Sympathy for the Devil - G. Flint Taylor

Just as every cop is a criminalAnd all the sinners saintsAs heads is tailsJust call me Lucifer'Cause I'm in need of some restraint - Sympathy for the Devil 1968

1968 - Jon Burge was an MP in Vitenam and G. Flint Taylor was the mouth-piece for the Black Panthers.  I was a junior at Little Flower High School.

2018 - Jon Burge is out of jail for perjury, but has never been chraged or convicted of torture.  G. Flint Taylor is a millionaire.  I teach high school social justice.

Last week, G. Flint Taylor made another run at getting cop-killer Jackie Wilson out of prison - Taylor wants Wilson re-tried in the comfortable atmosphere created by Taylor and other lawyers getting rich in the Wrongful Everything to Do With Justice Industry, as well as the generations of lazy, or agenda addicted members of the Chicago Media.

This atmosphere is a Gordian-knot compostiion of doctrines ( all police departmenst are fundmentally racist; police use torture gratuitously; Jon Burge used Vietnam era torture devices, as well as garden variety brutality to harm only African Americans in Chicago; Ellected officials care only about elections and will go along with anything; Justice must be tried in the court of public opinion; train journalism students to become active agents in the Wrongful Induistry; accept no inquiry; be patient) that over the last forty years has made Chicago a Thug Comfort Zone.

Thanks to G. Flint Taylor's mythopoeic mastery of the media in Chicago, the leftist philanthropic culture, the cowardly mayors and aldermen, and the elimination of historical truths in public education police officers wear body cameras, unless detailed to Rahm Emanuel's home, get charged with anything that might make a mistake look like racism, second guess any and all use of force tactics, while career criminals and savage thugs know that the race card is a get-out-of-jail free card acceptable at The Peoples Law Office, City Hall, Medill Law and Journalism, The Bluhm Centers, Cook County Building, WTTW, The Tribune, The Sun Times and lovingly, The Chicago Reader.

G. Flint Taylor has influenced more generations to go along with his myths and pleadings and longer than Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Uncle Ho could ever dreamt  and all through the media. He was the mouth-piece for the Black Panthers, tried to Free Mumia, helped sanitize Bernardine Dorhn and her cartoonish old man, Bill Ayers, and dangled 501(c) 3 millions from the Ivory Towers of University of Chicago and Northwestern University before the grasping hands of lawyers and felons as well as millions of tax-payer dollars as well.

G. Flint Taylor needed no beer hall putsch, or Little Red Book; rather, selective memory, intellectual weakness, judge shopping and time itself, has poured the blood into Taylor's cement mix.

Since 1968, the year His Satanic Majesty provided us with some sympathy and taste, G. Flint Taylor's rock-samba of American imperialism brutality has played at ear shattering levels in print and in the Dirksen Federal Center.

Taylor and Jeffery Haas, co-founder of Peoples Law Office, formed their Marxist band of legal goblins on south Dearborn ( later on Milwaukee Avenue) with money from the World Council of Churches' American branch The National Council of Churches. This is from the dubious pen of the late Robert McClory:

The logical question, of course, is how and why Haas and Taylor keep fighting. It is understandable that the survivors of the Panther affair and the relatives of Hampton and Clark would like a measure of vengeance (and some cash) for what they have always perceived as a cold-blooded execution. But those friends and relatives are not independently wealthy, and they have contributed virtually nothing of their personal assets to the cost of prosecution, raised small amounts through benefits and fun raisers. The National Council of Churches made a donation.
Personal sacrifices to the greater good?  Rent in Lakeview, where both lived according to McClory, whose sole purpose in life was create urban legends out of leftists, was always high, even in the 1970's.  The Burge Mythology is now taught as a scoial science in Chicago Public Schools.

Jon Burge was convicted of perjury after years of media bear-baiting and legal legerdemain.

G. Flint Taylor and legions of other fatuous opportunists have made fortunes by playing media, do-gooders and generations of young people completely unaquainted with the facts of the murders, arrests, convictions and subsequent judge shopping by Peoples Law Office, MacArthur Center for Justice, Loevy & Loevy.

There has been absolutely no proof of torture – hundreds of allegations and millions of dollars in payouts -but not one win in G.Flint Taylor’s column.

Jon Burge was trapped in a legal maze created by time, judge shopping, media complicity and collective memory loss.

When torture appears, deal with it. That has yet to be proven. Truth is not something “We Can All Agree Upon.” That is John Dewey.

What strikes me is the money trail of WCC and the NCC that leads directly to the KGB - the former Soviet secret police.  No journalist in Chicago wants a Pulitzer denied due such an inquiry.

Instead, Taylor poisons the landscape with pieces like his recent In These Times article:

In Chicago, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), a longtime supporter of racist police torturer Jon Burge, is now seeking to circumvent court orders that preserve and make public the police misconduct files of repeater cops such as Burge, by seeking to enforce a police contract provision that calls for the destruction of the files after seven years.  And in a show of solidarity with the killer of Michael Brown, Chicago’s FOP is soliciting contributions to the Darren Wilson defense fund on its website.
Such reactionary actions by police unions are not new, but are a fundamental component of their history, particularly since they came to prominence in the wake of the civil rights movement. These organizations have played a powerful role in defending the police, no matter how outrageous and racist their actions, and in resisting all manner of police reforms.
As a high school teacher and citizen of Chicago, I demand that the so-called watch-dogs ask G. Flint Taylor some thoughtful, tough and compelling questions. Until something like that happens, G. Flint Taylor  will bully judges like Hooks into releasing murdering thugs like Jackie Wilson.

  • What is your connection to the bombings in Oakland committed by Dohrn and the Weather Underground?
  • Who ordred the murder of CPD officers Gilhooley and Rappaport* in November 1969?
  • Why is Judge Gettleson always your go-to-guy?
  • Where is Frank Sirtoff?  Tell us all about him?
  • Who paid John Conroy?
  • Have you ever been to Russia?
  • How did you land Judge Hooks for your Jackie Wilson gambit?
  • Why do you hate black people who are not felons?
  • Why do you owe Gator Bradley money?
These might be a simple begining of the media having much less sympathy for Chicago's devil.

Who,who, who, whoooo!

Officer John J. Gilhooly and Officer Frank G. Rappaport were ambushed by a member of the radical group Black Panthers on a false call of a “man with a gun”.
As the officers entered a gangway between two buildings the man opened fire with a shotgun from a porch below, striking Officer Rappaport in the chest and Officer Gilhooly in the face and neck. The suspect then shot Officer Rappaport again as he lay on the ground, killing him.
Gilhooly was survived by his father, brother and sister.

Sun Times: Man Stabbed in Kennedy Park - Stop Gun Violence!

Image result for man stabbed in kennedy parkImage result for Kennedy Park chicago

A 41-year-old man was stabbed Monday evening in the Kennedy Park neighborhood on the Far Southwest Side.
He was walking down the street about 5:50 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Washtenaw when an unknown person stabbed him, according to Chicago Police.  The man suffered a puncture wound to the abdomen and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.Stop Gun Violence
Was the man Stabbed with a Gun?

The Sun Times casts great light on gun violence, but keeps the savagery of the individuals perpetrating the perpetual attacks on innocent people like toddlers, children, tourists and people walking near a Chicago park at 5:30 P.M. in any neighborhood.

This is because the Sun Times is all about making it possible for individuals to bring lawsuit against the society that protects their actions and give the lie to the pre-caste political narratives of the Chicago oligarchs. The Chicago Reader, owned by the Sun Times, calls the 19th Ward( especially Mount Greenwood)  the Upside Down.

In short, dead fish would jump from the pages of the Sun Times, rather than be shrouded in lies.

Kennedy Park is in the Morgan Park neighborhood.  I live here.  The news media goes to great pains to portray this neighborhood as some kind of Celtic Copland-  Leave it To Beaver Oasis for White Flight Racists, where Rahm Emanuel counts upon and gets high voter turn-outs and matching Rahm Votes each election cycle.  In return, Rahm flips pancakes at Original House of Pancakes on Western, blesses a Blackhawks endowed Hockey Rink at Kennedy Park.  Rahm also solemnly nods with the news media about the people who live here, pay taxes, obey the law and call 911  more than they should.

People, white black, brown and yellow in this neighborhood as well as  Beverly and Mount Greenwood are robbed, burglarized, threatened, assaulted and mugged by thugs - frequently. With the great number of CPD, County, State and Federal law enforcement professionals residing here, one might think - The Bad Guys Know Us, But They Leave Us Alone.  No.  They get around.

Last week,  and off-duty cop was attacked by young thugs with pistols, a number of thugs came into The Upside Down to rob UPS, FEDEX and USPS deliveries.

Chicago is a Thug Comfort Zone.

A comfort zone denotes that limited set of behaviors that a person will engage without becoming anxious. Alternatively denoted as a "plateau" it describes that set of behaviors that have become comfortable, without creating a sense of risk. A person's personality can be described by his or her comfort zones. Highly successful persons may routinely step outside their comfort zones, to accomplish what they wish. A comfort zone is a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries that are not real. Such boundaries create an unfounded sense of security. Like inertia, a person who has established a comfort zone in a particular axis of his or her life, will tend to stay within that zone without stepping outside of it. To step outside a person's comfort zone, he must experiment with new and different behaviors, and then experience the new and different responses that then occur within his environment.

Following the thug murder of Leo High School Valedictorian, Golden Gloves Champion and college student Jason Riley in 2007, I wrote the following:

I accuse the news media of creating a Thug Comfort Zone here in Chicago. Only cases where Police can and will be accused of abuse based upon race receive any attention - the more ludicrous and outrageous accusations get tried in the public glare with the full support of cynical creeps who sit their milky fat asses on Editorial Boards.
I use cynical creeps because 1. - they are cynical - 'Let's get into it!' and sell some papers - easier than being good at your work and 2. creeps because only a creep would actively engage in 'criminal' enterprise to enrich lawyers and thugs, while bankrupting public monies and public confidence.
It is now 2017 and milky rumps remain on editorial boards and chirp about - gun violence.

Thugs feel very free to rob, steal, assault and use guns to kill people, because There's a 73% chance that Foxxx (Cook County States Attorney)won't charge you

  • and another 78% chance you'll make bail, even on murder and hate crime charges
  • and another 82% chance you beat the charge at court.  ( emphases and parenthetical my own)
Thugs Kill People
Thugs Rob People
Thugs Terrorize People, because they can.

Guns kill people, like pencils flunk tests.

Sun Times Editorial Board Tries to Influence Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Run-Off Election

Image result for Sun Times 2008 front page west side riot photo of chicago cop bring it on

Mayor Rahm Emanuel has referred to city workers as neighborhood “anchors,” saying they are critical to the vibrancy of the city. Former Mayor Richard M. Daley, speaking more practically, used to warn the city could lose a large share of its middle class if the residency requirement were lifted. . . . For everybody else, as cops like to say, rules are rules. Sun Times

The only proper reply to such smarmy hypocrisy is " bite me."  Usually I am much more verbally adept, glib, and such but Sun Times has wowed me with this one.  Quoting from our Globalist Red China and Russian trade partner and University of Chicago don, Mayor Mumbles, takes the brie.

Today's screed is less about fairness than usual; it is about influencing the Fraternal Order of Police election run-off.

No paper has done more to drive a wedge between Chicago citizens and the Chicago Police officers who risk life, limb and personal reputation every time they answer roll call than the Chicago Sun Times.

From Mark Brown's "bring it on" editorializing a front page photo implying that a police officer was egging on already active West Side  rioters in 2008, to the Watchdogs' media lynching of a cop for the past month, to Andy Grimm's 'investigation' of a property owner who wears a badge, to this morning's Editorial Board's Harrumph of their 'phony baloney jobs,'  the Sun Times is the defender of the Chicago oligarchy.

Forrest Claypool could roll a crippled blind girl selling Girl Scout cookies at State and Madison and Tom Frisbie would mew, "Ever the Reformist, Claypool put an end to this Thin Mint hustler's hawking."  If a cop helped three little girls in Englewood, he would be violating their right to privacy.

The FOP is at a cross-roads.  The current leadership seems to do more to aid the comfortable and afflict the general membership, than it does to call out the hypocrisies and blatant corruption of City and County leadership.

The Sun Times has always nuzzled the rumps at City Hall more than it has sunk the fangs of a Tim Novak into the keisters of Rahm or Dame Preckwinkle.

I don't have a vote. I am not a cop.  I honor their work and am appalled by their treatment in the Chicago Media, so wrapped up with the people who created Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone ( Marxist lawyers, race baiting pastors and the University centered and funded Wrongful America Industry.

A vitalized FOP would be burr under the saddle of the comfortable oligarchs making millions off of the shrinking Chicago middle class and that could mean tougher access to weasels for Fran Spielman and Michael Sneed, doncha know?

This must stop.  Stop buying these rags.  Read The Second City Cop

"Hamilton" Digs Terrorists and Media Swoons. FALN Bomber of the Schubert Gets a Front Row Seat There!

Image result for lin manuel miranda

Chicago-bred Rivera, leader of the FALN (Armed Forces of National Liberation), was among the 200 people granted a pardon by President Barack Obama on Tuesday. A paramilitary organization that advocated complete independence for Puerto Rico, the FALN is said to have been responsible for more than 70 bomb attacks on U.S. targets between 1974 and 1983. Heidi Wesss Chicago Sun Times
Today, lawyers at People’s Law Office serve as legal counsel in the international campaign to free Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera, one the longest held political prisoners in the U.S. These same attorneys have worked for decades with international movements struggling for the release of Puerto Rican independentistas, successfully achieving Presidential pardons in 1979 and 1999. More recently, People’s Law Office represented independentista Carlos Alberto Torres, achieving his release on parole in 2010, after spending thirty years in prison. Peoples Law Office
“I’ve got a show for him in Chicago. It’ll be my honor to play Hamilton the night he goes.”   Hamilton Star and FALN Progagandist Lin-Manuel Miranda Sun Times

Any further evidence that the American News Media needs a trip to the proctologist for a serious cranial removal is completely unnecessary.

Weidy Weiss gushes over Lame Malard Barack Obama's debt to the Peoples Law Office duly paid: the commutation of an FALN Chicago homie with more than 70 bombings under his grandfatherly belt.

The FALN were G. Flint Taylor's salad days, following the Black Panther Shooting.  Not only that G. Flint Taylor the man most responsible for Chicago's Ferguson Effect and Thug Comfort Zone also was treated to the release of a GD warlord*in Obama's farewell goody-bag. However, it is Hamilton's Huzzah and the media's idiotic delight that really hits home,

"As soon as the news that Puerto Rican nationalist Oscar Lopez Rivera’s sentence was commuted reached Lin-Manuel Miranda, the “Hamilton” creator tweeted that he was “sobbing with gratitude.” And he added that, as a result, he plans to play Alexander Hamilton at a Chicago performance for Lopez Rivera.
“I wish I was with everyone in Chicago right now,” tweeted Miranda, who, as a child, spent many summers with his grandparents on Puerto Rico."
Gee, Imagine the sheer delight of Ethyl Merman when President Harry S Truman commuted the death sentences of the two Puerto Rican gunmen who attempted to kill him on November 1, 1950?

'Give'em Hell' Harry allowed these two freedom fighters to dangle for life, rather than meet Mr. Sparky.

Short memories, thin frames of reference and a daily gorging of bullshit from our American news media explain plenty.  No wonder hip-hop Hamilton is a hit.   It's the bomb!

By the way, Oscar Lopez Rivera bombed the Schubert Theatre here in Chicago, Lin.

*In other action by the president, Eric “Fat Eric” Wilson, a former “governor” in Gangster Disciples kingpin Larry Hoover’s drug empire, won a commutation. Obama reduced Wilson’s life sentence to 35 years in prison. Wilson, 47, is being held in the federal prison in downstate Pekin and is expected to get out in about 7 years.
After a high-profile federal trial in Chicago, Wilson and six other ranking members of the Gangster Disciples — and a former female Chicago Police gang-crimes officer — were convicted of engaging in a drug conspiracy. Wilson was sentenced on March 10, 1998, records show.
Hoover is currently serving a life sentence in federal prison in Colorado. But he was allegedly running a drug empire from state prison in Illinois in the early 1990s, giving Wilson and his top gang associates orders from behind bars. The key evidence at Wilson’s trial was Hoover’s own secretly recorded words from private meetings in state prison with his trusted lieutenants.
So-called governors like Wilson were responsible for large areas of Gangster Disciples territory, with hundreds of gang members reporting to them, prosecutors said. At the time, then-Cook County State’s Attorney Jack O’Malley called the group an “evil menace to our society.”

Second City Cop Provides " The DOJ Report on Policing; by Dummies and for Dummies"

Image result for end of watch cpd

I have always said that the some of smartest people on earth are ER nurses, fire fighters and cops.  I am a high school teacher.

ER. nurses, fire fighters and police officers witness man and his works at the most crucial and actually do something about it with hearts, heads and hands.

Most other vocations play it.

The Department of Justice issued a rushed, pre-fabricated and hateful tome condemning police officers, not the oily and cowardly politicians and grifters who make police policy, as racist, trigger happy brutes.

A cop, The Second City Cop, who works as a cop and citizen journalist has studied 2/3rds of this weighty smear and provides some insight to the arch-manipulators who have created Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone.

This is a DOJ Report for us Dummies ( civilians):

DOJ Report
So we're about two-thirds of the way through, but far enough along to have drawn certain conclusions and formed opinions. This was put together by a politicized Department and an obviously partisan Administration for the sole purpose of advancing an agenda. That Hillary lost lent an unseemly speed to the conclusion and de-legitimizes many of the supposed "findings."
Evidence of haste can be found almost immediately:
Page 2, paragraph 3: 60 ride-alongs
Given that there are 279 police beats, three watches, that's 837 potential ride-alongs. Not to mention rapid response, traffic, 06, tact, saturation, gang enforcement, boats, horses, god knows how many administrative and undercover beats, there's probably nearly 1,200 potential ride-alongs in a 24 hour period. The DOJ claims they spent "300 person-days" here, that's 360,000 opportunities to ride-along.
.016% - sixteen thousandths of one percent
We've taken a few math courses in our time and this isn't even close to what would be considered a valid statistical representation. There's more:
340 individual CPD members (out of a supposed 12,000 - 2.8%)
1,000 community members (.037% of 2.7 million)
90 community organizations (out of ?); are any citizens listed above part of this group?
"family members of individuals who were killed by CPD officers" (how many were justifiable shootings?); and again, are these persons from either of the previous groups?
"local researchers, academics, and lawyers who have studied CPD extensively for decades (gee, lets guess - Futterman, Ayers, Loevy, Protess - how close were we?)
In other words, people with ingrained prejudices against the police, people with histories versus the police, people whose livelihood relies on suing the police - people with axes to grind. How many of these "interviewees" fit into one or more of those categories? How many were selected at random, or did they all volunteer to come forward with their stories? We know that certain retirees who left or resigned under investigation were all to eager to sit with the DOJ to air their supposed "grievances."
More importantly, how many of these stories fall outside the supposed window of 2011 to 2016? Some? Many? All? We don't know because in every single example cited throughout the report, no dates are given. Some of these stories could be ten or twenty years old. Maybe more, seeing as how they bring up Burge who has been gone for almost 25 years now.
A slapdash report like this, with minimal footnotes and references, calls into question the validity of the rest of the "conclusions" if they're based on faulty metrics. But don't expect a lazy media in thrall to Rahm and his cronies to take any serious look behind the curtain.
Labels: info for the police

Thank you Officer, stay safe and stay fetal for as long as clowns make policy.

The DOJ Report on CPD Should Not Be Tossed Aside Lightly, But Thrown in the Lake With Great Force!

Image result for Loretta lynch and rahm

The Chicago Police Department is stuck in the Stone Age — from training that relies on 35-year-old videos to outdated pursuit tactics that imperil suspects, officers and innocent bystanders, according to a scathing 161-page report just released by the Justice Department.
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch called for sweeping changes in a department she said engages in a “pattern or practice of use of excessive force.” Sun Times nodders: Mick Dumke and Frank Main
"This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force." Dorothy Parker

Sounds like Frank and Mick are just pleasured by Lorrreta's cruciation of Chicago's cops.  Cromagnon CSI?    Those two are loo-loos.  How about a chorus of Alley Oop, sweethearts?

The great Dorothy Parker knew how to handle typing, as opposed to writing.  Writing conveys a message of universal truth in an act of bringing people together. Typing is something toddlers, chimps and government bureaucrats do when they get their chubby digits on the keyboard.

Will I take the time to read Tarmac Loretta's hurried and pre-cast Department of Justice philippic on policing?  Only if I run out of Pepsodent toothpaste tubes* to  delight, for ornament, and for enabling insight into tooth decay (sodium flouride 24% brightens teeth and srengthens enamel: sorbitol watre, hydrated sillica, PEG-8, sodium lauryl sulfate, SD alcohol 26-B, flavor, ceelulose gum, sodium saccharin and titanium dioxide) and I have a store of six at time of writing, not typing.

No.  I will not waste the time and talent afforded to me by our Lord and Savior.

I know what it is in the thick ream palaver.  Nothing.  Unless, I am very wrong,  nothing will be said about the personal involvement of Mayors and their politically appointed, advanced over worthy officers in covering up their crimes, the crimes of their kin, the crimes of their political peeps, the crimes of criminals necessary to advance voter intimidation, nor the advent of  University power political corruption.

There will be no time-line highlighting patient and methodical coopting of the press by Peoples Law Office, The Innocense Industry and Loevy & Loevy going back to the advent of Daley's infatuation with Harris School of Poverty and G. Flint Taylor's Wednesday night workshops at University of Chicago on how to subvert law enforcement, justice, feel good about yourself and make tons of taypayer dollars.

The Creation of Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone is the work of political opportunists, phony preachers, pastors, the press, Marxist ambulance chasers, activists spawned by street cash, and people like Loretta Lynch.

Back to Pepsodent! "ther's a man in the funny papers we all know/he lived way back a long time a-go -woe! . . . Ride, Daddy, Ride!"

*Pepsodent is an American brand of toothpaste with a minty flavour derived from sassafras. It has been owned by Unilever since 1942, except in the US and Canada, where since 2003, it has been owned by Church & Dwight.

Stapesless Politicians Killed Policing - Chicago is Thug Comfort Zone

Image result for Chicago Cop taking abuse

"But down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean, who is neither tarnished nor afraid." Raymond Chandler
"The three smallest bones in your body are all found inside your ear, and you would be completely deaf without them.  Known formally as the malleus, incus and stapes (and informally as the hammer, anvil and stirrup, after their approximate shapes), Natural News

Our problems are First World Problems - "My God! Tom Skilling said we can expect up to ten inches of Snow!  Trump is President!  There's Fake News!  The Cop Thinks I Ran that Red Light - I Know It was Green!"

It is my belief that the only people who should be allowed a beef are First Responders, the only people dedicated to making America remain First World.

I watched a cop get a dressing down from a motorist on Western Ave. at about 110th Street, around 11 A.M., yesterday.   I was walking home from Mr. Swifty Dry Cleaners and could hear the woman who looked and sounded like that smug 'sixty-something' in the AARP commercials. The officer was African American and about thirty years of age and wrote the violation with appreciative good humor.  The woman argued that she had 'not run through the red light' at 109th Street just past County Fair FoodsImage result for Big Plans - snooty AARP commercial "Big Plans!"

I nodded to the officer in full appreciation for his 'troubles.'

The officer was not chasing a thug, or wondering whether or not he should draw his service weapon and go home at the end of the shift; he was taking lip from a well-heeled harpy with that goofy bumpy sticker that only really nasty-tempered and intolerant people seem to slap on the rump of their roadsters - COEXIST
Image result for coexist bumper sticker

I went on my way. I don't have any bumper stickers.  I wear my heart on mu sleeve - it is more than just a handkerchief, you know.

I wondered if this harridan had a Blue Ribbon and Blue Light on here porch.  That would really seal the deal.

The cop would go to his next urban adventure.  Ms. AARP would tell everyone at her Book Club about her battle with fascism.  Maybe she gave Ja'mal Green a jingle about a get together.

The cop might be taking rounds on Vincennces at 103rd,  Percy Julian has had more than few stray lead peltings these past few years.

Chicago is a Thug Comfort Zone,  I have been writing those three words since here on Google since 2006.

ChiRaq, Beruit on the Lake, Kosavo on Kostner, it is all the same; not because of Police Officers, or systemic racism, or a Code of Silence, or Commander Burge, but because of mayors and politicians from Jane Byrne, Harold Washington, Gene Sawyer and Richie Daley right up to and including Rahm Emanuel.

Each mayor wanted crime to go away and homicides to disappear, but doing so allowed the Marxists Lawyers and the well-funded university Centers for Law, Journalism, Truth, Wrongful Justice and Revolution kick up public relations, headlines, editorial series, class-action lawsuits, hefty Lefty contributions, controlled narratives and mythologies, while mayors went to ground under Massive Instant Payout Settlements, Blue Ribbon Panels, Task Forces, Musling Officer Testimony, Judge  Shopping, Conversations about Race, Community Policing, Floral traffic medians and access to the fifth floor for Sneed, Marin, Brown, Steinberg, Goudy and Shaw.

The Marxists co-opted philanthropy and the Politicians co-opted Media Faces, all the while allowing police officers and policing to twist in the wind, dry up and blow away.

The Marxists of the People Law Office, Loevy & Loevy, et. al. are going to ambulance chase, agitate, smear and whine.

Government should be something less than boneless, in the face of such assaults. It is not.

Richard M. Daley was shameful.  Rahm is disgraceful.  They have lacked tiniest element of bone mass.  The three smallest bones of the human body are found in the ear - the stapes, being the smallest of the hammer, anvil and stirrup.

Rather than allow themselves to be grouped with police officers involved in the sworn duties as patrolmen and detectives, Daley and Emanuel have crushed individuals and policing itself under the brass wheels of City Hall bus.

The officer taking abuse from Ms. COEXIST near Mr. Swifty's yesterday feels the wheels.

An Approved Sun Times Letter Writer Is Way Off Base on Police Officers

(Photo by Scott Olson/Getty Images)OPINION (Photo by Scott Olson/Getty Images)
Wednesday letters: Cops not alone in contending with danger

In an editorial last week, you asked what other job, other than police officer, requires people to “take such a risk.” Residents of black, brown, poor or mixed-income communities with high crime rates take those risks every day — in every aspect of our lives. We risk our lives stepping out our front doors, watching TV in our front rooms while listening to shots fired outside, riding public transportation to and from work, and, worst of all, being stopped and harassed or assaulted by those charged to “serve and protect.”

I have been robbed on the L on the way home from work, mugged returning to my office from lunch and assaulted by a drunken security guard at a music festival. I have been a passenger when my partner was stopped for “driving while black.” On numerous occasions, persons who thought my small stature made me an easy target tried to intimidate or maul me on the street or on the CTA. How many police officers have experienced as many dangerous situations as I have? I am not armed, nor do I wear a bullet-proof vest or carry a badge of authority. Nevertheless, I have been able to intervene when I have seen wrongdoing.

Police officers need to quit whining and focus on being part of the solution, not part of the problem. The press needs to stop calling police heroic for doing the jobs they are paid to do. If all police are heroes, so is everybody — residents, teachers, mail carriers, etc. — who live or work in high-crime areas.

Muriel B#$%^, Hyde Park (emphases my own)

Sorry for your troubles Muriel, it is a jungle out there.  Even more of a jungle.

You and I have first world problems; cops attempt to keep Chicago from sliding into Third World status - NPR loves The Third World, emerging nations, developing countries and diverse cultures, but it really hates American culture.  I expect you just might be a huge fan of public radio, television and the Progressive weltanschauung it promotes, when not talking pledge drive.

Life in Chicago can be combative.  The only people who answer calls to danger are cops and firemen; newsmen hear about the calls; activists get a heads up from the editors, or social media.

Only cops and fire fighters show up to stop brawls, thefts, murders, harassments, sexual predators and public nuisances. You and I and other witnesses stand on the wrong side of the yellow tape.  We can have our thoughts and opinions so long as they are somewhat fair.

I believe you are out of line.  No biggie.  You have a great deal of company from our President, to Mary Schmich to Ja'mal Green.

Read, however, the recent account of a midnight shift reporter and his three years in the jungle hell of Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone.

Peter Nickeas has written an account worthy of John Steinbeck and Richard Tregaskis's World War II correspondence.

The first scene I went to on my next shift was the shooting of the man police suspected of the previous night’s crime. He’d been shot on the West Side and was in critical condition. Police said he’d been set up by his getaway driver.
I barely had time to process any of that. The following night, multiple witnesses started calling in gunfire from a single neighborhood, many giving descriptions of the shooters. I was just a mile away. As I got closer, driving slow along a stretch of 47th Street where giant trees loomed overhead, creating the effect of a tunnel, I cracked my window, listening. There were no cops in sight. From about a block away, I saw a handful of guys standing in the street, one of them shooting. I saw the muzzle flash, could smell the smoke, saw it hanging over 47th Street in the cool blue of early morning. Everything slowed down at that moment. Each shot echoed and reverberated. It was as if I could feel the sound moving toward me.
I pulled over and watched the guys jump into two cars and start speeding in my direction. They flew past, toward the Dan Ryan Expressway. Two SUVs followed. I could hear the engine of the first one thrumming as it sped through a red light at the intersection where I was parked. The trailing SUV swerved around a van coming out of the old stockyards and careened through the intersection. I watched the SUVs in my rearview mirror, and just as I was thinking, Please don’t crash, they did. One into the back of the other.
Two guys jumped out of one of the SUVs and fled south. The other SUV kept flying toward the Dan Ryan. Feeling exposed, I pulled into a tiny parking lot just off the intersection and turned my lights off. A car circled the block twice. The third time, the driver slowed down, leaned forward to make eye contact with me, yelled something I couldn’t understand, and drove off. I waited a few seconds and, sensing a safe moment to get a little farther from the scene, started to pull away just as a police Tahoe approached. One of the officers got out, shouldered an AR-15, and made a wide circle around the passenger side of the smoldering SUV while his partner walked up to the driver’s side, right hand on her gun. I thought there was a chance that they would find a victim or a shooter inside, but the SUV was empty.
I got out to talk with the officers. They said the crashed vehicle was registered to someone who lived nearby. It was a “rammer,” bought by gangbangers for a few hundred dollars so they could wreck it chasing other guys around the neighborhood. In the end, no one had been shot. Just a bit of chaos, barely a city news footnote.
When it was all over, I was shaking a little, but I felt good. I hadn’t freaked out. I’d kept my head clear and my eyes open.
I had my eyes open on more than a few occasions, myself.  What is true in those occasions is merely a very small part of what I experienced, like Peter Niceas, in medias res.

Classical tragedy always begins in medias res.  The audience has some of the truth 'revealed' or has its collective eyes opened by the drama unfolding on the stage.

Life is prosaic.  It is not neat and tidy, like the poetry of a Sophocles, or Shakespeare and no where near as tight and complete as the agreed upon narrative played out in the media and by the grandstanding investors of social engineering.

There is no right side of history. That phrase was first used by Rabbi Henry Pereira Mendes in his 1903 book Old Eygpt.   The right/wrong side of history is only determined well after the impact of events can be determined.

Cops are heroes.  A scant few of them are not.  The efforts of heroes to stop the madness of urban thug-ery remains smeared by poetic rhetoric emanating from academic/lawyers and politicians with the goal of ending all local law enforcement and instituting a National police force.  God help us.

If you are supporting that, just say so.  Do not diminish the truth of what police officers experience.

The Sun Times has taken the side against the police, but not a right or wrong side of history.

Blood on the Streets of Chicago - Everyone knows Why; No One is Telling the Truth, But The Good Police

That's right, Officer; only people in blue shirts and checker banded hats have your back.

I know many Chicago Police Officers, black, white, yellow and brown.  They are my neighbors and they protect me and the students I serve in one of Chicago's most active killing grounds: Gresham. They are brave, witty, professional and patient.  I have watched them run down streets in Gresham and Englewood towards gunfire that is never "police" shootings.  I have heard them tell about the oddities and frustrations and politics of the job with rhetorical flourishes that embarrass a Metaphysical Poet,

I have sat with them when a young black teenager explained how the GDs, or the Stones harassed, threatened, robbed and beat them for book bags, cell hones, or change.  I have talked with them about the mistreatment meted out Daley, Aldermen, Rahm, Alderman, Jesse Jackson, Pastor Pfleger, Andy Shaw, Mark Brown, Carol Marin, Eric Zorn, Neal Steinberg, John Conroy,  Dan Placko, G. FLint Taylor, Jon Loevy, Locke Bowman, the Blum Center for Justice and MacArthur Center for Justice and they shrug and say, " They give us way too much credit for being crafty, vicious and mean. Hell we are just not that smart. Most of us went into the Service (military) and not Northwestern after Mendel, Loyola, Mount Carmel, Harper."

Then I read about the Chicago Police in the Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times, watch Phil Ponce on WTTW and I ask myself, " Where are all of these racist Mymidons hiding?"

Actually, I do not really ask that question.

Chicago is a Thug Comfort Zone.  It was created by Thugs, of course, but also Peoples Law Office, Bernardine Dorhn, Shasha Abramsky, G. Flint Taylor, Dave Protess, the Center for Wrongful Convictions, The Bluhm Legal Clinic, the editorial Boards of both news papers, the MacArthur Foundation, The Woods Fund, Richard M. Daley, Rahm Emanuel, the Chicago City Council, Governor Pat Quinn, the Illinois Legislature, Attorney General, Lisa Madigan and all of our social justice activists across this the town.

Jon Burge is the face of the police.  Most critics of Jon Burge were not alive during his time on the police force, but free-lance writer John Conroy married the Bernardine Dorhn narrative of Vietnam War born methods and racist methodologies to the court briefs of Peoples Law Office G. Flint Taylor back in the late 1980's.  A sexy story with a beefy red-faced cop bulldozed legal and law enforcement procedures and practises off the streets and into the court of public opinion.

Murdering Felons were all wrongfully charged, prosecuted and convicted.  Murder by arsonist, the torture and assassination of two police officers returning from the wake of a murdered rookie cop, monosyllabic psychopaths became the Hurricane Hunters and even Cliff Huckstables of Chicago.

Commander Jon Burge was never convicted of torture, but is universally accepted to be one.  He is no Alfred Dreyfus, but he did go prison for perjury via legal and rhetorical forensics , thirty years in the making. In the Chicago memory hole is the fact that Burge arrested and helped convict criminals, during Mayor Harold Washington's terms of office and they were not solely African American victims of systemic racism.  Burge was a pro-active street sweeper of thugs and became a political liability for gutless politicians.  Thug life flourished, because there are no longer consequences to anything in Urbs in Horto.

The urban life without consequences is masked with the compelling narratives,

  • systemic racism
  • a culture of police brutality
  •  the system is broken
  • cops code of silence
  • Homan Square black ops
  • police shootings
  •  gun violence
  • more money for jobs, education and 'lives turned around.'

This morning before I went to Mass, I read Second City Cop, as is my wont.  I read this important blog, because it is much more accurate than Frank Main.

I read about the anguished words of a west side grandmother from an article in Chicago's usually very accurate DNAinfo Chicago. The anonymous police officer who blogs is a very good writer and a very fair minded person.  Like most Chicagoans, this writer of the SCC blog eschew bullshit, which is the staple of the Chicago Media and the political and social Justice classes.  I reprint the piece in full:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 12, 2016
Boo Hoo
The neighborhood is noticing something:
Delores Coleman watched 22-year-old Irell Mitchell's life come to an abrupt end around the corner from her home Monday evening and, she said, the police came and went in 90 minutes.
"They didn't talk to anyone ... they just picked up his body and left," Coleman said. "Didn't do no investigation or nothing."
90 minutes to tag, bag and wrap up a crime scene? Well done! There should be a lot more scenes like that.
Hours later, gunmen returned to her block, firing a volley of shots that hit 10-year-old Tavon Tanner in his back while he sat with his family on their front porch. The next day he was in critical condition, with a bullet lodged in his chest.
The 3900 block of West Polk Street has been choked by violence all year, but for her part, Coleman said the twin tragedies Monday made her feel abandoned.
"It's clear the police don't give a f--- about us," she said. "They don't care. We call them, and they just ride right past us."
Well grandma, it's pretty clear that the neighborhood doesn't give a fuck about....well, pretty much anything.
Is anyone in the media asking why the 10-year-old got shot? The neighborhood knows, the detectives know, the coppers know. We've gotten a bunch of e-mail about it, and it gives lie to everything the "community" has been protesting the past few months. This wasn't a kid caught in the crossfire. But god forbid the media actually does its job, interview people, and report what is actually going on in the 'hood, especially if it runs contrary to a "police don't care" narrative.
The trouble is, it was a police sergeant who enabled that kid to even get to the hospital.

Rahm's Chicago is Richie Daley's Monument - No Havoc Here.

"Let's face it: we have a problem in Chicago. The name-calling and politics at City Hall are keeping us from tackling the real issues ... I may not be the best speaker in town, but I know how to run a government and how to bring people together."
Rahm Emanuel worked for the Daley campaign as a fundraiser,[42] David Axelrod as campaign strategist, William Daley as chief strategist, and Forrest Claypool as a campaign aide. Wikipedia on Richard M. Daley

"The more killing and homicides you have, the more havoc it prevents." Richard M. Daley(RMD)

To be fair, Rahm's Chicago began at that time in Richie Daley's Mayorship when the University of Chicago Hyde Park Mafia sunk its hooks in his tiny heart.  That was when kitchen cabinet Progressive types encouraged RMD to Move out of Bridgeport

  • Ax people like Pat Huels, Terry Teele and Oscar De Angelo pronto
  • Use Marilyn Katz PR and watch the Feds takeover  CHA* and send problems to neighborhoods
  • Trust U of C and Northwestern to beat up on the solid but Progressively disdained people who got you elected ( Sheahan, Joyce and Degnan) via university trained Hegelian activists, lawyers and media types: G. Flint Taylor/Locke Bowman/Jeanne Snyder/Bernardin Dorhn et al
  • Snuggle up to the University of Chicago policy artistes
  • Use hard-ball tactics against old school Ward bosses - embrace Shakman
  • Close neighborhood taverns, where people talk politics ( RMD) closed scores of family saloons in Bridgeport, Canaryville, Back of the Yards, McKinley Park, Brighton Park and in the southwest Mick Wards.
  • Embrace Progressive platitudes and play act regular old schoolisms to fool the helots.
  • Place Progressive icons in City Departments as Heads and hug  Shakman tighter
  • Have Regular Democratic Organizations ( 10th, 14th, 19th Wards e.g.)  send field troops into Lakeview, Uptown, Rogers Park and Hyde Park to shoo out the votes for our Mike Quigleys, Joe Mooores and Toni Preckwinkles.
  • Turn the keys of the City over to Ameritech, Nortyh Michigan Ave Business Association and Disney.
  • Don't Worry about Torture or Burge, or whatever - Our judges like Judge Robert Gettleman got your back.
All of those moves put Valerie Jarrett in the White House and helped build Chicago's Thug Comfort Zone.

Today, Chicago is America's largest illegal gun range.  The guns used in Chicago's daily bloodbaths are not Commie AK-47s in the hands of Aryan Nation Pro-Lifeers; they are street steel.

We have no havoc and we have tons of homicides.

Here is today's Butcher Bill

Year to DateShot - Killed: 271
Shot - Wounded: 1490
Total Shot: 1761
Total Homicides: 302

No Havoc!  Enjoy The Pride Parade, Buy some great Disney Products on the Mag Mile and in City Kiosks Everywhere, but Engelwood, Taste of Chicago and Ride the Giant Ferris wheel!

Disney had one  horrific week with the slaughter of people in a nightclub, the stalker murder of a young singer and the corporate controlled death of a toddler at a Disney Resort.

We have the same corporately controlled environment here in Chicago  - hey, deaths happen, people.

Alligators go where they wants to go and urban thugs get chillin' with killin' G!

Today we "learn" that Disney was very aware of threats posed by alligators even when their nature habitat is 'controlled' by the suits who erased Walt Disney's Vision.

Here is a solid Disney employee shooing away Wally Gator (Chicago has one as well) from guests on Splash Mountain.

More interesting is the comment section from the Daily Mail article that broke this story. where gent from Birmingham, Michigan notes,

@#$$%%%^^, Birmingham MI, United States, about 5 hours ago
Safer here than walking on streets of Chicago
That is quite true, There has yet to be another alligator attack since the horror of last week, but Chicago killings and homices continue to keep Old Man Havoc away!

Disney and Daley and Rahm's Chicago Both Are No-Fly Zones: "“I think just the whole debate about the flight restriction–temporary flight restriction. How difficult that was, how hard it was to get as compared to Mickey and Minnie getting it.”

Hard, Richie, way hard.  Harder than arithmetic.

*Joseph Shuldiner, Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing, will be HUD's point man in Chicago. The former head of New York City's housing authority, Mr. Shuldiner will oversee much of the transition from local to Federal control.
He will arrive in Chicago either Monday or Tuesday to brief Mayor Daley and to talk with residents and the staff of the authority. Mr. Daley is out of the city on a trip to England, paid for by American Airlines, and he could not be reached for comment.

Was I a Headline This Morning? My Adventure on Chicago's Dan Ryan Expressway ( 9-9:46 AM on May 23, 2016)

"Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no." Ian Betteridge's Law of Journalism

" A Semi driver was shot and seriously wounded as he drove north on the Dan Ryan Expressway near 95th Street on Thursday night, the second shooting on a Chicago expressway in five days and among more than a dozen this year, state police said." - Chicago Tribune

Taking a friend to the airport is a task that most of us view as a simple obligation to family and friends.  Taking a friend to the airport in Chicago is another matter. For a resident of the Morgan Park neighborhood, the choice of route depends upon the airport - Midway Airport, or O'Hare. Midway is a breeze - head north on Cicero Ave to 63rd street and get in the right lane.  Going to O'Hare should be determined by the Tolls, or the Chicago traffic. One can easily go directly to O'Hare on Interstate 294 and pay a couple of tolls, if one is going directly to O'Hare. My task required a trip to River Forest; thus, the Dan Ryan and the Ike.

Recently the stretch of the Dan Ryan between 127th Street and 95th Street has been the site of a number of lethal thug killings and woundings.  These incidents that the media and political social justice charlatans call 'gun violence' have boosted Chicago's reputation as the nation's number one Thug Comfort Zone and will only increase the municipal exeunt omnes brought on by such law makers and loud mouths.

I left the barn for my good deed a few minutes before 9 AM.  As my friend's flight on United was scheduled for 1:45 PM and required a three hour pre-TSA Mugging arrival and the one hour and change it takes to get to Division and Harlem, I did not wish to shoot craps with Jane Byrne Interchange Cluster Hug.

Driving 111th Street east to Ryan is a breeze.  People from Beverly, Morgan Park, Roseland, Mount Greenwood, Washington Heights and Fernwood are generally traffic observant and friendly.  There is also the neighborhood's bastion of Service and Protection - the 22nd District of Chicago Police Department at Monteray - just before the Dan Ryan entrance ramp on Hamlet Street.

There was a red light before the ramp and I was enjoying WCDB 90.5 jazz, when my car jarred.

The driver of a red, late-model Nissan Altima had bumped me. As it was slight bump, I turned in my seat and waved off any concern for the driver's inattention, or technical problem.  Seconds passed and the light changed.  I took my foot off the brake and checked my rear view mirror - the driver, a thirty-something African American man, was screaming at me and laying on the horn - He was saying that I am a Caucasian Fornicator of Oedipal Inclinations.

I recalled the recent spat of Dan Ryan shootings.  Though they took place during wee small hours of the mornings, perhaps the huge thick portion day-break was not out of the question: 1. the man hit me. 2. I was sure that he was not infuriated because I had not given him the opportunity to make a clean breast of things concerning his violation Secretary of State Jesse White's Rules of the Illinois Roads. The driver was going apeshit and now was trying to run me off the road.

I am a very good driver and I did not want to allow my nemesis to pull up even with me.  After checking on-coming traffic in the rear views, I hit the brakes and swerved in behind the red Nissan and we engaged what can only be described as an expressway dogfight - doing vehicular Immalmans, and two dimensional barrelrolls from 111th Street all the was to 87th Street when I managed to secure my place behind this person who intended no good for me.

On several occasions my enemy in this duel of American ( I drive a Chevy) and Japanese cars managed to pull up next to and began lowering his window. With my peripheral vision I gauged traffic and looked for a firearm and hit the brakes whenever he was close to giving me a more robust burst from his arsenal of epithets concerning my race, or a sound hosing of 9mm pills.

Just past 87th Street, I made a call to 911 and asked for Illinois State Police - I gave the make, model and Illinois license plate numbers and hung up.  I was not going to pull over and test Dame Fortune with this gent. All the time I managed to stay behind this guy.

No State Troopers anywhere, Not at 63rd.  Not at 47th Canaryville.  Not at Sox Park.  Not at Chinatown and the guy was staying with me - though just ahead me.  He kept turning his head to shout at me.   I called again and was told that ' we are covering an accident.'

I followed him to the Ike at the Jane Byrne Interchange onto 290 and west side.  The guy pulled as far to the right as he could and I remained on his tail.  He faked an exit at Racine. Another at Western Ave. and gave no indication that he was going to allow me top avoid a confrontation with him.

Finally, he gave up at Homan Ave. and I continued on to pick up my friend and take her to O'Hare.  we arrived in plenty of time.

After fulfilling my simple task on that particular Holy Trinity Sunday, I headed back to 111th Street and went into 22nd. District Headquarters and made a hit and run complaint, as that was my only means of getting on the record - he hit me on Hamlet Street and that was not on the Dan Ryan.  I did not pull over and 'wait' for the Illinois State Police show up.

Mostly, I did not wish to be headline - 63 year old shot in yet another expressway incident - no suspects.

As it is, I was blessed by God.

I have no idea what the other guy is all about.

A Simple Way to End Urban Slaughter -Kick the Policy Wheel in the 'Old Loving Tackle'

pol·i·cy 1  (pŏl′ĭ-sē) etymology: [Middle English policie, art of government, civil organization, from Old French; see police.]
           n. pl. pol·i·cies
1. A plan or course of action, as of a government, political party, or business, intended to influence and determine decisions, actions, and other matters: American foreign policy; the company's personnel policy.
2.
a. A course of action, guiding principle, or procedure considered expedient, prudent, or advantageous: Honesty is the best policy.
b. Prudence, shrewdness, or sagacity in practical matters: It is never good policy to speak rashly.
After widespread criticism of Chicago's yearlong delay in releasing video of a police officer's fatal shooting of a teenager, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Tuesday that the city will begin releasing video of shootings by police within two to three months of each incident.
Emanuel cast the new policy as a break from the past for a city that has been sluggish in releasing recordings of controversial police encounters, though civil rights attorneys said the policy still allows for too much delay. Chicago Tribune
The word policy comes from the Middle French word for police.   If It Ain't Policy It Gets Ignored. Policy begets lawyers, lawsuits and future policy. Hence the Policy Wheel 2016.

The Policy Wheel whirls dervishly! Hell, it is making Western Civilization -now a microaggression in its utterance - disappear.

More importantly, Policy kills police officers and good policing by police women and men; yet, politicians apply policy universal for political gain and then demand good policing of police officers who stand a very good chance not going home at the end of a shift.

Policy is used by everyone - usually to no good effect.  Gutless, lazy, unimaginative and ambitious mediocrities in all walks of life turn to policy to make decisions they do not wish to stand with, punish the people who work for them, make budget cuts in the workforce, deny access to funding programs they want to see ended and point to when called on the carpet by some higher-up, gutless, lazy, unimaginative and ambitious mediocrity.

Here in Chicago, when a Mayor steps on his Johnson, he points to the failed policies he inherited with taking his oath of office - “On the police use of force, this is not [new]. Everybody knows we have had other issues as it relates to the Abbate case, the Burge torture, the Summerdale [district scandal]. Every mayor, my predecessors — have dealt with this in one way or another,” Rahm Emanuel

Then, announces new policy -"(The task force) helped the city take a bold step forward, in a comprehensive way, to establish the rules going forward that are clear to everybody," Rahm Emanuel

Politicians ( Policy Breeders) want to make sure that their policies have the backing of the University of Chicago Crime Lab Boys - who already articulated the very 'policies' that have turned Chicago into a thug comfort zone - This from the U of C Crime Lab:

" Basic scientific research has dramatically changed our understanding of what drives human behavior, what types of social conditions are the most important risk or protective factors for violence involvement, and how to manage and direct the activities of large-scale organizations – including the challenges of taking good ideas and making them work at scale. Government agencies are typically not equipped to translate basic science into policy innovations. We need to ensure that the frontier of policy innovation takes advantage of the frontier understanding from basic science of people and organizations."

The University of Chicago Crime Lab? Good lord. Arrive at pre-conceived conclusion and then round-up the necessary facts to 'prove' it. What PC nonsense and what political ninnies. N.B. We ( University of Chicago Gobshites) need to ensure that the frontier of policy innovation takes advantage of the frontier understanding from basic science of people and organizations." from the UofC Crime Lab: about us.

The frontier of "policy innovations" - geld cops and scuttle justice. Epic fail - scientific facts are indisputable!

That crappola is what Cook County will use to end urban slaughter - Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart calls it a 'home run.'

N.B. - Government agencies are typically not equipped to translate basic science into policy innovations
You mean like -CeaseFire: Safe Zones: Gun Buy Backs the much put-upon IPRB: the Wrongful Everything Industry . . .?

Political worms working the loam.

Here in the action-packed world of urban Catholic education, policy worms its coils and attempts to be like CPS, a policy laden monster of titanic ineptitude.  Failed teachers, educators and too many administrators, hug policy - especially ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY.

I told a Catholic high school principal once that "policy is for . . . ."  I used a word employed pan-gender to indicate possession of a female reproductive organism, . . . a synonym for See You Next Tuesday that begins with the consonant P.

If a student violates dress code by wearing a black polo instead of a seasonal white polo, go up ask the student why.  Perhaps, there had been a laundry mishap. Do your job.  Don't hide behind policies Zero or Robust!

Policy comes from like-minded gutless, lazy, unimaginative and ambitious mediocrities found in our more prestigious colleges and universities.

The University of Chicago not only built the atomic bomb, birthed scores of conservative Nobel Prize winners, but also forests of pages of policies that became Yellow Brick Road for Forrest Claypools, Richard M. Daleys, Rahm Emanuels and Barack Obamas.

In short, policy aborted thought, vision and charity quicker than Kermit Gosnell with baby's noggin and sharp scalpel in his bloody mitts.

My humble plea to restore thought, vision and charity to all human aspirations and endeavors is this -

When a politician, bureaucrat, activist, Ralph Martire, or school administrator utters the word policy, policies, or equine scat like this:

Our other goal is to ensure that policymakers have adequate feedback about what their innovations are accomplishing so that policy approaches get better over time. While randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are the standard for testing innovations in medicine, they remain far too rare in the areas of crime policy and social policy more generally. It is very difficult to identify the causal effects of policy interventions in the real world, a problem that can lead to unhelpful or even quite harmful policy decisions. Without good evidence, policymakers have no basis for allocating scarce public-sector resources across different potential uses other than hunches and politics.

Kick them, or a have much more athletic and robust friend do so, squarely and honestly in the balls.

It is an empirically tested and proven scientific fact that a good, well-aimed and swift kick in the nuts, will end any and all idiotic inclinations.

When people depend upon shared universal truths, witness their small place in human society and acknowledge the Prime Mover, then, and only then, will thugs be punished for their crimes.

Homicides may diminish, but gutless, lazy, unimaginative and ambitious mediocrities will think twice before using the P-Word.
