A...I am all for it. RET would be a great Mayor.

A conservative Mayor will attract conservative public servants with real talent. We sure need that fiscally speaking. Maybe we have some fiscally conservative workers in the system right now but they are too afraid to come out of the closet. The tax and spend culture needs to end. What we have now in Chicago is sucking the life blood out of the whole region. The following generations of Chicagoans are screwed unless we take on the hard task of pushing Chicago out of the deep debt ditch it is in. We The People love this part of the country but we will be forced to move if things get too oppressive with tax burdens and no jobs. This survival exodus from the region will make things even worse. We need someone with backbone to make the hard choices. We need someone with a compass that point conservative. Bobby’s 40 years of studying politics and writing books about politics make him more qualified than all of the others candidates in the race. We need a leader with courage to stay the course on fiscal responsibility. I am convinced Bobby has the strength of character to stick by what he knows is true. I remember the Clinton years and trooper gate. Bobby stuck by the very unpopular story that gave us the first hint the commander and chief was using his status in public office as a pick up line. Bobby stood by his American Spectator reporters and the truth. Character matters.

Chicago’s world class city status is in jeopardy. Only leaders who are centered on conservative values can face these problems head on and bring us back from the brink of bankruptcy.

I am all for it and ready to help.Buck TRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10178457989411085672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8978152.post-80009098290432940362010-09-14T12:19:16.751-07:002010-09-14T12:19:16.751-07:00Chicago will get a new mayor next year. We need so...Chicago will get a new mayor next year. We need someone who knows the city's situation well and will fight the corrupt insiders that have run it into the ground; some one who knows city government and can manage it.

Tyrell is a very funny guy, but I see no evidence that he knows anything about Chicago. (Has he ever lived here? And no, going to HS in Oak Park doesn't count.) Nor about city government.

Chicagoans are facing a lot of very tough issues in the next year. There's no place for political theater.Rich Rostromhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13262703348236110420noreply@blogger.com
