist oligarchs and NSA spooks with limitless loyalty to the Obama regime are Organized for Action!

The Russia Bullshit is just that.  And Americans are ravenous for bullshit - hence the powerful appeal of Barack Obama.

Donald Trump has pleased me as a voter.  He has displeased me wildly as a spectator.  He's a boxer suckered into a Tag-Team Mixed Martial Arts Caged Death Match - he's a boxer fighting a queue of MMA ninjas; as soon as he fends off one, the opposition and the allies tag off to pummel the guy.

His corner men?  Who the hell knows.  Trainer Reince Priebus was more Mitt than Romney and a doughy sap easily led into a very public pantsing on CNN, FOX, or MSNBC.  Cornerman Jared Kushner?  Who takes advice from a guy named Jared?  Christ Almighty.  Cut man, Steve Bannon is hated by all of the creeps on this planet and he seems to be getting no ear from the guy he is patching up.   Bannon seems like a guy I would want in my corner.  When all of creeps hate you, you must be doing something right.

I want to see Trump succeed, but I will be satisfied if he can go the distance and keep the DNC from political power.

Trump is no sweetheart and he is no Brian Sutherland either.

He has the skills and know-how, but he is alone in a tanked fight.  Some might call what we are witnessing a bloodless coup ( unless you count Seth Rich - I do).  As far back as February, this seemed more than evident:

I can’t believe I’m writing this after the administration has been in office for 26 days, but here goes. The idea that Donald Trump is now inexorably on a path to impeachment has taken almost gleeful hold in the wake of the Michael Flynn resignation among liberal elites and anti-Trumpers generally—and everybody better stop and take a deep breath and consider what might arise from this. This isn’t fire we’re playing with, it’s a nuclear war.
That Trump might somehow be deus-ex-machina-ed out of public life has been a consistent feature of the past 20 months. He won’t run gave way to He’s only in it for the publicity to He only wants to show Obama he’s not to be trifled with but he doesn’t want to be president so he’ll drop out to We’ll deny him a first-ballot victory at the convention and then the party pooh-bahs can take over and find a new candidate to His poll numbers are so bad he’ll quit and let Mike Pence run against Hillary to The Access Hollywood tape will finally do him in…and then he won.                                             Now that he’s president, the question I’m asked constantly is “will he serve out his first term.” The wish is father to the hope here; only the vilest and most monstrous of crimes has led to a negative answer to that question (save in the case of the first President Harrison, who caught a cold from not wearing a coat on Inauguration Day in 1841 and died a month later). No one has ever willingly or voluntarily given up the presidency. . . .
Already pro-Trump voices on the right are calling the leaks that led to Michael Flynn’s firing evidence of an attempted coup d’etat. The fevered use of such terms is part and parcel of the way in which social media amplifies the melodrama of daily news stories.
I am myself unnerved by the evidence of high-level lawlessness in the Flynn matter, but a “coup d’etat” refers specifically to a military ouster of a leader, not a leak-driven campaign using the press to nail someone. This is sure to persist, though, if the Flynn-Russia matter accelerates—and if the reluctant House and Senate do begin investigating the matter in earnest. If the language surrounding the investigation remains florid and purple, if Democrats try to please their Trump-hating constituents by screaming impeachment and liberal media tries to garner audience by jumping openly and vociferously on the bandwagon, the Trumpians will respond in kind by stirring the pot through their media and their argumentation. Commentary
Coup? Maybe.  Slaughter the bum?  To be sure.

With Clapper, Comey, Rice, Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Graham, Schummer, and Obama sub rosa and with billions of dollars hitting your kidneys, liver, heart, ears, mouth and nose every waking moment - a fight in a phone booth with Conor McGregor might be a fine and relaxing tonic.

Donny, Take a swig and spit!

Trump Wins - Sarah Palin Did It.

Donald J. Trump is President Elect - the 45th President of the United States.

I went to sleep last night convinced that Hillary R. Clinton would be so; I believed that America was about to be hammered flatter, sillier, undignified and weaker than it already happens to be.

I voted for Donald Trump only to vote against Hillary R. Clinton, a third term for President Obama and to toss the middle finger at the Illinois Democrat and Republican Parties.

I succeeded on two.

Here in Illinois, we have same-old-same-old. Illinois is still squeezed into its globalist Progressive Hillary Blue pant suits.

The Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune, WTTW and the networks succeed in maintaining Rube Goldberg Progressive Pension  Handout Machine, available only to oligarchs, cretins, feebs and dummies.

The lame continue to halt everyone in Illinois.

Not so, beyond Cook County.  Donald J. Trump hit a nerve in the decaying molars of the American Middle Class that has lost its dental insurance, along with its sense of We Are the People.

I worked very hard for John McCain in 2008 and when he picked Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, I believed that he had found the path to victory.  I was very wrong.  Barack Obama had a great machine, but he is a man of limited capacities controlled by people who do not like the United States, its history and most of its people very much.

The Obama machine turned its sights on Sarah Palin and the news media, Hollywood, Bruce Springsteen, P-Diddy, SNL and MASSCULT America went 'gangsta' on not only Governor Palin, but her family.  That woman could take it.

John McCain, a hero who withstood years of physical and psychological torture at the hands of the Communists in North Vietnam's Hanoi Hilton with the manly grace of Samson at the milling wheel, eyeless in Gaza, turned into George Stephanopoulas at the thought of ridicule in his beloved American media and Jack Griffin when the economy tanked in September, 2008.  Senator McCain was happy being Senator McCain and he allowed Barack Obama to waltz into the White House, while he retained the good will of Chris Matthews, David Brooks, Wolf Blitzer and weaker sisters of the GOP.

McCain allowed Sarah Palin and her family to be nailed to the cross, by David Letterman and every toxic ink slinger continental.

I admire Sarah Palin and consider her to be the 21st Century Mother Jones.

I also like Sarah Palin as a person - she seems like a fine mother and seems very happy. Happiness really upsets American Progressives - unless of course they happen to be burning witches at the stake or engaging in universal self-loathing.

I believe that I am the only member of my vast family who admires Sarah Palin.  In fact even among my more conservative friends this admiration of mine seems a bit daft.

The very pious, elegant and well-spoken woman, who deigns to be seen in public with me,  is put off by Gov. Palin's rhetorical choices and her God-given voice.  Coming from a blue-collar Irish Catholic family where Party loyalty equals Union (Real Labor) fidelity,  Ms. Palin's own Family Labor background gets lost in translation by my dear tribe, as well as the American Progressive Smart-Set.  The same family members, my Mom most loudly, who hold that Ms. Palin must be "nuts" are not in the least put off by Nancy Pelosi's ghost whispering. Second only to these standard issue mental health canards, comes the Celtic charge of Palin being a "total phony!"  Could be.  It's lost on me.

I like and admire Sarah Palin.  She can lead.  President Obama, in the words of Hockey Dad and Chicago's own Bobby Hull, "couldn't lead a dog out of a thunderstorm with a T-bone steak." The man can baffle with soaring bullshit, I'll give him that . . . not that he writes any of it.

I'd follow Sarah Palin into a Jenny Craig Program; I would not follow President Obama into Old Country Buffet.

Sarah Palin stayed in the fight for these last eight years of the Obama Administration and took the buffets and blows with her sinewy courage.  Palin was the voice in the Wilderness, mocked by an HBO movie, David Letterman every night, GOP thin skins universal and even people who once felt warm toward her plain spoken Populism.

Sarah Palin was the first national political figure to give street cred to Donald J. Trump and every theme that brought him to victory - listen to the whole speech.

That voice is something.  That rhetoric is something.  That endorsement lit the fire.

Sarah Palin went dark, after her endorsement and did not need to play Jesse Jackson, photo-bombing her choice at every turn, nor did Governor Palin allow herself to be a goat for Trump.  He does that on his own.

I do not know if Donald J. Trump will deliver.

I do know that he has the opportunity and he owes that opportunity to Governor Sarah Palin. Along with his daughter Ivanka, the victims of Clinton, Inc. Kathleen Wiley, Juanita Broderick and  Paula Jones, Sarah Palin's feminine heroism pushed Trump over the pundits, polls and plutocrats.

Sarah Palin has been right since 2008 - Tea Party, ISIS, Obamacare Death Panels, Occupy Anarchism, BLM and Putin's proximity to her backyard, the English Channel and Aleppo.

I pray that she will keep President Elect Donald Trump's nose on the right path.

My Interview with Donald Trump at the Old Evergreen Plaza on 95th & Western Avenue

The Donald at the PlaZoo on Western, in Evergreen Park, IL.  He said pretty much the same tripe to Chris Wallace.  Hell, why not?

PAT HICKEY: Mr. Trump, good to see you again. You took care of the dandruff problem you had when I sat behind you at the Gary, Indiana Gambling Hearings in 1994,

DONALD TRUMP (R), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Thank you.

HICKEY:  What was it Selsun Blue, a full-court press of Zinc Pyrithione, or some organic shampoo?

TRUMP: I felt it. I mean I felt it from within. We have tremendous discontent in the country. We have tremendous problems in the country. And I felt it early on or I wouldn't have done this. But I see tremendous discontent.

HICKEY: Before we dig down into some issues,  how about that flatulence problem that seemed to accompany the dandruff?  Man, it was brutal, Don.  I mean, I have a pretty robust constitution and all but I thought, back then, that you must have put away an even dozen Whitey One Bites, a handful of Slim Jims and washed them down with a warm six pack of Buckhorn.

TRUMP: OK.

HICKEY : -- quick answers. Hey, I'm just stoking ya!  Should a prospective Commander-in-Chief tear off a half-dozen odoriferous pew splitters in public, like you did in 1994, or do his level best to tough it out?

TRUMP: I would use the debt limit. I don't want to say -- I want to be unpredictable, because, you know, we need unpredictability. Everything is so predictable with our country.

But I would be very, very strong on the debt limit. And I would be asking for a very big pound of flesh if I were the Republicans. And the problem with the Republicans, they have two sides. The smaller side is very strong and the other side is always agreeing and, you know, you can't do that.

HICKEY:  You were plenty unpredictable in the Gary Conference Center that day! Now, I can't see any of the other candidates GOP, or DEM doing the same with the exception of Bernie and he subsists on Vermont Vegan Alternative Energy Sources which can be as GI toxic as a fully loaded Dago Beef Combo from Al's on Taylor Street.

TRUMP: I do not want to say that because I want to show unpredictability. You have to. You can't just go around and say that.

But Planned Parenthood should absolutely be defunded. I mean if you look at what's going on with that, it's terrible. And many other things should be defunded and many things should be cut.

HICKEY: You won't do a thing about abortion, Trumpo, no way!  Anyway. . . . How about that wedge of hair?  John Cutrone could take care of that in a nano-second.  Hey, look, this was real nice, Glad to see shoulder snow belt is cleared up and I must say you have exercised great pyloric self-control with me today - unlike that day in Gary, when you matched smelter for sphincter with Gary Works, the still operational LVT and the Dutch ovens of Inland over in East Chicago.  Have a nice campaign, I got pretty much what I wanted from you . . .Hey!  The interview is over and there's no cameras . . .Look.  Go talk to some of the Gummers getting exercise.  Nice.  Adios, Trump!  Beat it!  Go win a nomination.  Jesus, Christ, what is wrong with me?  Never make eye contact.

Both Sides Now and Always - How the Progressive Mouth Moves

Image result for Russians hacked Illinois Voters

Two Progressive Cook County Powerhouses and intellectual dim bulbs - Cook County Clerk and Rep. Mike Quigley,   have Yin and Yanged on the Trump investigation into voter fraud.

Vertically challenged Congressman Mike Quigley and former Mayor and  prognathic progressive Cook County Clerk Dave Orr are doing a classic pull-me-pull you argument that arrives with John Dewey certainty at the conclusion that Russia owns President Trump,

First, here is the diminutive Democrat's denunciation of Donald Trump:
Democratic Rep. Mike Quigleyclaims that Russia hacked into Illinois’ State Board of Elections last year to undermine voters’ faith in the electoral process.
Quigley, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, made the assertion on Monday to the Chicago Tribune after an interview with its editorial board. “I believe they’re on the doorstep to hacking into our voting systems. That is my educated guess,” Quigley said. The congressman said the committee should look at classifying election systems as a “target” and devote federal resources to protect their integrity.

The problem is that since May 11, the Trump White House established a panel to study vote fraud in the United States ( the big 50, but not D.C., Guam, and Puerto Rico).  Vote fraud -Russki, Lower Slobovian, or Mikva Challenge 5th Ward Goo-goo Go-Getters - is just wrong.
Image result for David Orr
However, Maxillary Maximus, Clerk of Cook County and Grecian Formula Guy, offered this to the Chicago and Cook County Resistance in hipper Pilsen, Lakeview, Evanston, Peoples Republic of Oak Park,  Hyde Park, the Faith Community of St. Sabina, Unitarian flocks county wide, and in my 19th Ward, Longwood Drive and its ancillary cul de sac'd street - anywhere the Voice of Resistance WBEZ and WTTW blares:
From the time he was a presidential candidate, Donald Trump has made unproven claims of widespread voter fraud happening throughout the nation. Now as president, Trump has assembled the inauthentic Presidential Advisory Commission on Voter Integrity to investigate voter registration and voter fraud.
This partisan Commission has been formed on false pretenses: 3 to 5 million people did not vote illegally in the last presidential election, as the president believes, and a true bi-partisan Commission requires careful analysis and expertise.
Were this Commission truly working in the interest of making our elections as error-free and our voter rolls as clean as possible, the focus would be on the following:
Bringing every state on-board with the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) — a nationwide network of states, which includes Illinois, that securely shares voter registration data – so that voter information nationwide would be accurate and up-to-date.
Updating our nation’s election infrastructure — the machines voters use to cast their ballots — which in many election jurisdictions are a decade or more old and are being held together with replacement parts often purchased on eBay.
Pushing all states toward Automatic Voter Registration – a good government tool to help clean voter rolls across the nation.
Instead, the President’s Commission has told state election authorities to hand over information including the names, addresses, birth dates and party affiliations of registered voters in each state. The Commission also wants a record of felony convictions, military statuses, the last four digits of Social Security numbers and voting records dating back to 2006.
I’m happy to see that so far, election authorities in more than 40 states – including Kris Kobach’s own Kansas Secretary of State office – have rejected the Commission’s request for this information, and I urge the Illinois Board of Elections to stand up against this unnecessary overreach.
Voting is a fundamental right. Unfortunately, instead of a genuinely bipartisan group dedicated to protecting the vote, President Trump has stacked the deck of his Commission with a number of lawmakers who have shown an inclination towards voter suppression.
Furthermore, this comes at a time when Republicans have sought to defund the Election Assistance Commission, a truly bi-partisan Commission.
I strongly encourage the Illinois Board of Elections, as well as my fellow elections administrators, to be cautious of the motives of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Voter Integrity and not comply with this dangerous request.

David Orr Cook County Clerk (Emphases my own)
You see, 20 States have already adopted ERIC and Illinois is one of them.  It was David  Orr and Mike Quigley who bulldozed electronic voting here in Cook County back in 2006.  I wrote about this only a few weeks ago -

Donald Trump did not force the use of computer-voting on the voters of Cook County. You did, Mike Quigley. And this twerp is on the House Intelligence Committee? Vlad Putin could not have gotten into our election machines without buck-toothed Dave Orr, Forrest Claypool, Larry Sufredin and the good folks at Sequoia Voting Systems.
In 2006, Mike Quigley was one of the Progressive grifters. . .I mean Commissioners,  who worked with Cook County Clerk David Orr, at the behest of Help America Vote, Abner Mikva and friends, to weld suburban Cook County and Chicago voters together with Venezuelan voting machines.
The Sequoia Voting Machines, Help America Vote, Forrest Claypool, Venezuela and those rascally Russians are all part of our Progressive History.  Prior to the 2008 Election of the transformative Barack H. Obama, a huge fan of Venezuelan Tin-pot Dictator the late Hugo Chavez and voting began getting hacked without hanging chads, on-line and vulnerable.
That was 2006, when former Mayor and Cook County Clerk David Orr insisted that Cook County and City Elections operate the identical voting systems.
These swell voting gizmos are a product of Venezuela - that paragon of Progressive Democracy.

Well, boys and girls Quigley notes that the Kremlin hacked the Illinois Vote and wants the Federal government to get on that stick!

Dave Orr, who could bite a pig's ass through a picket fences, chews this cabbage twice and wants no scrutiny.

Straight talking Progressives - the gang that made Illinois a laughing stock, Obama President and voter fraud more accessible to computer hacking - always give their truth - out of both sides of their mouth.  One message and many directions. Image result for David Orr and Mike Quigley

The Illinois Elector Commission had better open the books to Mike Pence and  Presidential Advisory Commission on Voter Integrity,

Progressives lack that last noun.

Chicago Tribune Does Rahm Recovery and Dan Mihalopoulos Tosses Red Meat to Real Readers

It does not take a Jeremiah, a Daniel, or an Ezra to read Chicago Tea-leaves and know with 100% certainty that Chicago's Media will apply rouge, mascara and pancake to the potholes on Rahm Emanuel's mug only seconds after every disaster.

Immediately after the weekend's whirlwind "Forget about it!  Good Men Make Mistakes"  from Bruce Dold's Chicago Tribune, the greasepaint got slapped on with hefty trowel:

Top news
CLOUT STREET
Trying to dig out of turmoil of second term, Emanuel looks ahead to re-election bid:
Bill Ruthhart
Mayor Rahm Emanuel is in the back half of a second term filled with controversies and challenges that would have left many politically weakened if not finished for good, but he’s as cocksure as ever about his future.
Gee, what a scrappy kid!  What a with it guy!  Them controversies???  Go on; pick one!

Whoever runs against Emanuel, the Tribune will morph him/her into 'The Trump Candidate.'

Already Dold's hacks, Steve Chapman, Rex Hupke, as well as imported features are dominating the most read section with Trump Thumping tub-thumpers.

  • I Study Liars fro  Living. I've Never Seen One Like President Trump
  • A lesson in history: Why the furor behind declaring Jerusalem Israel's capital?
  • Donald Trump's biggest flaw: He's not that bright
  • Don't underestimate how low Trump can go
  • Trump endorses Moore — something for Gross America to ...
We get it Bruce, Trump is bad, very, very, very very bad.   So is the Tribune.

Rahm Emanuel is Cocksure that he can depend upon the purse-puppies in the Tribune Tower to lick-spittle up a storm for him! Membership in the Progressive Democratic Oligarchy requires lock-step from stooges.

However, West of the tower along the river, the Sun Times' Dan Mihalopoulos  has tossed raw meat to real readers

Mayor Rahm Emanuel will get a brief break from his troubles here next week — thanks to a star in the vast constellation of brother Ari.
When news broke that Emanuel will go to New York to be a guest on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday, I couldn’t help but immediately suspect Colbert is one of the many entertainers who make gobs of money for uber-agent (and Uber investor) Ari Emanuel.Well, sure enough, what could seem like a cynical question yielded just the answer I suspected: Ari Emanuel’s massive Endeavor talent agency owns the company that manages Colbert’s career.
Ari Emanuel is the chief executive of Beverly Hills-based Endeavor (which recently changed its name from WME-IMG). A couple years ago, Endeavor acquired New York-based Dixon Talent, which represents Colbert.
Think Colbert will ask about the Feds circling around Forrest Claypool and not Cook County Forest Preserve workers? Not a chance!

Well, sure enough, what could seem like a cynical question yielded just the answer I suspected: Ari Emanuel’s massive Endeavor talent agency owns the company that manages Colbert’s career.

Mihalopoulos goes for the jugular . . .and all south side Irish . . .by forcing readers to remember Robert Redford's lousy docu-drama that attempted to present Rahm as a human being

As with CNN’s fawning “Chicagoland” series — which starred Rahm Emanuel and his then-loyal top cop Garry McCarthy during Emanuel’s first term — the mayor is again benefitting from people who are financially connected to his little brother.
Clients of Ari Emanuel directed CNN’s 2014 homage to Rahm and Garry. Before that show aired, the directors promised to be so fair and balanced that Mayor Emanuel would be irked.  The final result was virtually a propaganda film, with Emanuel and McCarthy portrayed like urban superheroes. Emails later revealed the show’s producers privately coordinated scenes with mayoral aides and even promised to present Emanuel as “the star that he really is.”

You Steven Colbert works for Ari Emanuel's talent rodeo.  He is in with the Chicago Progressive Democratic Oligarchs and a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Trump Thumper.

Dan Mihalopoulos cuts through the PR stooging from Rahm's office person and gets to meat of the matter:

An Endeavor spokesman on Friday confirmed Colbert is a client of Dixon Talent, but Dixon Talent did not return messages seeking comment on Rahm Emanuel’s appearance with Colbert.
A spokeswoman for CBS, the network that airs Colbert’s show, had no interest in elaborating on why they would want the mayor of Chicago on their show.
“So you’re aware, we don’t comment on our booking process,” said the spokeswoman, Lauren Kamm. “Photos of the mayor’s appearance will be available on Monday evening and the full clip of the interview will post on The Late Show’s YouTube page on Tuesday morning.”
We local yokels also can tune in to CBS-Channel 2 at 10:35 p.m. Monday. The mayor is scheduled to appear between Oscar winner Matt Damon and Colombian musician Juanes.
Emanuel should hope he gets glowing reviews in Beverly and other neighborhoods of his city — and not just in Beverly Hills. (emphasis my own)
Rahm plays Ok in Beverly, but west of Western and East of Longwood Drive ? Morgan Park?  Roseland?  Auburn-Gresham? Mount Greenwood?  West Beverly?   Garfield Ridge?  West Lawn?  Noyt so much.

Dan Mihiapolous shows real fangs and claws, unlike his editorial board.

Sun Times will back the SEIU/AFSCME approved candidate and then curry favor with the Third Term Rahm Administration, once the stalking horses white, black and Latino divide the votes again.

Here's hoping the Feds still have a RICO bullet in the chamber for Forrest Claypool and the will to let fly.

If not Rahm will face Trump and win again.

Colbert ought to be ashamed, but he is not. He is Hollywood.

Until then, Nothing is on Square and the Nine Digit Midget remains on Five.

Only the "Uneducated" Voted for Trump? The Plagiarist Says So - Fareed " Od Dead-eyes' Zakaria and Obama Jonesing

"In order to understand, it is immensely important for the person who understands to be located outside the object of his or her creative understanding—in time, in space, in culture. For one cannot even really see one's own exterior and comprehend it as a whole, and no mirrors or photographs can help; our real exterior can be seen and understood only by other people, because they are located outside us in space, and because they are others." Mikhail Bakhtin

It is hard to believe, I know, but I met Barack Obama on more than few occasions before he received the Nobel Prize and found him to be kind of a dope.  A real dope, a pissy, snotty and insecure  Ivy League educated dope.  I don't think that all that Hope and Change wised him up, but I wish him God Speed!

I judge people by the way they treat other people and me as well.  I have met many  well educated people ( they went to college) who could not and can not make change, book a hotel reservation, or remember to leave a tip after a huge feed.   I know pipe-fitters who are jazz scholars, readers of Foucualt, Derrida and Bakhtin - very dismissive of the two former and firmly in the camp of the later.

Bakhtin was a Russian literary and language theorist who studied the 'carnivalesque' nature of rebellion, non-conformity and resistance to artificial constraints upon the individual - think of a  Retirement Roast as an example.  The 'honoree' sits and takes verbal abuse in 'tribute' to his/her life.  The Comedy Central Roasting of Ann Coulter comes to mind,, where everything about that persons gender, race, religion, education, career choices and personal relationships was reduced to the gimlet eye of left-wing politics.  Another example might be a a faculty meeting in a Catholic high school to kick off the school, where the educated persons of the same faith are required to read a meaningful group prayer from a Xerox'ed copy.  No wonder most teachers squirm and act out.

Today, once again, a person with the personality of a dial tone and humanity of a Grand Vizier, explains that huge percentage of American voters are uneducated.
CNN's Fareed Zakaria previewed his documentary Why Trump Won Monday on Wolf Blitzer's afternoon TV program. Zakaria said Trump supporters are "tribal" and saw the 2016 presidential election as an act of cultural and class rebellion against the "educated" urban professionals.
"We tried to get at that deeper issue, which is really a portrait of America," Zakaria said of his investigation into Trump supporters. "A kind of cultural and class portrait of an America that feels deeply resentful about the direction the country is going in and the people who run the country. People, you know, who are professionals, urban, educated. This is, in a sense, an act of class rebellion. It is an act of cultural rebellion. And Donald Trump is their guy."

People who run the country are "  People, you know, who are professionals, urban, educated."  Yet, Donald Trump and Mike Pence and Steve Bannon and Kelly Anne Conway and Jeff Session and Gen. Kelly are 'running the country.'  Fareed?  What's the deal?

Why would the uneducated massed vote for educated ( Trump, Pence, Bannon, Conway, Sessions, Kelly et al), urban professionals to be our guys?

This is what my pipe-fitter pal and Mikhail Bakhtin would call a 'carnivalesque' moment.  You see, locked-up mumpish misanthropes with puckered sphincters, like Fareed Zakaria, Bruce Wolf and retired Vice Admiral John Kirby object to pipe-fitters, cops, firemen, school teachers, cab and Uber drivers, especially when they ain't buying what Fareed is selling.  They squirm away from faked good-humor, prayer that requires prayer sheets and snobbery.

The Carnival is a Catholic concept - the Feast of All Fools,  It was the one day where the poor, the eccentric, the naked, the loutish, the buffoonish and the heckling classes were free to scorn the prelates, the viziers, the scribes and the pharisees.

Our scribes and  pharisees, academics and the media,  created Obama and they are really missing his empty rhetorical smirking self-satisfaction.  They are jones-ing bad.

Educated Americans voted for Donald Trump and against Obama and Hillary.   Many educated Americans and many more very wise Americans.

Old Dead Eyes is one of the reason why the Church created carnivals.

Pipefitters know that.

Woke White Folks? Woke? Really, Jonathan. Take a Walk Up Maplewood Avenue.

The Chicago Tribune picks up the bulk of its coverage from the Washington Post, other papers, the Associated Press and approved lick-spittles.

Today Jonathan Capehart, a real beauty and a signal dandy of reason that the American people detest the mainstream media, offers an insultingly inaccurate hate-piece on white working class Americans: All working people, to be accurate.

The guys who fix the Peoples Gas lines all over Morgan Park, Mount Greenwood, Archer Heights and Ashburn these days are for the most part working class white guys.  I walked up Maplewood Avenue to St. John Fisher for services at 6:12 A.M. yesterday.  I usually take Talman, but changed my route, just for giggles.

At that time half a score of People Gas utility vehicles, accompanied by allied contractors vehicles: back-hoes, bobcats and cement finisher rigs with lumber and tools were lining the both sides of Maplewood Avenue.  By the way,  white working class kids learn the difference between a street and an avenue in pre-school.  A street has houses on both sides and and avenue runs perpendicular (right next to) a street and has trees on both sides.  Well, the vehicles mentioned were populated with working men - black, Latino and mostly white guys.  They were in the majority, numerically speaking.

However, according to Jonathan Capehart, a poster child for W.E.B. DuBois's 'Talented Ten Per Cent, who was immediately made an editorial board member when he began work at the New York Daily News and was married to his boyfriend by the Attorney General of United States, Eric 'Nation of Cowards' Holder and covered for another Attorney General after she met with Bill Clinton just prior to James Comey's absolution of Candidate Hilary Clinton.  Jonathan Capehart is on every cable news show and is a major player, Mosel Tov.

Jonathan Capehart did the black bag work on Bernie Sanders.  You could say, that Jonathan Capehart launched the Trump White House. Oh, I will.  Jonathan Capehart gelded Bernie Sanders and propelled Donald J. Trump into the White House.

Now, Capehart is free to blame anyone for the Trump Presidency, but as a gold-plated black man and as an LGBTQ 4th Estate bullet proof voice, blame white working class people and their supposed fear of blacks, gays, Muslims, Caitlyn Jenner, Elizabeth Warren, BitCoins, science and rainbows for the current rise in global respect, calmer waters in the South China Sea, a sky-high Dow Jones and the Resistance.

Racism motivated Trump voters more than authoritarianism." That was the you-don't-say headline on an April 17 Monkey Cage analysis by Thomas Wood of the 2016 American National Election Study. It was just more statistical confirmation of what we already know. You may recall a column last September about other studies of the electorate by The Washington Post's Dana Milbank with the headline "Yes, half of Trump supporters are racist."
We all kinda know what's going on here. (And by "we all," I'm speaking generally about people of color, African Americans in particular, and woke whites — "the new American majority," . . .
WOKE White Folks*?  Is that not from the coinage of Maxine Waters? Guess not.  We all?

. . .as author Steve Phillips puts it.) It's fear, anger and economic insecurity mixed with anxiety over the browning of America and the subsequent loss of preferred status that this will naturally entail. A new book by Justin Gest, assistant professor of public policy at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government, takes that gut feeling reinforced by an overflow of anecdotal evidence and grounds it in research.

Really?  Like that scientific fact that gays comprise astronomically significant random samplings of the American populace?

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The American public estimates on average that 23% of Americans are gay or lesbian, little changed from Americans' 25% estimate in 2011, and only slightly higher than separate 2002 estimates of the gay and lesbian population. These estimates are many times higher than the 3.8% of the adult population who identified themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender in Gallup Daily tracking in the first four months of this year.  Gallup

and that Brown is the new White?  Image result for brown is the new white review

Trump won the white working class vote, because guys like Jonathan Capehart undid the Progressive base by going all Maxine Waters on Bernie Sanders.  That and white working class people, as well as black working class people, and brown working class people like to have their bank accounts reflect their efforts.

But, Steve Phillips, one of the archtects of the 2016 strategy argues:
The first step the next chair (DNC) should take to fix this problem is to conduct a transparent and brutally honest assessment of exactly what happened in 2016. There are a lot of misunderstandings, incorrect conclusions, and false and facile assumptions floating around and influencing preliminary plans for progressives in the future. One such myth, for example, is that millions of voters abandoned Democrats and flocked to the Trump campaign, when in fact Clinton got just about the same number of votes that Obama did in 2012 (Trump exceeded Romney’s 2012 numbers by 2 million votes, and third-party candidates received 5 million more votes than they did in 2016). Understanding exactly what happened and why is an essential first step to winning back the White House.
Brown might be the dominant demographic in the coming years, but stupid is color blind.

The progressive message stinks, Steve. It stinks in technicolor!  The WOKE whites at the Nation, Salon, The New Republic, the NYT, WaPo, MSNBC, NBC, CNN and Al Jazera  continue with same idiotic, diffisive and race baiting messages spouted by WOKE whites like Elizabeth Warren, Dick Durbin, Chuck Schumer, Michigan Fats Moore and Chris Matthews.

Working people fear nothing, Jonathan.  They go to work, go to war, go to the polls, go to church, go to their children's events and go to the aid of their neighbors.

The guys fixing the gas lines under the sidwalks all long Maplewood Avenue were all laughing with one another, running for coffee at Dunkin Donuts over on Western Ave. for their crews and showing absolutely no signs of Trump terror and nor did they make nosie as their neighbors slept, before they too went to work.

* WOKE Whites  do not work back-hoes, Bobcats, nor do they labor with working men and women of color:
The latest revolution of “woke” doesn’t roll its eyes at white people who care about racial injustice, but it does narrow them at those who seem overeager to identify with the emblems and vernacular of the struggle. For black activists, there is a certain practicality in publicly naming white allies. Being woke, Stovall says, means being “aware of the real issues” and willing to speak of them “in ways that are uncomfortable for other white folks.” But identifying allies poses risks, too. “There are times when people have been given the ‘black pass,’ and it hasn’t worked out so well,” Stovall says. “Like Clinton in the ’90s.” A white person who gains a kind of license to use power on behalf of black people can easily wield that power on behalf of themselves.

Uh,huh.
